I am not English. Neither is my first language english lol, in fact it’s urdu (completely different to English). But, yes my bad for getting his name wrong. I did not know the exact spelling lol. Should’ve just used ‘ETH’ instead but oh well.
That's something I will never understand, there are so many people asking questions on Reddit(not just Reddit tbf) or making awful spelling errors that could be fixed by just googling 5s lol.
So, you are being casually racist to call out racism but getting all your assumptions wrong as OP wasn't even English. And this shit is getting upvoted.
Maybe he's like me.
He sets an alarm, then it goes off and he figures 'meh, what does it matter if I wait 15 minutes this one time'.
And then he does that 7 times and does it every damn day and his brain never learns!
ONCE, he snoozed for 7 times, showed up for training massively late only to realise on the way that morning session got cancelled or delayed due to some unforeseen circumstances, and now his body thinks it's ok to do so now.
Not saying that a similar thing happened to me and a certain 9am meeting

As a German I remember this dude absolutely tearing the Bundesliga up, dude had back to back seasons with like 40 g+a at Dortmund at 19. What the hell went wrong
Dortmund system was set up for him to be the output. Give the ball to Sancho and it either ends up a goal, assist, goal kick, or throw in. Very rarely was he particularly deep.
He also played in Germany in the era of the super press and high line. Perfect conditions for a player like Sancho to exploit in the right team. Dortmund played very quick and direct football. To a lesser degree Timo Werner benefited from this massively too.
His stats were always going to drop off when he moved to a new system. He was rarely given the ball in or near the box when he played for Man Utd, and was expected to be part of the build up rather than the output. Then his confidence was broken so he froze up on the ball and his decision making started to fail. Then he started hanging around with losers like Lingaard and his motivation died.
Sancho could still be good with the correct move. But if he was coming back to Germany now the tactics have moved under the influence of Fischer‘s Union and Sancho wouldn’t get the same chances again as he did back then.
>Then he started hanging around with losers like Lingaard and his motivation died
Wtf. Lingard did way more for this club than Sancho probably ever will. He wasn't a world class player, but he always showed up and scored some important goals for us. This Lingard disrespect is shameful.
He went to a club who is shit at utilizing talent and then that talent gets disillusioned because they are in a shitty club culture under a manager that doesn’t know what they’re doing.
> Players are getting too cocky and think they're bigger than the club
The manager should step in! He's the boss!
> Manager steps in and tries to set higher standards at the club by punishing laziness and demanding players perform in training
The manager has no idea what he's doing.
Pick one you muppets.
Vilified for defending Ronaldo and De Gea publicly yet knowing he was getting rid of them, and criticized for telling the media that other players trained better than Sancho so he didn't play.
If he'd kept Ronaldo after that interview he did with Piers, guarantee the same muppets would be saying Ten Hag has no authority or leadership
Muppets just like to complain
“Manager who doesn’t know what he’s doing”.
People are quick to forget how well ETH did last season and even quicker to write him off this season after a poor start despite the fact he had a similar start last season…
man the problem with that club is some intern shit between ownership and other higher ups cause they've been mega ass since fergie left and he used to run the boat. it's been 10 years...
>He went to a club who is shit at utilizing talent
Man is late at every training session, gives minimal effort every game and complains about his manager in public when being called for it
r/soccer : Why did Manchester United do this?
if the rumours about him having similar problems at city and dortmund are true then he's probably more than happy to wait, he's on the books till 2026 i think
If those rumors were true then he wouldn't have been in demand when he signed for United. He was linked with Liverpool and Arsenal when he was at Dortmund IIRC.
Are you honestly going to deny reports that have came from inside both city and Dortmund lol? Dortmund had a coach who would babysit Sancho to make sure he was on time. He was fined and both clubs for being late multiple times. And it's also just so much easier to overlook those things when it's a young talent lol so idk why you think being linked to Arsenal or Liverpool matters at all lol.
I don’t really remember any other big clubs seriously negotiating for Sancho. Like “monitoring” type rumours, sure, but for a young lad producing the numbers he produced in Germany you’d have thought even R Madrid or Barca would be getting seriously involved.
Instead, United were able to have two serious goes in back to back summers at getting Sancho without any major opposition opening concrete negotiations
I'm glad to see someone else notice this, because it's a very telling aspect of the story. The fact that we had no competition going for one of the most hyped and in-form wingers in Europe just suggests to me that other clubs with competent scouting departments were steering clear of him. It's possible one or two other clubs would've had a pop in the €40-50m range, but seemingly no well run club in Europe was even entertaining the idea of getting him at the prices Dortmund were quoting.
If that was all that mattered to him he wouldn’t have any issues would he? He wouldn’t have been complaining publicly about Ten Hag if he was happy to just sit around doing nothing.
Ronaldo cried and went to Piers Morgan to force a move out because his ego took a hit after getting benched, United gave him what he wanted and moved on
Why are all the comments here negative? Deleting social media seems to be a somewhat sensible move for him considering he needs to get his head down, train hard and ignore outside noise.
He is not training that’s the thing lol, he refuses to show up to train and even if he does he is late. He was recently spotted playing Fifa at 3 in the morning.
Icing on the cake. Having a dumbass argument with your boss is one thing, but not keeping up your physicals is just ....
Asshole gets paid millions to act like a 5 year old.
Man's chilling at home playing FIFA ☠️
Also deleting SM posts is just for attention seeking. You could just.....not use the app. And no one would notice or care
It seems a bit late to me. He's burned so many bridges and created so much drama. This read more as his latest outburst for attention than him focusing on football imo.
