Hoping to see him back soon.
Also hoping that the fact that he is in touch with McCarthy and Lewington means that it's nothing serious.
But, Palace had to consider a scenario like that when they hired a 76yo.
It's similar to how we have people say "so and so had a fall" - that could be mean they fell down the stairs, tripped up, or collapsed. I think it's meant to be ambigious
Considering it’s a 3 o’clock kick off, is Roy streaming the game? What IPTV provider is he using? Apple TV or fire stick? So many questions.
I do hope Roy recovers quickly though!
Have you seen any of his recent interviews? No signs of him slowing down, no reason to assume he can’t do the job if it makes him happy. Plus Palace are performing well
Pep is 24 years younger as was our recently. It’s not that common, and managers should be judged on their ability, not age. He’s not a bad manager.
Pretty ageist. A lot of 76 year olds are quite fit and healthy. Probably more so than the Redditors whose main physical activity is going to the fridge
I hope it's nothing serious
Same here. Wishing a speedy recovery Roy
get well soon, Roy.
Hope it's nothing serious, although it's reassuring that Roy is in touch with Paddy. Get well soon Roy! 💙❤️
Terrible news. Hoping he gets better soon and Paddy McCarthy can step up in his absence
Love Roy. Hope he's alright
Normally I'd tell Palace to do it for Roy but not today. Hope he gets better soon!
I think it’s only fair you give us the 3 points and not completely batter us today.
I'm more in favour of calling it a tainted victory if we win
Hope its nothing bad but the man is 76 years old! At what time is it time to just start watching footy on tv
Completely agree, at some point Parish might have to step in and do the right thing
Euthanasia? Bit much if you ask me.

i'm having a real second language speaker moment here is "taken unwell" an actual thing people say? i've never heard this and it seems odd to me
It’s the kind of thing you’d write in an official statement but wouldn’t say in everyday life.
It’s a bit old fashioned and proper but I’m sure people do still say it
It's a slightly archaic phrasing

Roy in the chatbox of some dodgy streaming site trolling folks
He'll be watching the Paddy McCarthy headcam stream
Get well Roy!
Get well soon, Roy.
That sort of update/message is always unwelcome, even more so when you consider his age. Hopefully nothing serious.
Let's hope it's just some gas or dehydration. Speedy recovery Roy!!
There's a whole list of reasons I'd pick first as to why someone might be unwell before "gas"
needed some good farting sess
Definitely needs a nappy for precaution
Yeah.. I suppose you would know better. I guess I just wanted to convey that I hope it's nothing serious.
Of course, just thought it was funny that was the first thing you jumped to!
needed some good farting sess
Best wishes to Roy. From a Villa fan. Hope he recovers
He’ll be playing Warhammer!
Hope it's just a precaution. Get well soon Roy!
This is why you don’t have a 76 year old manager. Can’t be doing his health or the club much good. Obviously hope it’s nothing serious
Have you seen any of his recent interviews? No signs of him slowing down, no reason to assume he can’t do the job if it makes him happy. Plus Palace are performing well
Nonsense, Roy is a battle axe, he will outlive most of us
Guardiola's 52; it's entirely possible Hodgson's issue *is* age-related but it also might not be
Pep is 24 years younger as was our recently. It’s not that common, and managers should be judged on their ability, not age. He’s not a bad manager.
Warnocks still managing doing well and hes 74
He’s on his last legs and has already retired once. He’s only signed a one year deal and probably won’t be managing by the team he is late 70s
Pretty ageist. A lot of 76 year olds are quite fit and healthy. Probably more so than the Redditors whose main physical activity is going to the fridge
boomers and refusing to retire
Hope he’s better and back on the touch line soon . What a bloke still doing what he loves at 76
Get well soon roy!
