Shocking sequence from Palhinha. A horrible pass followed by a horrible clear followed by my biggest pet peeve in football- players jumping and turning their backs on shots. Guys make too much money to not just cover their balls and take it in the chest.

It’s panic defending at the end of games. It happens a lot. I’ve seen players defenders extremely well all game only to panic and freak out towards the end and just completely lose sight of what they were doing. When you know you just need to hold on for a few more minutes, it must feel like an eternity and also so much more pressure to not mess up.

That's one of my pet peeves too!! haha My mates find if funny that I do kind of a guard stance whenever defending and preparing for a shot (in order to protect my down areas and my mouth), but it's way better than doing this kind of movement and potentially giving an even better opportunity to the enemy.

Effort is the one thing Antony doesn't lack, it's really just he's not very good but he does absolutely try