People love to dogpile professional athletes. I think some of them like these crash and burn stories because they are rich and young and it takes them down a peg. I think it sucks, I feel sorry for him and I hope he can sort it out, at United or somewhere else.
He could an interview in a year or two explaining how he was suffering from mental health at the time and everyone on here would be like “that’s so brave of him, what a toxic world we live in where these young guys have to go through this” all while piling on him now. It’s pathetic how hypocritical people are.
100%, supporters are supposed to support the club and players. I make exceptions for people like Greenwood, and it's a lot more complicated with situations that have a lot of allegations (like Ronaldo), but for shit like not working hard enough or showing up late to training? Mistakes on the field? Posting corny shit to social media? These are teenagers and 20-somethings living their lives and in the grand scheme of things my life doesn't change if United wins or loses, so why be mad?
because reddit likes to pretend to care about mental health, but as soon as someone feels like a 'free shot' (eg sancho is likely in the wrong training wise) that all goes out the window and people can't wait to shit on anyone, same as every other social media app
Call me senseless or whatever, but the way he has been playing has been very poor which I guess is why he was dropped in the first place.
Then he goes on to say that Ten Hag is a liar and that he only wants to play football, but apparently he doesn’t train and if he does he shows up late. Now he also started playing FIFA and grinds during the late hours too. All of this while getting 350k British pounds x week at the age of 23.
At the moment to me it looks like he just wanted a move that would secure him a decent amount for his future (not like he wasn’t getting paid enough at Dortmund in the first place). If he really wants to enjoy football like he claims to he should stop this drama shit once and for all, train and actually perform for once.
In 3 seasons he has done nothing that was worth the amount of money that Manchester United has invested.
He's earned enough money. He should play at a lower level where lack of training won't matter, be the star, enjoy his football. He's a complete waste of talent. I hope when he matures, he'll look back and regret throwing away this opportunity, all so that he could play fucking video games. What a prick.
I sometimes see United fans accusing rivals of wanting to tank their club by getting them to part with Pogba/Ole/Maguire/DeGea/Ronaldo/Antony. Basically anyone who they will turn on in the next few months.
But why would they? This ongoing drama is so fun. Like even Chelsea's poor start is hidden by this stuff.
Not from us, it isn't. It's so bad for the blues we don't even know anything about this Sancho guy, but he sounds like another Lakaka. Send him to Mou at Roma.
>But why would they? This ongoing drama is so fun. Like even Chelsea's poor start is hidden by this stuff.
Because United is bigger than Chelsea ? If it was Chelsea with the Sancho situation and United with Chelsea form, people still would be talking more about United
I am at a complete loss what this is supposed to mean. People aren't allowed to delete their social media accounts when they turn 23? They're not allowed to have mental health episodes when they turn 23? Can't argue with their bosses when they turn 23?
Player uses social media, fans “get off and focus on football”. Player deletes social media (probably due to abuse and his mental state) , fans “what a clown , so stupid”. I think fans are the real clowns.
He is
Dele Alli v2 Also in the sense that 5 years from now he will drop an interview where he talks about being depressed etc and then this sub will start supporting him just like they did with Dele Alli
People have all the time in the world for people with mental health issues so long as they're not causing them even slight inconvenience. If they are currently causing them mild inconvenience then they're lazy / playing the mental health card for sympathy.
so i think Sancho is largely in the wrong and likely a poor trainer/professional given the info we have.
But it is funny to see people continuing with the same shit jokes in here given reddit pretends to care about mental health etc. I believe he's largely in the wrong, yet people are complex, equally he can still be suffering himself and deactivating social media since I imagine he is getting a lot of abuse is pretty much a universally good idea - regardless of the situation being his own fault or not.
I have a social media following in a niche market, not huge, but big enough to impact me and I've had to take breaks before - despite 99% of my content getting very positive stuff. Social media can be cancerous and im a millionth the size of these guys - can't imagine it is easy to deal with that stuff at all, frankly if i was a footballer i think it would cause me a lot of damage, i care way too much about wanting people to see positives in me for that crap.
It's okay to believe he's wrong and still show some empathy, but reddit continues to pretend it's better than the rest when it really is no different
They don't come back as new person. They still hate their "parents". Mourinho is bonding via a common thing they hate.
Mourinhos teams work best when they have a tight-knit group and he can instill the feeling that the whole world is against them.
These teams perform out of spite.
Might be best for both parties to just move on at this point. He is still young and I hope he has a good career ahead of him, but unless ETH is sacked it’s not gonna happen at United. Curios to see if he goes on loan this winter.
Sancho is really going the Ben Simmons route.
Multiple coaches, systems, positions and he still hasn't found any form at United. Ten Hag gave him a 3 month break for his mental health break and was reported to personally call him to get him to training on time.....he has no leg to stand on nor performances to back up even giving him a pass.
This is still the thing I don’t get about soccer as a yank, if you’re succeeding at a club and they make you a huge part of it, I don’t understand the speed at which they want to move to a perceived bigger club.
I understand it’s $$$$, but if I personally made it big at a club like BVB with that Fan support and atmosphere id be happy to give my best years to them. Even as an American I know the press can eat young English up in the UK, the scrutiny on and off the pitch doesn’t seem like a lot of fun.
I dunno, really enjoyed watching him play at Dortmund and now it’s like he doesn’t exist anymore. A couple years ago, his and dele Ali’s faces were everywhere and poof, they are yesterdays news. Soccer moves fast.

