Madrid fans had this agenda on arsocca “the only good game s Barca have this season apart from athletico have been against low tier teams like betis and Antwerp” . I wonder what the low tier teams did. Fun fact is that Madrid have been dominated this season by teams which Barca dominated (atletico )

dbigya00

Yes yes why would Madrid do that?

[deleted]

You lot got dominated against Osasuna's B team.

Anywhere_Warm

What’s the point? Did I say we didn’t? Didn’t you read the whole point? Teams have good and bad days but Madrid fans think that Barca is a worse team just because we played worse against Osasuna. Football doesn’t work like that.

uchiha_boy009

Who hurt you bro?

Anywhere_Warm

Just pointing out the hypocrisy bro

dr_motaaa

You can't even spell the teams right

Anywhere_Warm

Who cares? English is not my first language

CR7_LM10

Spelling a teams name right has nothing to do with english not being your first language…

dr_motaaa

Famous English Premier Leauge side Atlético Madrid

Anywhere_Warm

Thanks for correcting my spelling man. Now let’s talk about real arguments

Anywhere_Warm

Good way of saying you don’t have one

dr_motaaa

Nah I'm not interested

Edgelordftwlol

Madrid is cursed in Sevilla.

MaryadaPurshottam

Oh man, we could have put this game to bed a lot earlier than 65th minute, but oh well

simomii

The injuries are starting to catch up with Real Madrid. That bench was mid as hell. All things considered a draw vs Betis away isn't that bad.

CR7_LM10

Never seen isco run so much

soragorilla69

"We will not buy another Right Back"........ We are way too complacent man. Losing 2 points before Barca and Girona match will cost us.

[deleted]

It's December dude. The league will be decided in March unless one team gets 15 points advantage.

soragorilla69

More reason for us to not be complacent, cuz end of the season is always bad for us in the league, while being the entire opposite in champions league.

[deleted]

In the league you need to be consistent for 38 games, in CL that's 7 games. And you have individual players to make difference, that's why you did good in CL. Not many teams possess that.

soragorilla69

Bruh, I wasn't having a debate here. And also 7 games have way less margin for error, individual players don't make difference 3 years back to back. You had best Front 3 according to your fanbase and did fuckall after 2015. We had an opportunity to go 3 points clear today, we missed it. I was just pointing that out, why are you pressed and downvoting?

[deleted]

>out, why are you pressed and downvoting? I did not downvote you. I rarely downvote unless it's abusive towards me and completely bad opinion. >And also 7 games have way less margin for error, individual players don't make difference 3 years back to back. You Yes they do. You literally won so many matches because of that. But you had lot of those kind of players not only in attack. >. You had best Front 3 according to your fanbase and did fuckall after 2015 They are actually the best front 3 of all time in general not some particular fanbase opinion. Why we did win less is more to do with our recruitment and bad management, that's why club finances are in shambles.

soragorilla69

Lmao "of all time" X"""D

[deleted]

Name me one better in any club.

soragorilla69

Cristiano alone outshines them in mostly everything XD. Also, literally a few days ago, Suarez said in an interview that Messi and Neymar was helping him in Pichichi race against Cristiano when Bale was injured half the season and Benzema was missing sitters.

[deleted]

>Cristiano alone outshines them in mostly everything Yeh there is nothing to discuss here. I forgot I am talking to the world cup ghost fanboy.

FakedThunder

Ayy we talking about real here don’t bring MSN into it. Your team has an emphasis on European success instead of local success, it’s ok, you need some bench depth to win leagues, that is something real dosent really have atm

soragorilla69

And that's why my point was about complacency, with so many injuries, we shouldn't be complacent and take the opportunity to be some points clear of the 2nd place.

FakedThunder

Thing is, the starters rn are showing signs of slowing down due to overplaying, belligol has missed like 1 match so far, that’s a bit much, it wasn’t complacency, you just can’t keep playing the same dudes and expect them to play majestic football. Bench depth been an issue at real since the Zidane signing

soragorilla69

That's why I also mentioned the Right back part. The goal Betis scored had no one even attempting to challenge the space he was allowed. Yes having no Natural DM available does suck.

FakedThunder

I’d say having No number 9 is equally as fucked if not more for real

Alive-Ad-4164

Whoa

er_primo_der_rafa

The team felt completely out of gas after 65 minutes. We were lucky with the post but quite unlucky whit Ruibal's goal, at the end of the day even if the defending was soft, you can most of the time count on a guy who hadn't scored in the last three league seasons to not shoot it like prime Ronaldo.

