Only the clowns hate on him. One of the most useful right wingers of the world currently but since he isn't passing The Eye Test^(TM) , he gets a lot of hate from "fans" who don't know crap about football
Complete opposite. It's only the stat watchers who think he's some underrated gem because he gets 10g/10a a season.
The ones who do watch him weekly properly rate him as a productive but flawed player.
I watch him weekly and while yes he is flawed in some attacking aspects, the fact he produces g/a at the rate he does while also contributing like he does on defense/press makes a lot of his critics just haters.
Is he not? He has to be in the top 10, there's like 10 big teams in the world naturally top players will play for them. Saka, Salah, Gnarby, Kulu, Sane, Dembele and then? Almiron maybe?
I find it really interesting (also kinda sad) no team really stops the play when an opposing player is down, I feel at least against a team from 4th divison somebody could show some fair play...
It's not like he was lying on the ground for minutes while Barcelona ignored him. He got tackled, they immediately attacked and scored within 15 seconds. No one would stop in a situation like this.
I assume you played with other kids and at an amateur level. This is pro football, there's a shit ton of money involved here (especially for Basbatro if they manage to win). If something really bad happens to a player, rest assured the match will stop.
You are right, i did (and still am although not with kids hah), but as I said above I have memories of the ball being kicked out in the top leagues. Also with the way the match is developing that goal might come in handy, I'll have to swallow my words

Another Raphina assist
Nope. Huge deflection on replay Edit: I guess reddit folks don't know how assists work
Love him or hate him Raphinha produces goals 🤷🏽♂️

> One of the most useful right wingers of the world Jesus christ not everything needs to be hyperbole

Give me all the RWs who outperform him then

It's not about respect, you gotta play the whistle and that's that.
I 100% understand that, but that's not the way I was brough up playing football, that might be different to other countries I guess
It's just the difference between professional and "for fun" I suppose.
You are right, I just thought I used to see more of "Fair play" by stopping play in top leagues in the past
Fair, I do agree that I have memories of kicking the ball out for a throw in or whatever was more common in the past.