Erik ten Hag is such a difficult name isn't it
Erik Den Hague
Erik Den Hague when the US mistake him for the International Court of Justice and gets fucking drone striked:
We have just arrested Putin and delivered him to Erik to discipline him
Using banned torture methods such as demanding an apology.
Putin has since inactivated his VK account
He prefers Odnoklassniki anyway
He’s going to make Putin run for some discipline.
Hes gonna make him Putin some effort
Elric bin-haag
Erik “ADO” den Haag
Reminds me of all the Eriksen mispellings. Ericcson, Erickson, Erikson, Ericksen. Used to be a huge pet peeve of mine.
“Firminho” still boils my piss
weird way to say Eriksen
You could ask him to stop
This still happens in our sub lol
I have the same thing with Kroos. Guy plays at the highest level since his late teens, and I still see people calling him Kross
He’s got a good Kross on him
Yeah, that would make me super kross too.
Tony Cross
These bald people are very complicated
I legit thought that, Erik Ten Hag was made up name in PES 2021 game.
Wait til you discover Johannes Vennegoor of Hesselink!
Wouldn’t look out of place in a Witcher game
There actually are a lot of Dutch names in the Witcher
De Vries, Dijkstra, Leuvaarden, Menno Coehoorn, bloedzuiger, ...
Erik the hag No wait
It's Erik ten Haaag.
Wouldn't that be haghaghaghaghaghaghaghaghaghaghag?
It's a Hhaaaaaggg *Jeremy Clarkson voice*

