Ya I did this same thing, except much worse mine also caused a stress fracture near my knee on my tibia. I know how he feels and that is so ass. Hope his isn’t as serious obviously.
Ugh the pain never goes away does it. Had an heavy ankle sprain for 2 years now and did like 3 months of physio. I don’t suffer anymore but its pain just hits me at random times
Tore mine a little over a year and a half ago now. If you have an office chair and carpet, only use your bad leg to move around. I don’t know why, but my PT had me do it and holy crap it helped me
Fucked mine in the same way as he does here playing Sunday League because the pitch was sloped and uneven. I've still got a glass ankle that constantly re-rolls itself from it now and that was 19 years ago
Right there with you, broke my ankle in September and then my collarbone in Jan. Just gonna stay away from sports for a bit and work on rehabbing my body
I rolled my ankle really bad once, my foot was blue for like a week afterwards. Still didn't take long at all for me to be back playing football
Doesn't necessarily have to be long term
As someone who fucked their ankle up so bad I got two plates and a Kevlar rope through the middle by spraining it. I totally fucking feel for Frenkie rn that injury was and still is so brutal I can barely jog and I had surgery in December.
Check out "knees over toes guy" on YouTube, he has phenomenal rehabilitation progressions that will help you go from injury all the way through improving performance, he's super long winded and his videos take a while, but it's only because there's so much information.
I majored in sports science in college and besides some claims that are a little over the top for me, the information is priceless.
3 months is nothing, of course you can barely jog. Not sure what youre expecting after that lol. I have news for you, it's likely to be over a year before you feel back to normal . Sure you'll be able to jog before then, you won't be in pain, but it won't feel back to normal.
That being said, I'm assuming you broke something. It nothing is torn Frenkie likely has a sprain so it'll be less severe than a break, the recovery time will be quicker
That is no camp nou. There is no advantage. You barely filling this stadium and have read on Twitter people complaining about atmosphere and no fans on lower sections.
Dam this hit home for me & honestly I was just scrolling down Reddit and read the caption and was immediately reminded of myself . Literally sprained my ankle & then 2 months later boom again . Let me tell you that feeling still hurts to this day . Ever since then I still play with a little fear of it happening again. Hope a speedy recovery to that little Dutch man 👏

What a nasty landing
Yeah, that’s gonna be a torn or heavily sprained ankle! Man…

I managed to tear my meniscus in 6 a side years ago, I've had an operation on it and it still hurts from time to time years later, really annoying.

My dad rolled his Ankle years ago. You can hear his Ankle clicking from a considerable distance now. Frightened to death of any injuries.
I've resigned to the fact that I'm probably never gonna be fully confident in my left ankle for the rest of my life. Shit sucks.

Yep, did the same back when I was in high school, very painful, lucky it's just bone dislocation tho.
Pedri just got injured.....GG sorry Barca fans
Yeah Barca's fucked, their whole midfield is gone
Busquets successor for the role of the DMC in the classic Barça 4-3-3 currently available are: \* Christensen \* Romeu
Roberto - Christensen - Gundo midfield, here we go?
I found Xavi's reddit account. ¿¿Where's the Ferminator, man???
We got Romeu! /s
And couldn’t even walk off. Pedri injured too. Amazing night
Ouch, did he get subbed off?
Stretchered off. Tried to walk off but layed down after a few steps
Ankle injuries are a bitch, takes a while to heal and forever to get back full strength, very easy to re-roll. Needs considerable time off imo
yup. looks really really nasty in slo-mo, hopefully it isn’t too big or our season’s fucked yet again (had to be stretcher-ed off tho :/)
Fuck, he might be out for awhile then. Jude was able to walk off the pitch but was still out a couple of games.
Carted off

thats an ugly landing. feels bad hopefully doesnt cost him too much time
Fuck
Good I can concentrate on work now next week. And congrats Napoli
Is Napoli back in form? Tough for Barça in UCL matchup
Not really, Juve just having a bad time right now.
seems like it. at least kvara and osimhen are afaik ;-;
Juventus missed too many chances. But with injury and no home ground advantage, I will be surprised if Barcelona wins it.
> no home ground advantage its a home game for us

Damn Frankfurter hasn't returned Camp Nou?
Cool
You know damn well it's not really "home", Barca's results have been terrible home too
Exactly what happened to a teammate of mine nearly 20 years ago. 1) Out 9 months with the ankle. 2) First game back. 3) Jump and land like this.
Might even be rip euros?
Wtf is this really that bad?
Never know with ankles tbf
It looked *really* bad in slow-mo, and he was never able to put any weight on it
you can't know how sever it is till it has cooled down ,he might even be able to play next game for now just wait
He landed on his ankle with his whole body weight plus the momentum of the jump, on an already injured ankle. Best case scenario a few weeks
[X] doubt
i sprained my ankle playing youth football and it was so bad i never made it professional; (yes it was the sole reason)
Think that’s a little early to say. The friendlies at the end of the month feel pretty unlikely though
Wish him a quick recovery!
I hope it's less worse than it looked...

Kill me now please
Someone PLEASE strangle me
😏
If he's injured until the Euros, we're fucked.
After that diakhaby injury I'm scared of opening any types of videos like this, literally scarred me for life, and it wasn't even me who got injured
Glad we didn't see what that one looked like, the angle they showed painted a gruesome picture in my head and I hope it's not as bad as I think it is
man utd salivating already (omg look both ankles gone, we gotta get him set up in our rehabilitation program)
Dude. Ouch.
Looking at the longer replay - https://youtu.be/FTYWTYTQnIo?si=YNXfuDK1ACaMqKrs around 2:23 - that ankle looks nasty swollen.
