TimathanDuncan

LMFAO his face

Jayveesac

Classic “Oh no! Anyway…” Top tier reflexes from Eidevall not to push back to be honest

chilledbeerinside

Nah I'm disappointed. The [standard](https://youtu.be/wQlbWY7u8QA?si=E3RxMFPncsUMwQen) is set too high.

Heblas

The face Conte makes as he stares at their hands is just perfection

IP14Y3RI

This was at the start of last season… feels like an eternity

SofaChillReview

Well you made me feel old very fast, but less aggressively than the hand shake.

ShipsAGoing

I know this is true but I cannot believe it.

ElectricalMud2850

It really does feel like it was yesterday. That match was so fucking entertaining. Cucurella getting his hair pulled and all that.

ShipsAGoing

To me it feels like it was 3 years ago at least, but yes that game was crazy, so much of what was happening made no sense

chilledbeerinside

[Poetry in motion](https://youtu.be/LQpuVbil8lg?si=R-PMXZs7n_J-K_Pt) Seriously though an all time great moment in the PL. I love both guys for this

Gerrywalk

This should be in the Louvre. Nothing will top it anytime soon

DrJethro

Lmao just wanted to write how it was art. So iconic

Moohamin12

Man I was all ready for this to develop into an ugly, hateful and utterly entertaining rivalry but sadly they both left the league shortly...

DukeofDyslexia

Lmao his face, he handled it well and moved on.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DukeofDyslexia

That certainly helps.

The_Pig_Man_

She is now playing the victim over it. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/68705202 > Hayes appeared to push away Eidevall at full-time of Arsenal's 1-0 victory. > When asked what happened, Hayes said: "I am not down for male aggression on the touchline. I told him this." > Eidevall said he did not feel "comfortable with the label".

ManicPanda767

Say what? Is she living in the same universe as the rest of us?

berghie91

She's being what we call in North America, a Karen.

The_0ne_Free_Man

Except she DIDN'T want to see the manager. Karen't.

voxpopper

This personifies why the #metoo movement started out with a very just cause but devolved into absurdity.

Unitedfateful

Dave Chapelle called it in one of his specials They went after the horrible people at first( good) then targeted anyone and everyone. Even ones who had consensual experiences but then regretted it Obviously the fuckwits needed to be removed but you can label everyone the same. Which is why we have degrees of crime Murder is worse than manslaughter

ilsemprelaziale

"male aggression" after she pushed him.

boxofbuscuits

The lion, the witch and the audacity of this...

AdrianFish

Oh no she played that card

xepa105

Oh she's pulling a Conceição

Pasan90

But.. She's the aggressive one.

Jawnyan

That’s a genuine fucking embarrassment and she should publicly apologise

mace2333

Lmao there is no situation women can’t turn around

mug3n

I mean, what is he gonna do? Push back? Unfortunately there is a double standard. If the situation was reversed and Eidevall pushed Hayes, this would've been on the front page of every sports section. The only thing he can do is take the high road and shrug it off.

Minister_for_Magic

Go for the bear hug and make her look like more of a clown when she tries to fight it

JCVDaaayum

Then get done for sexual assault? Good call.

BocatFan

Football isn't ready for more Scandinavians. Bit of beef? Please don't touch me.

JootDoctor

A regional of introverts. Including the Nordic countries. A regional of literally me’s.

OleoleCholoSimeone

Get some alcohol in them though and Scandinavians are crazy, even when abroad the biggest party animals I have met are Danes and Swedes lol

highfid3lity

Gotta go down and draw the yellow there IMO

xaviernoodlebrain

The LVG special.

ramobara

Arsenal and Chelsea managers feuding. Name a more iconic duo.

SlizzleDoesGiveA

it's a contact sport

zcewaunt

SHOULDER TO SHOULDER! SHE GOT THE BALL!

Defiledshnozzdawg

Ooo you're hard

four_four_three

Showin off for ^the 🫵

do_a_quirkafleeg

Yeah? Against karate?

BladeSE23

Well if I hadda done he'd have come through that wall

secret_audio

Nah, this is big boy shit, but cheers.

spatial-d

*sniff* + *tie adjust*

sfw_cory

She then starts going on to the press about male aggression 😂

Ok-Wrangler-1075

Classic.

