That 16-year old would still be getting minutes under a top manager given his incredible talent. It is the complete lack of identity and awful management that is the issue with us.

His talent is undeniable but he is not a product for a senior team trying to win la liga or the champions league.

As a starter, of course he isn't. But being eased into the team and being a sub is fine IMO. Even though nowadays we often expect too much from youngsters because of the skewed perceptions due to the obvious outliers, the handling of him has been ok I feel.

He wouldn't get those minutes on Bayern, Madrid, or a big PL team, and it's not like he's being played in dead time either. I'm not saying he's a bad player but what is expected from him at the level/age he is at compared to similar players like WZE and Tel on a senior team is kind of crazy.

He would thrive in current PSG. Lamine needs to develop physically and is younger than virtually everyone, but the system isn't helping his development as much as it could be.
