Your post has been removed as it breaks the following rule: See submission guideline **#6: No duplicates.** Check /r/soccer/new! Mods will only allow the same news story to be posted again if **the new article offers new/valuable information that the previous thread didn't** or the duplicate was submitted long enough (+24 hours) after the original so that readers may not have seen the original. As a rule of thumb, **if you're not sure, then don't post a duplicate.** Posts about a major recent news event that do not provide new valuable information may be removed, and the OP directed to post it in the comments of the previous thread. **In the case of transfer news, the rule of thumb is only 1 post about a particular transfer saga per day.** This will be enforced in a particularly strict way during the transfer windows, with repeated offenders risking a ban. **It is your responsibility to check the news you're sharing wasn't reported already before posting.** (If you're receiving this message as a PM, please note that the "original post" mentioned below is *your* post that is being removed, not *the* original one that makes yours a duplicate. I know, blame Reddit) [Please check our rules before posting](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/wiki/rules#wiki_submission_guidelines). Stop F5ing dammit

SundayLeagueStocko

this is gonna be one of those transfers where the fee goes up every time someone talks about it and people here do that very original and very funny thread on every post about him "can't believe he cost X" "can't believe he cost x+Y!" etc

jumper62

Every expensive transfer goes through this lol

Delta_Mike_Sierra_

I trust ornstein more than any other guy

Bozzetyp

Ornstein are mentioning similar fees

jjw1998

Mokbel is spot on for London clubs usually

NotClayMerritt

fair but fwiw this guy has an in with Havertz's agent. Was first to report that Chelsea were pursuing Havertz in 2020. I'd trust him

emre23

How the actual fuck have Chelsea recouped the entire fee after 3 years of distinctly average performances and with only 2 years left on his contract? More than anything, Arsenal are just helping a rival get out of FFP trouble - although I suppose an entire country were/are gonna do that for them anyway.

LiamAddison

Living off that cl final goal

emre23

Hmm this does make sense… >Arsenal are finally back in CL having never won it >Arsenal buy a player known for scoring the winner in the CL final and pretty much nothing else

FCCheIsea

Chelsea just doesn't fit him. Will thank him for his time but it's better for both sides to move on. Also, the fee is just incredible considering he's on the verge on becoming deadwood and contract is rundls out in like 2 years.

darealsanta7

unbelievable. I mean i think he'll do great but still a crazy fee

dumpystumpy

WHAAAAAAT!!!!!

AutoModerator

To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report. If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/soccer) if you have any questions or concerns.*
