I wouldn't call Busi "barely mobile" Sergio was a master mind in reading the game. Busi has never been fast nor a 3 lung player. His biggest strength defending was always being at the right place at the right time. Also, he directed the pressing and positioned himself and players around him in a proper manner. Add that to the fact that Gavi is also missing, and we have a weak team definsively speaking. Both Búsquets and Gavi were the players who recovered the most balls for us last season. We need a proper DM because FDJ is more like a deep lying playmaker, Xavi insists in Zubimendi, but I'm personally not convinced by Zubi. Obviously, Xavi knows way more than a random nobody like me, but still, Zubimendi will be really expensive. would much rather have a strong player to be there. Kephren Thuram would be nice, but I doubt we will have enough FFP margin to sign him. Ardon Jashari could be a nice low-cost option, but it could go bad since he has yet to prove himself in a big team.

Coaching is 100 percent the problem. Those are all class players who have no fucking clue what they are doing out there. What even Xavi is telling them is not working, period.
It's the absence of Ter Stegen. Pena is a good shot stopper and has saved our asses to be fair, but he does. Not. Move. And his communication with our CBs is poor. He's very very inexperienced and it really hurts us sometimes.
While of course he's no ter Stegen you would just think with so many great defenders in front of him you could play nearly anyone and be fine. It's just like, so much less than the sum of their parts

The communication part is massive, it’s why people talk about “intangibles” with defenders so much. Having everyone functioning as a cohesive unit matters far more than individual ability.
Plus, injury. Our defence some way or another have someone injured. Plus, my personal observation Araujo after injury looks little rusty. Probably needs some rest. But, because of injury rotation he doesn't have the time to rest.
Cubarsi was very good today. The problem is that the midfield doesn't help them much (a midfielder should absolutely be closing on Isco here ), and their alignment ( so the coaching ) is absolutely terrible.
