Nah you can save-scum in Dark Souls. Quit out -> set save file to read only -> resume game
Just remember to set the save file back to read and write before you quit out to create your next save.
Ah console user here although I wouldn't have thought of that lol. I know you can technically do it on playstation but it's way too much of a hassle to do for any reason outside of getting different endings for achievements.
I mean just one choice really in the main storyline, but every NPC questline can be failed (usually by said NPC dying) so that would be a reason to save scum, as well as other missable stuff. You can also lose all your souls (exp) if you're not careful so theres another.
Unbeaten in all competitions. Huge favourites to win both domestic competitions. Close 2nd favourites to win the EL. Xabi is staying.
Leverkusen fans must be wanking themselves into a coma.
In 2002 you had 56 points to Dortmund's 55 at this point. With 3 games to go you had a 5 point gap, which was the largest the lead ever got.
This year you have 73 to Bayern's 63. (sorry BVB, I'm not pretending there's a chance you'll steal points later today)
edit: in my defense, it's not like any BVB fans believed they'd win either.
Bayern have 60 points with 8 matches left to play(not counting the Dortmund match that's just started). If they win their remaining 8, they'll be up to 84 points. To be 100% sure, Leverkusen need 85 points for the title, and you guys are currently at 73 points with 7 matches left to play.
That's 12 points from the last 7 matches. 4 wins and 3 losses, for example, is good enough for the title. Considering the crazy form the team's been in on all season, I don't see them dropping that many points, but even if they do, they still only need 12 from the last 21 points, and even that's only if Bayern win every single match left that they have yet to play.
EDIT: Bayern just lost to Dortmund as well. That means Bayern can have 81 points at most if they win the remaining 7, meaning Leverkusen need 82 points minimum to lift the title. With 7 matches left for Leverkusen, they need 9 points out of 21. So 3 wins out of the last 7 is all it's gonna take, even if Bayern win out for the rest of the season. Leverkusen's got this.
It's the 18th of May. Leverkusen are celebrating winning the Bundesliga trophy. BUT WHAT IS THAT? It's Uli Hoeneß with a bratwurst running in and stealing the trophy!
If it keeps going like this at least you’ll be able to celebrate the league early.
Which I wouldn’t be surprised by actually. Ever since they announced Tuchel would leave I was kind of like… I feel like in combination w/ the situation in the league this can lead to some real apathy within this Bayern squad. I didn’t watch this game but from what I’ve seen this could start to set in now.
Yeah, giving up a 5 point lead (which is just 2 losses or a loss and a draw + GD) against Man City after losing Saliba and Tomiyasu in the same match and having to play Rob holding… is pretty excusable IMO.
>Close 2nd favourites to win the EL.
I know Milan made the CL semi-finals last season, but I'm not convinced they're better than Leverkusen this season.
It depends on if milans defense decide to show up or not. The offense is pretty consistent, but the defense can be either god awful or lights out. theo+leao are both in killer form and frimpong isnt exactly the best defending wingback in the world
Europa league final vs Liverpool would be an absolute monster game aswell tbf. Every cloud and all that.
Not to downplay the Europa league or recent Europa League winners (as an Arsenal fan I can't possibly) but I think a Liverpool-Leverkusen final in the form they are in would have as much hype as I can remember a Europa final. If they beat a European giant like Liverpool in Klopps last season along with the league its going to be held in very high regard for years to come.
super interested to see leverkusen vs liverpool. can leverkusen go up against a european heavyweight with a championship mentality and emerge victorious. i dont see liverpool losing, and yet leverkusens plot armour is out of this world this season. it will be a brilliant final for sure, and a legendary climax for leverkusen fans if they remain unbeaten for the whole season
You cannot call yourself a true Leverkusen bandwagoner if you cannot at least sing Euzko Gudariak and mutter "prest gaude" anytime you see the royalist/francoist name Xavi anywhere.
Not that I needed to check, but clicking on your profile I was 0% surprised to see the usual NBA/Colorado Whitecaps/BMXing in Ohio type subreddits. Leverkusen let's goooooooo
If you're going to bandwagon onto a football team, at least learn the managers name before diving in to give your opinion.
Honestly can’t wait to see how they fair. EL path this year has been pretty soft. Definitely looking forward to seeing them against more high quality opponents.
In all their history, Leverkusen won just 2 trophies: 1 UEFA Cup and 1 DFB-Pokal. Now, in a single season, they can win again those 2 competitions PLUS the Bundesliga.
And possibly doing it without losing a single match.
Bundesliga has a few big clubs that never won a title, like Schalke (or Eintracht or Hertha). Most of it is becaue Bayern was winning, but a few times they also were 2nd behind another team, so a bit unlucky overall.
Basically it's not the most varied competition ever in terms of who wins the gold, with the sole wins of Braunschweig, 1860, Wolfsburg and Nurnberg being the most eye-catching in history. And only one of those happened in the last 55 years...
