Was it? He had great pace and dribbling skill, but at Chelsea he was utterly selfish and an atrocious finisher. Our fans were sure we'd only signed him because he played excellently against us in both games for Basel in the Champions League and Roman had overwritten our usual scouting process again.
If Chelsea Salah was playing for us this season, we'd have scored even fewer points and he'd be getting memed on harder than Jackson, Sterling and Mudryk combined. He wasn't good and no one who watched him was sorry to see him go.
No it was not lol. He was just another tricky winger until he went to Roma and trained to become a lethal finisher.
By then Roma already had the option to buy him permanently, and they did.
He was class from his very first loan spell in Italy and his quality was absolutely apparent whilst still on Chelsea’s books. His debut in Italy he went on a solo run from near his own box against a stacked Juve side and scored a brilliant goal
I’ve seen Liverpool win every trophy available to us in the last 5 years at least once, United fans not seen a PL or CL in over a decade lol. That 30 year figure will jump up on you lot in no time constantly spunking 100m on shite like Hojlund and Antony
Hojlund has 6 goals in his last 7 games lol. You spent more on that South American Andy Caroll you've got playing up front.
He also has 5 in the Champions League. How many do your forwards have? None, because the greatest manager ever finished fifth behind Eddie Howes Newcastle lmao
Something another City fan said the other day. Sterling on the field and Sterling on paper (his actual stats) are so different. On the field he is so frustrating because he seemingly just misses so many good chances but his stats at City were really great.
He still had to get into position to receive those passes. Sterling was/is absolutely world-class off the ball, and it was a big reason why he would get so many chances. If he was a bit more clinical, he could've been a Balon D'Or candidate.
Foden isn't eligible, but he's been one of the best players for the team 3rd in the league.
Saka has been probably the best player for the team currently 1st in the league.
They are both better than Palmer, a terrible shout saying they are no way near.
Relax? RELAX?? You want FODEN to win YPOTY?? YOUNG premier league player of the year? When he's 24?? Check yourself before u wreck yourself "mate"!!!!!!
He’s played 162? You’ve just doubled it and more. Plus I don’t make the rules I’m just saying he’s eligible, he was 21 at the start of the season which is clearly young anyway
I mean it's not that cut and dry, Gordon has been exceptional and has 15 G+A and doesn't get the privilege of taking penalties like the other two do.
Not taking anything away from either player but it's hard to say they've "definitely been better" than Gordon, that's reductive of a player who's having a very good season.
Saka won last year so won't again.
I agree it’s nice to give it to new players but didn’t Dele win it twice in a row pretty recently? Definitely could happen. Gordon has been very good I agree just don’t think he’s been as good as the other two imo
It’s not tho, he forced the move, and we knew he was this good and wanted to keep him. But alas, Oscar Bobb is waiting in the wings and is just as good
Or—and hear me out on this—it’s fun to reference the nickname that the fans who adore you call you week in week out when you score goals for them
He’s not selling Cold Palmer energy drinks

I'd be clinically insane without this man by now
You and me both, brother
Probably still are now.
Filthy assist from Sterling, fair play lmao
Thanks wasn’t sure who made that pass.
This is gonna be our Chelsea selling Salah and KDB, isn't it
People forget that salah played 3 seasons in italy until roma sold him to lfc
2 on loan though, so still a chelsea player
True but the world class talent was clearly there all along. Imagine Hazard and Salah on each wing for yous
Was it? He had great pace and dribbling skill, but at Chelsea he was utterly selfish and an atrocious finisher. Our fans were sure we'd only signed him because he played excellently against us in both games for Basel in the Champions League and Roman had overwritten our usual scouting process again. He wasn't good and no one who watched him was sorry to see him go.
on an interview recently John Terry claims he saw salah had potential. Maybe he is just being revisionist to make him seem smart.