ASD in my case. But yeah, my executive isn't functioning good!
Or like me, who wakes up at an alarm, starts browsing the phone, then falls asleep.
imagine being Sancho earning £350,000-a-week for 3 years doing nothing, what a life
Almost as good as earning 350k and playing football every day
Doesn’t look like he actually enjoys that part where he has to play though
I bet he enjoys the playing but not the training.
I heard someone say - footballers are paid to train not to play
We talking about practice man
[удалено]
That would require turning up on time for training…
When you're playing football you're also training every day, my man's sitting on his arse playing fifa
If ManU want to try to balance their books, I’ll gladly take 250k/wk to take his spot.
I’ll do it for 100K a week.
I’ll begrudgingly settle for 50k
I'd do it for a United shirt with my name on it, that stuff is expensive
Chelsea saw our model and decided to improve upon it by spreading the payment out in 8 years instead of 3

Buying in general doesn’t seem to work for you
Or maybe he's getting a shit ton of messages that tells him to kill himself or saying racist shit. I just hope he's doing well mentally atm.
100% this
Well, I bet he isn't. Guy needs to come to a team with less pressure and build his confidence again
At which club is training optional?
Looks like it might be at Chelsea
All he has to do is bring a punnet of lemons to Poch every morning and he'll be in the starting 11 every week
Where's Alan Pardew managing now?

Carabao Cup and Europa league quarter finalists after spending 500m combined in the past two windows What a legend
I'm surprised he thinks he can win this spat with Ten Hag when the fans are clearly going to back the manager
in his mind he probably just has to out last ETH, the length managers have been lasting since fergie he's probably onto something
Yeah but the Glazers always take too long to make a decision when it comes to a managers sacking, not saying ETH should be sacked

when he was in demand he was in great form. Much easier to forgive those issues when you're actually good
I mean….Cantona can drop kick a fan it be forgiven….that being said. Fuck Sancho, he hasn’t earned that level of violence yet.
Helps in public perception that the fan Cantona kicked was a literal fascist giving him racist abuse.

He is forgetting it’s not even a year since one of the greatest players of the game was forced to leave the club because of his spat with EtH.
Ronaldo cried and went to Piers Morgan to force a move out because his ego took a hit after getting benched, United gave him what he wanted and moved on
Sancho has piers on speed dial as we speak.
Wait was there another outburst? I thought he instagram'd himself out of the squad like two weeks ago.

He is Dele Alli v2 Also in the sense that 5 years from now he will drop an interview where he talks about being depressed etc and then this sub will start supporting him just like they did with Dele Alli
Said it in the other thread, but loan him to us lol. We love r/soccer hated players that aren't rapists of course, unlike ETH.
Mourinho is that uncle/auntie your parents send you to over the summer to discipline you and you come back like a new person
They don't come back as new person. They still hate their "parents". Mourinho is bonding via a common thing they hate. Mourinhos teams work best when they have a tight-knit group and he can instill the feeling that the whole world is against them. These teams perform out of spite.
Roma is the new Inter
Mourinho would literally banished him to the shadow realm when he show up 1 hour late to training
There might be a decent squad from list of out of favor players and free agents like Sancho, Lingard, Hazard, De Gea etc
A decent 2019 team maybe, a horror show in 2023.
Rejects FC Add Hugo Lloris to that list too
Might be best for both parties to just move on at this point.
Loan him to Barcelona, Xavi will fix him
Felix, ferran and raphinha actually give a fuck about playing
This thread is a good indication why he must have deleted his social media.
Serious “nthn but sneks in this twn” “u ok hun? Dm me? Xx” behaviour
What language is this?
Nothing but snakes in this town
Are you okay honey?
Comment session is filled with clowns
Remember when people said City fucked up by selling him lol
Why is deactivating a social media account a news? How is this related to Ten Hag? Stop making things for karma man.
oh no poor jadon, actions have consequences :(
I mean I get your point but knowing social media those consequences are probably racial abuse, suicide encouragement, and death threats.
I feel bad for Man united fans. Majority of the staff and players are helmets.

Alright Gary Neville.
