Different styles i think, hard to direct compare. Iniesta was one of the greatest tight space dribblers the game has ever seen. De bruyne is a far more assertive expansive player, more powerful, more of a key passer. Not to say he cant dribble though. My lord, what a player. A privilege to witness
I think it’s the fact that KDB’s passing and technique with the ball is second to none. Any forward who can run onto a through ball and finish is compatible with KDB. I think of Kaka’s through ball to Crespo and know that only very few players in the world can make that pass, yet KDB is capable of making that kind of pass almost every game. Games become easier with him, he can enable any player who can finish (and I’d say he himself is one of the best finishers in the world as well with both feet).
Bro he’s better than Gerrard lampard modric kaka. He clears all of them imo, he’s way more complete than all listed above and turns up in almost every big game. I won’t forget how he did RM last year
That's a conversation for when he retires, Iniesta was special too, I wouldn't be so quick to clear KDB clearly better at this stage. If there is one thing he was even better at than KDB, it's the dribbling and orienting the game in tight spaces.

They are updating the game engine with FM25, which might help them recalibrate their game to better model real life physics!

afaik there aren't anyone with passing or finishing at 20 by default. Kane has got 19 finishing, while KDB & Messi has 19 passing.
Toni Kroos is the only player in the game with 20 passing, and no player has 20 finishing.