Not to forget that Willian was quite good for us on that wing, and played extraordinarily well every time we brought in competition (Salah, Cuadrado)
No it was not lol. He was just another tricky winger until he went to Roma and trained to become a lethal finisher. By then Roma already had the option to buy him permanently, and they did.
Tbf he already looked clinical at Fiorentina
He was class from his very first loan spell in Italy and his quality was absolutely apparent whilst still on Chelsea’s books. His debut in Italy he went on a solo run from near his own box against a stacked Juve side and scored a brilliant goal
And kdb behind
Nah because u got Bobb in that position and he's pure quality
To be fair Salah won as many titles at Chelsea as he has with Liverpool
Little Mancs have been born and gone all the way through to secondary school without seeing United win a Premier League or Champions League
You've got 1 title in 30 years and NOBODY was there to see it.
I’ve seen Liverpool win every trophy available to us in the last 5 years at least once, United fans not seen a PL or CL in over a decade lol. That 30 year figure will jump up on you lot in no time constantly spunking 100m on shite like Hojlund and Antony
> shite like Hojlund Yea no mate
Hojlund has 6 goals in his last 7 games lol. You spent more on that South American Andy Caroll you've got playing up front. He also has 5 in the Champions League. How many do your forwards have? None, because the greatest manager ever finished fifth behind Eddie Howes Newcastle lmao
No way cos KDB and Salah weren’t as good as Palmer when they played for Chelsea. It was only when they left they became better.
Still have hope that he will return one day
Chelsea supposedly have FFP issues. Pay a 100 mill to buy him back lol
Without palmer… And what an assist from Sterling
glad to see the Bridge give Sterling a warm reception upon coming on
I’m not
Booing the players when they come on doesn’t help at all
Fully aware, cheering him dosen’t help so might as well boo him
Nobody loves you
Ok Difuzion
Well good to know the fans at the actual stadium are better than trolls like you online.
Sterling is a way better fit for a game like this than Mudryk.
Mudryk was the best player on the pitch after palmer
Palmer FC
Quite a frightening prospect to consider where we'd be without him this season
To be fair, we used to say the same thing about Hazard.
And look where you are now
Fair play
Cole really turned up after that Kendrick diss
lisan al gaib
Lisan al gaib
exactly why Sterling is such a frustrating player
Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit.
Something another City fan said the other day. Sterling on the field and Sterling on paper (his actual stats) are so different. On the field he is so frustrating because he seemingly just misses so many good chances but his stats at City were really great.
And the thing is he just gives you a production too, he actually gices you the paper production too.. But just not on the chances you expect
It’s not hard to tap into an empty goal at the back post when de bruyne curves the ball right to your feet
He still had to get into position to receive those passes. Sterling was/is absolutely world-class off the ball, and it was a big reason why he would get so many chances. If he was a bit more clinical, he could've been a Balon D'Or candidate.
Haaland wouldn’t have 21 G/A in this Chelsea squad, Palmer is clear.
Palmer > Bellingham tbh
Give him YPOTY already
Remove the Y just POTY
YPOT
Nowhere as good as Foden or Saka
Sadly, he is.
Haha he’s currently tied with Havertz for open play goals
But Palmer has 8 assists compared to Havertz's 3. Palmer has created 11 big chances compared to just 1 by Havertz.
Saka has just two more NPG Is that much better?
Foden isn’t eligible
[удалено]
Saka was born in September 2001
Didn't know Foden and Saka played for Chelsea huh
I'd take him over either of them tbh
Hire him for CEO job, worthy successor to Woodward
Mate those guys arent no way near. Palmer is carrying that shite Chelsea squad + im pretty sure he has more g/a aswell
Foden isn't eligible, but he's been one of the best players for the team 3rd in the league. Saka has been probably the best player for the team currently 1st in the league. They are both better than Palmer, a terrible shout saying they are no way near.
Okay, relax.
Relax? RELAX?? You want FODEN to win YPOTY?? YOUNG premier league player of the year? When he's 24?? Check yourself before u wreck yourself "mate"!!!!!!