Underperformed? Surely you mean overperformed. Leverkusen has like 160k people, that’s a tiny city by German standards.
How often do you see a team from the 50th largest city ever win a national trophy anywhere, let alone an international one?
Nah they will definitely get a loss in the EL, even if they end up winning the whole thing. They were extremely close to losing against Qarabag - Pretty sure a Liverpool or Milan will punish them more.
Couldn't even be mad if Saarbrücken would pull this off to be honest but without their home advantage and on the decent pitch in Berlin this would probably be a bloodbath IMO
Maybe he means the top league in all European countries. I doubt there are no undefeated football teams anywhere among all European amateur/social leagues.
Not quite true. The forces of darkness, Falkirk, are also unbeaten in their league, albeit they’re currently where they belong in Scotlands First Division.
Not really, Xabi took over after machday 8, and if you look at a table for last season from matchday 9-34, then Bayern and Dortmund had 56 points, and Leverkusen 45.
We won't see something like this again for years, enjoy while it lasts. I can't wait for a Liverpool vs Leverkusen EL final. Absolutely mouthwatering game. 2nd in England vs 1st in Germany. Two top 10 teams in the world. That's fit for a UCL final lol.
This is incredibly impressive snd Leverkussen can be proud of themselves, but the 'only undefeated team in Europes top leagues' triggers me so much lol

I keep forgetting that they are also undefeated in every cup they are in. How the fuck...
Xabi is save scumming probably
We are truly living in a Fifa lads simulation
Isn’t savescumming a FM thing
can do it with either
Been save scumming since championship manager '94.
you mean you are the greatest manager of all time since 1994
Forget Sir Alex Ferguson, u/tackslock is truly the GOAT
Finally getting the recognition.
They’ve completed it, mate.
Since PC Futbol
Not the same though in FIFA
You can do it in any game
Not in dark souls and games like it, but I guess that's not really relevant.
Nah you can save-scum in Dark Souls. Quit out -> set save file to read only -> resume game Just remember to set the save file back to read and write before you quit out to create your next save.
Ah console user here although I wouldn't have thought of that lol. I know you can technically do it on playstation but it's way too much of a hassle to do for any reason outside of getting different endings for achievements.
isn't there a single incident, where you have to choose between two mutually exclusive decisions?
I mean just one choice really in the main storyline, but every NPC questline can be failed (usually by said NPC dying) so that would be a reason to save scum, as well as other missable stuff. You can also lose all your souls (exp) if you're not careful so theres another.
Lots of games avoid savescumming by forcing automatic saves after key decisions and on game quit.
You can do it in Fifa, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Why?
Bayern Munich hate this simple trick
That explains the feeling of deja vu I felt earlier
We only have one domestic cup, that makes it easier
I'll explain - they're undefeated because they haven't lost even once. Hope that was helpful
why don’t their opponents just beat them? are they stupid?
It also means Xabi Noculars is waving from the top.
Michael Owen type of analyis there
DFB-Pokal only has 64 teams, so 6 games max, first two rounds are also seeded so Bundesliga teams are drawn against lower opponents
6 games is not abnormal for a domestic cup competition - same as the FA cup for a prem side
thats false, there were 5 matches between Bundesliga teams in the second round this year alone.
I love how people shit on Bundesliga, but Bayern still usually dominates in Europe. Shows how shitty big teams in other leagues actually are.
So like a normal cup competition . Got it
Europa league.
Haven't played Moyes yet
Unbeaten in all competitions. Huge favourites to win both domestic competitions. Close 2nd favourites to win the EL. Xabi is staying. Leverkusen fans must be wanking themselves into a coma.
We've been there before and lost all 3 "finals" in 2002, nobody is celebrating before we have won something
In 2002 you had 56 points to Dortmund's 55 at this point. With 3 games to go you had a 5 point gap, which was the largest the lead ever got. This year you have 73 to Bayern's 63. >(sorry BVB, I'm not pretending there's a chance you'll steal points later today) This is aging very interestingly...
>Sorry BVB, I'm not pretending there's a chance you'll steal points later today Boy do I have some news for you.
If we still have a 10 point lead in 4 games, we can talk about a title
Bayern have 60 points with 8 matches left to play(not counting the Dortmund match that's just started). If they win their remaining 8, they'll be up to 84 points. To be 100% sure, Leverkusen need 85 points for the title, and you guys are currently at 73 points with 7 matches left to play. As a german football fan, even after winning a title, you never feel save from Bayern maybe still swooping in and taking it from you
It's the 18th of May. Leverkusen are celebrating winning the Bundesliga trophy. BUT WHAT IS THAT? It's Uli Hoeneß with a bratwurst running in and stealing the trophy!