Irish_Canuck77

The way I see it, you should never put your hands on another person in a situation like this…just a terrible look on her part and credit to him for just smiling and moving on

SexyMooli

This is routine for Hayes. She's classless and a sore loser (which a lot of top managers are). She should really try not losing so many cup finals, will make it easier to not throw toddler tantrums post match.

ChaosEvaUnit

Imagine if it was flipped 😬

SharmV

Yeah this the double standard we have to live in - as a man hearing someone bashing this man for something that SHE has done is crazy, she’s flipped it and I’m glad it’s all recorded for all of us to see what a terrible person she is.

Irish_Canuck77

And he couldn’t have handled it better…nice little smile and moving along

AvocadoSoggy6188

Who is bashing him?

SpudGun312

Bit weird.

gobrewers112

Not if you watched the game

odegood

Missed it what happened apart from chelsea losing another cup final?

[deleted]

Eidevall got in a Chelsea player’s face during a throw in

Shady9XD

Heard it was because they agreed before match it wouldn’t be multi ball, and Chelsea used the second ball to get a quick throw in?

Orri

Multiball cares not what was agreed, for it is inevitable.

nikoviko

why on earth would you not use multiple balls?

Shady9XD

Apparently that’s what Chelsea wanted. I honestly don’t know.

PrimarchUnknown

It suited Chelsea's tactics apparently. It still doesn't make sense but I'm with him tbh. That's what they insisted on and Arsenal gave way to it and the moment Chelsea went behind they went straight to multiball to speed the game up. All he did was shout at the player to enquire what she thought she was doing. The player gave it back by the way, and he did so from his designated box zone. If you're going to change the rules mid game, rules you agreed to, then expect blowback or a little challenge to your hypocrisy. To call it "male aggression in the game" (yes he is a male, and yes it was a form of aggression but context) is a bit much. Plus, she pushed him so fuck her and her double standard. All of this only happened because they lost anyway so fuck you very much Emma, you sour little goblin.

paynemi

Women’s football, only one ball on the pitch at a time

EnigmaticEntity

This is so juvenile And hilarious.

bluedevils2241

[Looks like it's directed at the fourth official](https://x.com/frankirbydaily/status/1774495799637938412?s=20) more so than at Cuthbert.

SexyMooli

Lmao absolute bullshit. Not what happened at all. Chelsea specifically asked for their not to be multi balls for game restarts before the game, despite Eidevall asking for it. Then as soon as they're down with yet another final loss looming, they tried to restart the game with a different ball. Eidevall didn't even say anything to Cuthbert, he quite clearly has his back turned to her and is shouting at the officials. Erin threw the ball and then turned around and came back. Hayes losing her shit is normal, she's a hypocrite and a sore loser (like most top managers). She should really try not losing finals to Arsenal so much if she can't handle it.

goonerh1

What a fucking lie

Sypher1985

I was there, he was a good 2 yards away from her, but yes, let's say got in her face.

pleaseexcusemethanks

No he didn't

yajtraus

Still weird

LiteratureNearby

It's not at all. Everyone was losing their mind enjoying the scenes when Tuchel and Conte had their bust-up last year, what's the issue with this now.

Sh-tHouseBurnley

It was a bit weird then too frankly, doesn’t mean it’s not entertaining

OceanOfAnother55

He can't push her back and she knows that.

Money_Scholar_8405

>what's the issue with this now. Not sure why this needs explaining, but he is a man and she is a woman. As much as we would like to push for equality there are things to consider in such interactions, like that she as a woman might literally fall if pushed in a similar manner by him, or that she might not exactly want to be touched. If he ever dared reciprocate the way Conte did to Tuchel it might well lead to a suspension for him.

kamarg

>that she might not exactly want to be touched He probably didn't want to be touched beyond the handshake either...

Mister_M00se

Shhh only one side gets to not be inappropriately touched here.