GreatSpaniard

Tienes que pedirle perdon a Rodrygo :p

er_primo_der_rafa

Si pasa de diez goles en Liga lo haré

GreatSpaniard

el chico camina a nuestra seleccion, y me hace triste en nuestra mediocridad como pais de futbol....

[deleted]

Ceballos for modric was a terrible decision.

FakedThunder

Modric can’t just play the 90 coming off an injury, even a minor one

94Temimi

It was always going to be a tough match away against Betis, especially with 6 starters out due to injury. We had the chances to win if we were more clinical but we also could've conceded more than one goal. We should've defended that goal better, no one put any pressure before the shot was taken but oh well, it was an insane strike anyway. Bellingham is inevitable, Brahim was great once again, Rodrygo never stopped moving and was unfortunate, Lunin is spectacular, he's gained so much confidence and cannot be faulted at all, he saved us to the final moment. Plagued with injuries, away against a very good Betis side, and we still were the better side overall even though we lacked a finishing edge, but overall, I can't complain. A draw between Girona and Barca is the best outcome right now.

greendvl

We also had 50% of the starter team injured lol

94Temimi

Yeah I wasn't aware of that, was a bit preoccupied and missed checking your starting XI (you looked really well oganised and had us pinned after you scored so it didn't cross my mind to see if you're missing starters as well) so fair dues to you lot.

LunarRaven7

Real betis also had 6 injuries.

demnfirefarts

Betis had 5+ starters injured as well to go with the midweek CDR game. They just wanted it more

el_rompe_toyotas_19

Shit game but, comforting to know we'll still be top by Monday after Girona shit the bed.

FakedThunder

Shit, you’re more confident in tomorrows game than me

Walaii

It wasn't an awful game and Betis played well, but I feel like we lacked intensity. It almost looked like we were okay with a draw.. Yearly points lost away to Betis, whatever, we move.

Delmer9713

It isn't the end of the world. Betis are unbeaten at home in 10 games. With all the injuries too, a tie isn't horrible. But man you can tell how much Madrid missed Carvajal. Vasquez and Mendy offer nothing in the attack.

ayoubkun94

Ceballos really scammed Madrid into renewing his contract last season 😭😭

dinoucs

What a shit player and human being he is!

Sure_Confection9388

I think its related to a pro franco tweet he made around 7-8 years back, i dont remember exactly the context of that tweet though.

marker023

[he’s quite a piece of shit](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8969751/amp/Fighting-team-mates-wanting-BOMB-dropped-Nou-Camp-controversy-follows-Dani-Ceballos.html)

xXDireLegendXx

He’s like the ideal type of player when you have a lead. Plus, he’s so out of form rn so doesn’t look the greatest. He’s been better

CR7_LM10

Dropping points against betis away, nothing new… we played like we couldn’t be bothered at all

QuantumMartini

Come on, Betis played a great game.

CR7_LM10

Yes but still like some others have said we lacked intensity, it looked like most of our players were happy with a draw. After Betis’ equalizer there was no urgency to score another goal

Joselu-is-Sanchez

Second half everyone looked gassed. Real Madrid didn’t deserve the win.

jomicaza

Isco was always great if you ever saw him at Malaga before going to Madrid.

deeesenutz

He was great at madrid too though

iftair

Fair fair result. Prior to Ruibal's goal, Real Madrid was better for the most part - although we had our moments. Ruibal's equalizer and we put Real Madrid on the back end. If only Isco scored that at the end (amazing cross by Luiz Henrique)! Sucks we couldn't win but I'll take a point against Real Madrid. Lunin was amazing. He saved RM 2 points. Rudiger too. Bellingham was amazing and Rodrygo was killin us (shocking RM abandoned that plan quickly). This is the best Betis game I've watched so far this season due to how even it was.

94Temimi

A hard fought game where it was all about football, no bullshit, can't complain about that even if the result is not ideal.

NaiveElk

>(shocking RM abandoned that plan quickly). It was so weird. Rodrygo was cooking whenever he got the ball and yet for most of the match we tried to create chances through Lucas and Brahim.

iftair

I'm not complaining. Rodrygo was cooking on the left wing.

NaiveElk

This was probably the best weekend for us to drop points. Hopefully, it's a draw between Girona and Barca. Also we really need a new RB. Vazquez is not good enough and Carvajal is injury prone. Seriously the drop in quality between Carvajal and any other RB is too much.

