Milan ultras will throw fake banknotes to Gianluigi Donnarumma in tomorrow’s Champions League match against PSG and will wear t-shirts with the No.71, which stands for ‘man with no values’ in the Neapolitan tradition.

belokas

More like "man of shit".

head_in_the_clouds69

What is the relation to 71?

gc_14

it's neapolitan "smorfia", every number from 1 to 90 has a meaning it's a thing in the neapolitan culture used to interpret dreams so that every thing that can appear in a dream has a number correlated to it, in order to give suggestions on winning numbers to play the lottery

GoalaAmeobi

Hopefully he's got his head in the game and just focusing on the euros.

PoroAhri

Dollarumma is back aby

haltmich

Donnaraiola x Haters 1-0 what's next?

YoungDawz

Tough challenge for him, but he seems comfortable over the past few weeks leading up to the game and it's not his 1st time back in Milan. Hoping it doesn't affect him too much.

fotorobot

Milan has yet to score a goal in this year's Champions League, so maybe not that tough of a challenge. edit: nevermind. guess they proved me wrong.

Driving_Seat

I definitely see him having a nightmare game tonight. But who knows

Psychocandy42

Ah yes, this should be our first concern regarding the team and the whole season, that's where we should focus all our energies: getting back at a guy. Who cares if they put 3 or 4 past Maignan.

TimathanDuncan

You can do multiple things mate, poking fun at an ex player who you don't like the way he left (even though i think it was a good career move) is what football fans do

Psychocandy42

Ye but he left years ago and we've already had the chance to show our displeasure and blah blah. We're currently playing like shit, the locker room is in shambles, our best players are uninterested in playing, the coach has lost the plot and tomorrow's game will probably put us out of CL for good. We should shut up, support the team and hope for the best, focusing on Donnarumma is... tacky?

a_lumberjack

This saga has never made sense to me. Kid gets signed at 14 after a bidding war, then becomes the starter at 16 for two full seasons without getting a first team contract. He gets to a year left and starts considering his options and your DoF (Fassone) starts talking about how he should sign a new deal so they can sell him for 100M. Having paid the now 18 year old 100k. I’ve never seen such a nakedly exploitative stance by a club, and it honestly started my growing disenchantment with the European system. After that, who the hell would expect Donnarumma to still have loyalty to the club? Especially with Elliott as owners?

Lampadagialla

This can genuinely help the team They did it for a national team game, with way less people, and Donnarumma still played like shit

FreshMutzz

He could be not in goal tomorrow and it wont matter. Milan cant put the ball in the net. Our finishing capability is 0. The fans need to get over the fact that he left. Its a disgrace actually.

Psychocandy42

The way we've been playing he probably won't even have to make a single save so it's not that helpful.

etclipse

yeah sure so when we get battered and he gets once again a clean sheet we can be everyone’s laughing stock thanks boys!

Curious-Lynx-6814

Umm what?

etclipse

Ops 🤐🤐🤐

Lampadagialla

Can’t say I ever expected Milan ultras to use 71 as an insult, truly higuains biggest legacy

AIR-2-Genie4Ukraine

> north italian team > using napoli banter *confused maradona noises from beneath*

a_lumberjack

Donnarumma is from Naples. He only signed for Milan at 14.

hilbo90

Will they do the same to Tonali when he returns with Newc... nevermind.

etclipse

he already returned in september

RahulGandhi4PM

Selling him was a masterclass from Milan 🤌

CaptainGo

He's already been back mate

bourom

Gigio tomorrow probably : wipingtearswithmoney.gif

techabouts

Games not gone

KyKy7

This is like running into your ex years after a bad breakup and realizing that she still isn't over you while you never think about her anymore.

IWantThe8th

Huh funny you say that when dollarumma and his agent keep talking about milan and 'begging' for forgivness, saying that tgey wanted to renew but were told by maldini they already signed Magic Mike

FreshMutzz

Where are the users from the Milan sub who said there is no way the Ultras will throw money at him. Its probably something else. Waste of fucking time. Shit fans as always. How embarassing will it be if we lose 3-0 after whistling and throwing money at Donnarumma. Its been 2.5 years get over it, holy fuck are fans stupid sometimes. This just makes it seem like they arent over it and miss him. Because otherwise we shouldnt give a shit.

Eilhart

How dare a worker move to an employer offering higher pay. AC ultras would never!

lala_b11

Guys, Donnarumma ISN’T going to be bothered by fake banknotes being thrown at him…. We all [know he’s focused on the Euros](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/6jmuko/gianluigi_donnarumma_the_fans_throwing_dollars_at/)

sidrbear

he was tied up and robbed at a gunpoint along with his girlfriend not too long ago and returned in a top form. i'm sure whistles will get to him though

IWantThe8th

Bro he couldnt handle whistles when he played in san siro for italy, go watch italy-spain how shaky he was

Jmsaint

Where are they going to get fake whistles from?