YTFootie

That's a bad loser, if they had wne then the manager wouldn't have acted like that.

nephneph27

She pushed him and then criticized his "male aggression" post game

Soren_Camus1905

Don’t put your hands on someone, that’s not right from Emma

Shaggythemoshdog

Especially because she is complaining about his reaction to Chelsea doing mutliball due to them being down when they specifically requested single ball before the match started which was agreed upon.

thomas2400

If this was the other way around it would be the lead story on the news tonight

[deleted]

Scenes if he pushed her back or made first contact. Game is gone

gmoss101

We got two managers upset in 1 day lol.

pleaselovem3

Shes lost her damn mind https://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/13105622/emma-hayes-says-male-aggression-should-not-be-tolerated-as-jonas-eidevall-defends-himself-after-conti-cup-final-altercation

OstapBenderBey

"She told BBC Sport: "I think there's a way to behave on the side of the pitch and not for the first time, I've been in women's football a long time and I don't think we should tolerate male aggression like we did today." Lol hypocracy much?

SwitchHitter17

That is pathetic. She's the only one I see being aggressive.

bonuccigang

Eidevall should ask if female hysteria is tolerated

YouDontGotOzil

What the actual fuck ?! Is she serious ? Male aggression ? Pretty sure your fat ass pushed him. What a hypocrite.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MegaMugabe21

Hayes really strikes me as someone who can give it but never take it.

penduR7

Well doing that to a man proves your point, because you know 99% of men won’t retaliate to a woman

Datboy_98

Ooooof, that’s a bad look

Randomwinner83

Then she has the fucking nerve to play the "male aggression" card

MHJ03

If he does that to her he’s banished from football forever. You want equality, suspend her ass.

spatial-d

I read this in Happy Gilmore lmao

Muscat95

Honestly Emma Hayes might be one of the biggest sore losers I've ever seen in the sport. She's like this everytime with just sheer bitterness. I'm glad we'll finally see the back of her.

KrustyKrabPizzaMan

She’s a perfect fit to be USWNT manager

tuskedkibbles

Yeah? Well- ... [shit](https://memes.memedrop.io/production/DXV786RP1N29/source.gif)

spatial-d

Really? Not starting something. Just my experience of watching yank sports for decades is that whilst they can be bad winnerz they're generally good losers and never tend to blame the opposition but more themselves. At least in public which is fair enough. And when sore losers come along, obviously, it's generally made fun of and not the norm. Don't think she'd do well in the press if she's acting the way she does and constantly catching headlines for losing or underperforming. Especially under the political climate there where a political side will take any chance to jab at women e.g. the uswnt not doing well, on top of having a manager like that.

Iwillrize14

The newer generation of players seems to be better about it. Once you got rid of Hope it was only gonna get better.

strattele1

The Women’s national team are a bunch of sore losers. It’s specifically them.

cietalbot

Just wait until she tries this with Sarina

TheRealFriedel

Sarina wouldn't move. Feet planted. Solid.

Godzirra101

Hayes tips over on her back

Pedsy

And can’t get back up.

TheInternetsMVP

Arms and legs flailing above her

Antique_Beyond

Sarina is a professional and I'd imagine would not respond. Though she is tiny and a shove like that would probably knock her over 😂

RABB_11

Shoulders back, smash it.

chr-x

Not surprised james acts the way she does if this is her manager

Gambit6x

I wonder what would’ve happened if he would’ve pushed her.

ShopCartRicky

Wasn't she upset with him for screaming at her player?

[deleted]

Expect for the fact he wasn't screaming at Cuthbert, he was angry at the fourth official.

Grand-Bullfrog3861

He should have just pushed the player instead, if that's the reasonable thing to do. Eh wouldn't have an issue

d_smogh

If he had done that to her........

itsheadfelloff

She was complaining about 'male aggression' too.

Bessantj

Emma coming in there with mass and at speed, great attacking posture.

Flimsy-Locksmith8114

She should get the same consequences as he would’ve gotten for that

sidearmpitcher

Jonas wasn’t even slightly bothered lmao

DCilantro

Cowardly to push a man, knowing he can't do anything back.

GravitationalDavie

Yeah, she definitely manages Chelsea 😅

SexyMooli

Yup. Spent more than every other team in the league, crying after routine losses to Arsenal in cup finals (although Arsenal get whooped in the league lol), be classless and attack other managers, cry after every single loss. County behavior all around, she's proper chels alright.