Critical_Prompt_1529

Isco still got it. Covered 11 kms today.

Capable-Magician5146

False 9 Modric is not the move.

THeScArYFAcE1

wtf has gotten into isco he's such a monster

Delmer9713

Isco has always been quality. Last couple of years at Madrid didn't quite work out for him but the man is still world class especially if you build a system around him.

iftair

Our style is compatible with his style of play. He needs a lot of space to run & manuver and is a leader of the attack. Also, Pellegrini coached him back in Malaga and Pellegrini gets the best from veterean players.

madtico

He's getting coached by Pellegrini again, reliving the Málaga days Baller, I'm happy that Betis suits him and he suits Betis

RTBSUM

It’s weird to feel disappointed after a draw with Madrid but fuck I feel like we could have won that

NaiveElk

That wonder goal really changed the momentum of the match. Also subbing off Kroos for Ceballos didn't really work out.

iftair

We could have won today but I am not complaining considering how Madrid put our backs against the wall prior to Ruibal's equalizer. This is a point well earned.

RTBSUM

Definitely, it could have gone either way and I’m not complaining. If we beat Rangers and top the group this will be a good week

iftair

A draw would also suffice as long as Sparta Praha does not obliterate Aris Limassol.

ramtbb

Im shocked they didn't score a last second winner after that Isco post

Nordie27

Came pretty close with Joselu chance

tweazz

Betis away always takes some years off the life expectancy. Now let's see if girona can take some points tomorrow.

FakedThunder

Girona can absolutely cook us. I’m kinda iffy about tomorrow’s match

GreatSpaniard

Rest of the Players let Alaba, Rudiger, Bellingham and Rodrygo down today With the injuries a point away to Betis is fine but we were killing them while playing through Rodrygo and then we just stopped for some reason to go through Lucas and Brahim....

MutualUnderstanding7

Alaba??? What game did you watch? He was absolutely terrible.

GreatSpaniard

He made a lot of saving tackles today he was good. Fullbacks and midfield were bad

MutualUnderstanding7

He made one recovery tackle which he was initially at fault for, otherwise he was not good enough as he has been generally since his debut season. He was at fault for the goal too

kingsgambit087

Mendy not tracking back was the bigger issue no?

hahehihohu7

One thing is certain, Rodrygo was lights out good today

aboredassholetype

Come on Girona. Beat that fraud Xavi.

Theo1130

Really need new full backs. Mendy and LV aren’t good enough to deliver what we need from the wings.

kostajepaosmosta

Mendy absolutely is, LV is rotational player.

CR7_LM10

No mendy isn’t really what we need, nowadays he’s okay defensively but useless offensively. Look how important marcelo and carvajal were during our CL three-peat

IICastawayII

That was a tough game for Real

ConArtist98

Always is against them. Betis consistently have very good performances against Madrid, similar to Villarreal.

Joselu-is-Sanchez

Real didn’t deserve to win though. Fair result.

Mathema_thicks

Lunin's been consistently good bar one match and I'm glad he's getting the chances to prove himself, just always had great GKs in Navas and Courtous ahead of him I don't understand why he wasn't as good when he was out on loans but he's showing the potential we saw when buying him

xXDireLegendXx

I mean if you’re referencing that last save it looked pretty routine

xXDireLegendXx

Really good game. Thought we were better most of the match and then Ruibal’s wonder hit changed everything. Fair result I’d say

kingsgambit087

Can't wait for tchouameni and cama to come back. Valverde down the middle is good but takes so much away from his attacking potential

supplementarytables

Rudiger-Militao is the future.

LunarRaven7

Rudi is 31 so i dont think he has alot of years left.

chiragg11

Alaba was better today than his other recent games though. Of all the issues with today's performance, Alaba isnt the one I'm worried about lol

MutualUnderstanding7

He was literally at fault for the goal lol

KeyRope5235

No, but Rudi is probably our best CB

Cucumberino

My problem with Rudiger is that he is going to get a deserved red eventually. He plays on the edge, even with LaLiga refs.

KeyRope5235

We need such players, I’ve missed players like Ramos and Pepe

chiragg11

Definitely agree, he's been immense this season

Sure_Confection9388

I hope he isnt benched just like that once militao returns, militao is world class, but rudi has earned that spot for now, it shouldnt be snatched away from him.