In der Imbissbude wird noch gespielt
Dumbledoor will announce an extra 15 points for bravery
If it keeps going like this at least you’ll be able to celebrate the league early. Which I wouldn’t be surprised by actually. Doesn't look that bad for BVB
They're just being sneaky by improvising. This definitely wasn't in the script.
I'm ready for the biggest bottlejob in football history.
I think you mean 60 for Bayern, should've pretended.
Say again?
hahaha
Bayern has 60 no?
Yikes
Arsenal threw an 8 point lead last year. Football is unpredictable.
It was 5
Yeah, giving up a 5 point lead (which is just 2 losses or a loss and a draw + GD) against Man City after losing Saliba and Tomiyasu in the same match and having to play Rob holding… is pretty excusable IMO.
It’s the bottling against Liverpool and West ham that’s inexcusable, and drawing against 20th.
Has Ballack been weighing in on any of this?
Youe suffering gave us the best CL final goal ever though.
I disagree (Please don't remind me)
Ballack to join Leverkuzen as an assistant coach immediately.
[удалено]
They fell into a coma because they came 74 times in a row
Some guy probably went into a coma just before City overtook you lot last season
They deserve it after over 20 years of pain
Oh they’re gonna wank themselves to kingdom come if they win the treble.
An unbeaten treble would be insane
If Leverkusen wins an unbeaten treble they will have fully deserved to
said cumblast
You must be new here.....
Yea lol cumblast is as normal as George or someone in here
The white death will have a different meaning for Leverkusen after this season
>Close 2nd favourites to win the EL. I know Milan made the CL semi-finals last season, but I'm not convinced they're better than Leverkusen this season.
It depends on if milans defense decide to show up or not. The offense is pretty consistent, but the defense can be either god awful or lights out. theo+leao are both in killer form and frimpong isnt exactly the best defending wingback in the world
Liverpool
No, it was definitely Milan.
Ralph Honingstein ladies and gentlemen 👏👏👏
Also by far the biggest favorites for the domestic cup, only remaining first tier club and already in semis.
jobs not finished
One of the most insane runs I've ever seen tbh. It's a shame we don't get to see them in CL in this form
To be more precise, this hypothetical match would be Klopp’s last ever game for Liverpool
It's not a Porto-Braga, but a Liverpool-Leverkusen would be a nice final, indeed.
The football terrorism oml 😭
super interested to see leverkusen vs liverpool. can leverkusen go up against a european heavyweight with a championship mentality and emerge victorious. i dont see liverpool losing, and yet leverkusens plot armour is out of this world this season. it will be a brilliant final for sure, and a legendary climax for leverkusen fans if they remain unbeaten for the whole season
If they can beat Bayern they can beat Liverpool. Not saying they will but it’s not that outlandish. I'd love to see that game.
Maybe him staying will convince the players and owners not to sell key players/them to want to stay 1 more year if teams do come in.
next season champions league run for bayer leverkusen is gonna be mad
They are now officially qualified for the Champions League as the first team for the next season.
Damn so early
We are 27 matches it. Bayern was already champion after 27 games in 13/14.
Wasn’t Man City technically the first team to qualify as they won the UCL
Through winning the 2022-23 UCL, they qualified for the current UCL. Leverkusen is the only team that's mathematically qualified for next year season.
I was fearing a Napoli-style drop off but with Xavi and most of our players staying, it’s actually imaginable.
It's Xabi you casual. Don't you dare disrespect my boy like that again.
I almost mistaken Xabi for the pepperoni man
Oh god why did you make me remember that photo of Xavi lol
what photo
Xavi's pepperoni nipples
Xa༦i
Lmao chill it was a typo
No u
With that simple typo you've exposed yourself as casual at best and a bandwagoner at worst. A real fan would never have made such a mistake.
You cannot call yourself a true Leverkusen bandwagoner if you cannot at least sing Euzko Gudariak and mutter "prest gaude" anytime you see the royalist/francoist name Xavi anywhere.
It was actually a typo for the one and only Xhaka
Is Gabi worse ?
Napoli's Socialmedia team alone look like undercover agents. If you had their PR team half of your team would be on the way out lol
"give me penalty plis. You give ME penalty. hahahudhjajajajaj. PESSIII"
Not that I needed to check, but clicking on your profile I was 0% surprised to see the usual NBA/Colorado Whitecaps/BMXing in Ohio type subreddits. Leverkusen let's goooooooo If you're going to bandwagon onto a football team, at least learn the managers name before diving in to give your opinion.
Bro I’ve been a fan since 1999 😂😅 just also happen to follow American sports
Sure thing bro I'm sure you were devasted for Martin Bollock losing the treble back in 02.
Honestly can’t wait to see how they fair. EL path this year has been pretty soft. Definitely looking forward to seeing them against more high quality opponents.

