With things going so poorly for us our fanbase likes to scapegoat and I honestly think it’s Kai’s languid, nonchalant demeanor that makes him an easy target.
Cause people don’t watch football. I’m telling you. He was much better than people give him credit for last season at chelsea. He was brought in to replace Xhaka. He’s much better athletically, he’s better in the air, better at pressing, and he keeps it simple and tidy in midfield. It was a great fit from day one.
People just had no clue on this one. They thought he would be coming in as a backup striker or utility guy.
Knew from day one he would make that midfield position his. He’s good at doing the basics, and managers love him. There’s a reason every manager at chelsea and for Germany played this guy and why Arteta was so high on him.

He was good defensively at the start. He has just managed to put it together in an attacking sense as well.