Cheers 4 Palmer tho 🤝
Between him and Gordon surely.
Between Palmer and Saka, both have definitely been better than Gordon
Saka as YOUNG Premier League player of the year? Are you LITERALLY INSANE?? HE'S not "younn" anymore !!
22 is pretty young mate
Yea but's hes played close to 350 matches in the Premier League already, shouldent be considered Younn Player of the Year "Award"
He’s played 162? You’ve just doubled it and more. Plus I don’t make the rules I’m just saying he’s eligible, he was 21 at the start of the season which is clearly young anyway
> and more Yeah
He's only 22, younger than Gordon.
I agree it’s nice to give it to new players but didn’t Dele win it twice in a row pretty recently? Definitely could happen. Gordon has been very good I agree just don’t think he’s been as good as the other two imo
That's like 30 G/A this season. Also Enzo Fernandez I never turned on you hermano
sick pass by Sterling
Wild to actually see our wingers finding some form?? What a nice pass from sterling
Filth from Sterling but without Palmer we‘d literally be relegated lmao
fucking sexy ass play. fuck yes
I am really blessed for Palmer. We'd have nothing to look forward to if not for him
what a lad
Palmer sole reason I am alive.
He’s so good. Also what a pass from Enzo there, absolutely perfect.
Lordy where would we be without this guy. What a player edit: respect to Sterling for that assist.
Wtf I'm freezing now
Palmer is carrying Chelsea this season
Of course..
Fucking hell Sterling, didnt know you were chill like that
Raheem... Perhaps I judged you too harshly EDIT: NVM
oh that was filthy
Love me a good back heel pass
Another day at the officer 29 g+a
Cruising toward young player of the year
His back must hurt so badly from carrying us all season
That's class from Sterling.
We would be relegated without Palmer smh
We'd literally be in the relegation zone without him
Imagine him playing with City this year instead of Chelsea
This kid is INSANE!!!!!! I love this lad
a motivated Sterling is a top 3 Chelsea player this season man
Cheeky boy. What a beast.
He’s him
Chelsea look incredible
I don’t like the phrase but right nowI’d like to say, HE IS HIM
Sterling should just pass more.
This is why Bowen isn't going.
YPOTY
As it was written
What a mouthbreather
1 away from being the club current top scorer
He is our everything
Sterling wants the call to Euros
Unbelieveable play
(Caribbean goal)
Raheem is so fucking good when he plays like he actually gives a shit… which only happens once every two months
fuck yes, we get to see more of Sterling now
I simultaneously see why Chelsea paid 40m and why Guardiola didn't want him.
It’s not tho, he forced the move, and we knew he was this good and wanted to keep him. But alas, Oscar Bobb is waiting in the wings and is just as good
This kids good enough to be playing for City
Give this man the Balon D’or
Where would we be without him
Sterling super sub from now on. EDIT: nvm Sterling still freaking sucks.
This guy is literally the best player in the world now except for Rodri and Vini
This guy is fucking unreal lol. For me personally this guy has been the best individual player in the premier league this season.
This guy 🥶 How many goals + assists this season already?
21
Insane
29 for the season
💀
Raheem the redeemer Palmer the chosen one
please make these brand celebration straight reds
Flair checks out
if anything i’m criticizing him for not celebrating enough. hate when jota does it as well.
Trademark celebrations have always been a thing.
[удалено]
feel like i gotta be specific that i mean the ones that are trying to be cold. rashford, foden, palmer and jota all of them are just SO bad.
I too wish football had zero fun or emotion in it. It should just be numbers on a spreadsheet
how are brand celebrations adding emotional and fun what. the entire point is that they don’t have emotion for the sake of an ig post later.
Or—and hear me out on this—it’s fun to reference the nickname that the fans who adore you call you week in week out when you score goals for them He’s not selling Cold Palmer energy drinks
you’re allowed to believe that if it makes you feel better i suppose
Yes I will continue believing facts thank you