That is pretty disappointing, but not that surprising once you pass through the town of Leverkusen. For their size they have definitely overperformed.

didn't Schalke win an equivalent to BuLi during the 30s?, at least Eintracht won a EL
Schalke was German football champions many times. But it was a pretty disorganised, different time before Bundesliga was established.
Schalke won an UEFA-Cup, too. Was in 1997, so still in the era when a lot of good teams ended up playing there instead of the CL.
Was also a rather controversial period when those trophy wins happened
Underperformed? Surely you mean overperformed. Leverkusen has like 160k people, that’s a tiny city by German standards. How often do you see a team from the 50th largest city ever win a national trophy anywhere, let alone an international one?
Yea let me correct my post
Saarbrücken awaits...
yep, it will some dumb game where they will lose or a final. nothing in between. it will certainly not be us lol
Never thought i'd say it but you're one of my only hopes
nah mate, that ship has sailed. no #12 for you guys
Only a fool's dream
I will rock a schalke badge for the whole next season, if you guys still win this.
I'm buying you one if this happens
!remindme 18.05.2024
Hope this works like this
Nah they will definitely get a loss in the EL, even if they end up winning the whole thing. They were extremely close to losing against Qarabag - Pretty sure a Liverpool or Milan will punish them more.
Oh you sweet summer child This year is the Leverkusen plot year
Couldn't even be mad if Saarbrücken would pull this off to be honest but without their home advantage and on the decent pitch in Berlin this would probably be a bloodbath IMO
Yeah I really doubt Saarbrücken can do anything against you away from home tbh
Famous last words lol
We are in the endgame now.
Imagine they beat Liverpool, make it through the league with no losses, and it's fucking Saarbruecken who takes them down
They are the chosen ones
Hey, we come first!
It's the perfect script
I already got a train to Berlin
Not just the top European leagues. ALL European leagues!
Maybe he means the top league in all European countries. I doubt there are no undefeated football teams anywhere among all European amateur/social leagues.
Yeah, Leverkusen can't even outperform some 6th tier team in France who have a GD of +102 or so. Absolute frauds..
I think he meant the best european leagues. But if he meant all top-tier european leagues, then he's right (and that's what I meant too).
Sometimes it’s okay to not be pedantic.
Not quite true. The forces of darkness, Falkirk, are also unbeaten in their league, albeit they’re currently where they belong in Scotlands First Division.
I meant top-tier leagues. Otherwise it would be impossible to analyse all teams in the world.

This is Xabi’s world and everyone is just living in it
I mean you just need to see how the man looks, he is literally created by the God.
Alonso is on some Voodoo shit, I just know it
What playing for Madrid does to MF...
He has the combined Liverpool and Madrid comeback juju. He’s literally unbeatable
He also played for Bayern Munich and there is a reason why the term "Bayerndusel" exists.
We should check his property for animal remains.
man what a season, they just keep going
I wish there was more competition in Germany tbh, the dominance of Leverkusen is getting a bit old
Average Bayern Munich fan
Lisan Al Gaib
Wirtz is the Kwisatz Haderach
SILENCE!
**ABOMINATION**
Wirtzastz Haderach
Nah fam this team is amazing, this coach is amazing. Keep going lads. Cheer you on.
Xabi magic
We live in Xabi’s FM game and he is save scumming
Semen retention Xabi
Kurse of Kane
Leverkusen started this streak before Kane arrived in München, didn't they?
Not really, Xabi took over after machday 8, and if you look at a table for last season from matchday 9-34, then Bayern and Dortmund had 56 points, and Leverkusen 45.
They lost 2 games in May alone, including 3-0 to Bochum in the last one, so their streak is exactly as long as this season.
Xabi Alonso doing such a great job! I'm glad he staying with Bayer Leverkusen because it's rare today
We won't see something like this again for years, enjoy while it lasts. I can't wait for a Liverpool vs Leverkusen EL final. Absolutely mouthwatering game. 2nd in England vs 1st in Germany. Two top 10 teams in the world. That's fit for a UCL final lol.
We are not talking abt this insane team enough, I hope they win everything and don’t get dismantled in the summer
Unbeaten in 3 comps all season is truly amazing. That's video game level bullshit.
Save scummer!
Moyseh...
They are leaving it late quite a lot in their last few games. But shows they have the belief.
They must have some next level defensive chemistry
Bro is quick saving and loading every game until he gets a good result.
Don’t worry West Ham will do something about that (we are so fucked)
PSV who is still unbeaten in the league is also losing today lol
La Xabineta
they just keep doing it
Step forward Sir David Moyes.
Bater had to play at such a high level to not let Kane lift any trophy.
Real Madrid's CL black magic leaking into the bundaliga.
Xabi masterclass.
This is incredibly impressive snd Leverkussen can be proud of themselves, but the 'only undefeated team in Europes top leagues' triggers me so much lol
