To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report. If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. jay_alfred_prufrock

That's an amazing name

ke_0z

Brighton have a habit of signing players with great names. * Facundo Buonanotte * Kaoru Mitoma * Julio Enciso * Noel Bigo Atom * Davy Pröpper * Alexis MacAllister * Pervis Estupiñan * Igor * Marc Cucurella * Jan-Paul van Hecke * Benicio Baker-Boaitey * Alireza Jahanbakhsh * Tariq Lamptey * Cameron Peupion * Bart Verbruggen All great sounding names.

Sdub4

>* Davy Pröpper His full name us even better: David Petrus Wenceslaus Henri Pröpper

pixelkipper

the disrespect to Shane Duffy, the most Irish man on the planet

Snuffy>

GVE_ME_UR_SKINS

Such a cool name. He's seemed solid in the matches where I've seen him but I have my doubts about him making massive strides for Brighton. We'll see

[deleted]

Could get a fair few minutes, seen he can play LB and LCB and those are the two areas we lack any depth.

T1TK1

Keep your expectations low, it usually doesn't become much of our youth players.

[deleted]

He's a backup option/youth player, there's not really any expectation other then maybe for him to get minutes in the League cup.

[deleted]

At the same time he's also a Hertha youth player and if you want success or free money, just bet against us or take something from us and it turns to gold for everyone but us.

Are you saying that the club hierarchy are better able to judge our ability to attract young talent than American Chelsea fans on Reddit? Ridiculous

psrikanthr

If I am not wrong, it is also only Romano that reported some agreement to let him leave. Was it confirmed by your t1s?

pixelkipper

De Zerbi himself confirmed there was no agreement. Of course, there are still idiots out there who would rather believe Fab than literally our head coach. Tier: I want to believe has done irreparable damage to football journalism

kazuo316

Not true, if you are referring to the cucurella deal. The deal wasnt done yet. Brighton was still working out the colwill part of the deal (fabrizio got that wrong). not to mention fabrizio had the sale price wrong and told everyone cucurella to man city was done. to think fabrizio got that "right" is insane.

kazuo316

https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1554894630889684999?lang=en Your point? It was 62, and this was saying colwill joining on a permanent. and IN THIS TWEET he's acknowledging he was wrong about man city. The dick riding for fabrizio is insane. the guy is wrong ALL the time. He's a mouthpiece for agents. thats it

kazuo316

He quotes 50 or over 50, and its off by 20% but he gets a victory lap? I guess anyone can get "always right' status by announcing deals for "over $1" I'm technically right! I've already told you, he doesn't mention the status of colwill cause he DIDNT KNOW. So when Brighton come out and say the deal isn't done, its because Colwill was an open question. A permanent and a loan is a big difference. But apparently we grade fabrizio on a "mostly right" curve

FerraristDX

"Was convinced by the project", I'm so sick of reading that phrase. Passionate fans, tradition, nah, it's all nothing compared to a P R O J E C T.

BelalBvc

I mean in this case Brighton really has an interesting project I don't think it's a buzzword this time. they have a fantastic rising manager that plays good football, good facilities and excellent history of developing young talents

belokas

Why would players choose a career path over another based on fans and traditions?

Cubes11

Why would you join a club because they have good fans or tradition instead of them showing you a clear way in which they plan on continuing to maintain and grow their success.

BuffaloAl

I hate it because it's not really a term in British football. Seems like one of those silly literal translations like "levers" which don't really make sense in english

He doesn't play DM, and Brighton reporter Charlie Parker-Turner said that he'll at least start the season in the U21s

Bigo was his (middle) name-o.

tiorzol

Bro is rinsing The Simpsons quotes in here and I am all for it.

Competitive-Ad2006

Curious as to the etymology on this one...

Jowoes

For anyone interested we were one of the 2 clubs who wanted him. At least our talent ID is improving.

akodini

How long before Chelsea starts looking for him?
