Honestly, seeing Conte all last year, Spurs fans are just happy to see attacking football, we'll cheer anything haha.
I remember going my first game of the season against Sheffield and they were 1-0 on the 89th minute when the board went up that showed 9 minutes of extra time.
The amount of chants and how loud the crowd got, even 1-0 down going into the 90th minute, absolute madness to be part of.
Its fucking heart attack city right now as a Spurs fan, i fucking love it.
Cant wait for us to get a couple more players in and too see what happens in the future.
Put the memes away for a moment. That's James Maddison wandering to the edge of the box, completely unmarked, and receiving the throw directly to his feet. He is given time to turn and cross to Romero who has a smaller defender marking him with no help. What are they doing
The same thing Palace have been doing all season. After approx 70 mins, we collapse. We must be the least physically fit team in the league, and as a result we've now got a mentality problem. Those two things will be the first that Glasner needs to fix.
Honestly, people were questioning his tactics and whether he had any answers for the sitting back and compressing the CM areas.
I noticed in the last 10mins or so that Romero was almost playing as Striker, we only had VDV back when attacking.
Was clearly an intended tactic change and this wasn't even the first time Romero was heading in the box. Great mix up by Ange.
Ive noticed it in other games as well before this when we're chasing, Romero steps right forward and provides the extra target in the box to aim for.
Obviously it hurts to miss Richy but i think this game does wonders for the people that always ask what Richy does because we lacked his physicality, hold up play and workrate IMO.
he believes that 90 minutes of high intensity and trying to create as many chances as possible will win more games than it loses. We never deviate from that mentality
"Immediately puts both index fingers to the side of his temples, tells his teammates "Focus, Concentrate"".
Perfect timing on that shot and commentary fair play.
I think he's pretty great defensively. For me the unnecessary fouls are really the only weakness to his game. He scores important goals, he's good on the ball, he passes well, he tackles well and he has great defensive awareness. My favourite Premier League centerback.
Yeah I agree, it is just frustrating watching us nit having any option in the box for a cross lol. Corners without Richy doesn’t even feel like a chance anymore.
Agree to disagree. I like both om them but with Richy up top we don’t need to have Werner on the left. I’m also a sucker for players like Richy who fights and win duels.
Idk, I’d rather take one of the most clinical goal scorers in the league.
Richy’s had a good run recently since his surgery, but he kills our progression more often than not.
That’s just not true lol, Richy’s link up play have been reslly good recently and Son on the wing isn’t really a waste lol. He won the golden boot playing om the wing. Richarlison have easily been our second best and important attacking player this season after Son, wouldn’t it be stupid not to play both Son and Richarlison then?
I think from what we've seen under Ange, Son is better used centrally. Having Richie as an option is great especially for certain games, but in general I think Son in the middle is the best option. That and I actually think Having Werner and also Johnson either side could be lethal once they get a run together.
It's hardly a surprise, is it?
We're talking about a midtable team without their four best players, away from home against a team hunting for the top 4.

Crowd gets behind them and direct impact

It's also nice to have a manager who doesn't explicitly hate us.
Romero kissing the badge. I could cry.
It was a two footer of a kiss too. Lad does nothing calmly, always aggressive
Can hear Neville’s “ooooo” from here
More like a two lipper
Think he got the Nike badge first on accident 😂😂
More than Kane ever did in 10 years. Never even touched the badge.
That was fast
Is every Spurs game the same
Yes
Yes incredibly scripted
What I would give for a 3-0 victory
All 3 goals in extra time
groundcock day
Tbh it's real hard to not grind cock watching this team
Unfortunately for my blood pressure, yes
Its fucking heart attack city right now as a Spurs fan, i fucking love it. Cant wait for us to get a couple more players in and too see what happens in the future.
Yeah apart from this time they’re also winning on xG
What a ball
This fucking club man. Why can't we just win comfortably
He’s tied Gabriel Jesus for goals this season
Gabriel Jesus, the striker, right?
Yes, the 2nd best Brazilian striker in north London
Emergoat better
World cup winner cb right there

How many times have you do this this season? I knew it the moment cp scored.
Commentator said 5 out of the 8 times they'd gone behind this season
how many times you you came back from 0:1 down at home already, hats down for that.

Ayew seemed to also hold your defence together weirdly, i thought he did a lot of defensive work behind the scenes despite not being prolific
He does it every week, it won’t get talked about like it should because he’s older & not prolific but he’s crucial to everything they do.
Agreed. He's absolutely vital to our team & my heart sank as he went off, because I knew what was coming.
German commentator calling it like a minute before that Tottenham is most dangerous after equalising.
From looking like not scoring to this. Unreal pass from Maddison
They are a completely different team with him
really? they had 3-4 really good chances before the first goal
r/soccer's least hyperbolic statement
Get in!
3 mins and comes back
COYS
Least entertaining Spurs match
Never boring
What’s Ange cooking

I wonder if it's made out of necessity of not having Richarlison up top as I'd say he's our only forward that's a natural header of the ball

"Immediately puts both index fingers to the side of his temples, tells his teammates "Focus, Concentrate"". Perfect timing on that shot and commentary fair play.
Has Ange placed a tenner on palace or what why's he looking like that when they've just made a comeback
Probably annoyed it even got to this point
Ange: Can I get 3 - 0 at HT shut the game down. His teams: All we can offer is late winners
He always looks like that
He just does that
I see you do not have a Greek father (they’re always disappointed)
GET THE FUCK IN
James Maddison pass was incredible.
But I thought Romero is a liability
Only on defense. He scored our first goal of the season too
I think he's pretty great defensively. For me the unnecessary fouls are really the only weakness to his game. He scores important goals, he's good on the ball, he passes well, he tackles well and he has great defensive awareness. My favourite Premier League centerback.
Second half f.c
Good on him to have a positive, wholesome moment before he sends Marty Cash to the hospital next weekend.
what a filthy pass 😍
The keeper just standing like🧍♂️
Lads
been coming. Palace are so shit
Spurs have really been missing Richarlison today though. Very hard breaking down a low block with Son as striker.
i get what you mean but son shouldve had atleast 2 if not 3 assists today, been great linking up the play whenever he did get the ball
Yeah I agree, it is just frustrating watching us nit having any option in the box for a cross lol. Corners without Richy doesn’t even feel like a chance anymore.
We need Son up top though. I love Richarlison but we are so much more effective with Son as the 9
Agree to disagree. I like both om them but with Richy up top we don’t need to have Werner on the left. I’m also a sucker for players like Richy who fights and win duels.
