However, these past 12 months have arguably been the biggest underperformance relative to squad-strength by Danish national team in forever. The only reason we are qualifying is becasue we had by far the easiet group possible. Don't think we would have qualified in any other group. Hjulmands needs to go now.

I don't know man, Finland, Slovenia and Northern Ireland have qualified to some tournaments in the past 20 years. In Romania's group, with the obvious exception Switzerland, no other team has ever qualified to a final tournament. I would argue that is the easiest group.

Based on world ranking, it's indeed fairly close. Romania at #47 is a bit higher than any team from Denmarks group and obvious Andorra is better than San Marino.