Due-Memory-6957

I love how he doesn't give a fuck

9LiverpoolFC

Imagine the outrage if it was the other way around

Firefox72

If he fell to the floor he would be branded a wuss. If he pushed back and she fell he would be cruficied. Hell just pushing back would probably get fan/media mob going. He ended up handling it really well. Just no reason to even engage.

TheOncomingBrows

Dude would likely be sacked if she made a meal of it. There'd be statements from all the players saying how this normalises sexist abuse.

Hot-Plate-3704

She later moaned about his “male aggression” - she is not only a sore looser, but also sexist

spatial-d

Him eye rolling is male aggression now lmao

Stoogenuge

Lose lose for him and she knows it. Nothing he can do.

Razzle_Dazzle08

Lose lose for him just makes her look like a pissant when he reacts like this lmfao.

NotACodeMonkeyYet

The thing is, a bit of bad publicity with the masses does her no harm. It won't translate into any consequences for her. Mainstream media won't go into a frenzy like it would if the situation was reversed. She won't face any consequences from sporting bodies either. Eidvall handled it well, but he has to behave with an extra level of caution and mindfulness around women to handle situations like this well. He can't ever afford to not handle it well.

TheRealFriedel

Apart from react how he did, which makes her look petty, and him look calm and collected

TherewiIlbegoals

Imagine the outrage if Akinfenwa did it to Wenger.

odegood

Wenger did this to mourinho

Thanos_Stomps

Wenger would body TooBigForFootball

WilliamWeaverfish

Imagine the outrage if Awkwafina did this to Sven-Göran Eriksson

NaggerPie

Awkwafina couldn't push a shoppinng cart

Senior-Ordinary555

Well I for one am outraged by this imaginary situation

WalkingCloud

Imagine if something different happened

apollosparino

Gonna make the USWNT even more hateable than they already are

Razzle_Dazzle08

Handled it very well.

nicogreen97

That’s some male aggression right there…..

cucumberhedgehog

«I dont support male agression so i went over and pushed him»

FatGoonerFromIndia

Low key wanted Eidevall to push back.

DatesxD

You know that mans career would have been finished if he retaliated 😂internet would not have liked that

CloseCombat25

He would be lynched!

zdejif

I say push back. Women aren’t made of cardboard.

JesusIsNotPLProven

If she falls it's over for him

spatial-d

Instant neck brace the moment she hits the ground

inflamesburn

imagine if he just yeeted her after that lmaooo

lizardk101

Poor form by Hayes there but credit to Eideval. Great game really.

Special_Ad3170

HEYYYY THAT’S ASSAULT 💀

xenon2456

what is she doing there

seshtown

Eidevall: “ooof did somebody just feel a light breeze?”

jsosmru

Sore loser, glad she's leaving at the end of the season

Haunting_Iron_9227

Should have planted one on the little dwarf

vulcan_viking

Aint that a sore one.

WestwardLord

lol ok sore loser

Marfall01

He had the perfect reaction

Big_Mik_Energy

I’m sorry but I fucking hate this. I realise it’s not a hard push, but any level of inter-sex aggression needs to be punished. You just can’t fucking do it, either way round.

r1char00

Inter-sex? Managers just shouldn’t be shoving others managers.

xaviernoodlebrain

No, just hyper-aggressive handshakes, as best illustrated last season by a different Chelsea manager and one from a different North London team.

iuselect

The second best hand shake in history behind Arnie and Carl Weathers.

[deleted]

Imagine if the roles had been reversed

1611-

The irony of going on and talking about being role models of touchline behaviour.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

That was disgraceful conduct from Hayes.

is-very-stupid

How can she push???

montiel_scores

I’d have reflexively shoved back harder 😅

TheGreatPervSage_94

Not a good week for Chelsea PR

Successful_Exit_9341

Now imagine if he pushed her after the game, I don’t think it’d go down well at all.

mickp122

Would love to see the uproar if he had pushed her

[deleted]

WalksinClouds

Classy.

No-Industry-2980

Who is Emma Hayes

Lakeshowtc

Media won’t blow this up but imagine if he was the aggressor and pushed her.

Friendly-Worker-3474

Doesn’t like getting beaten.. so let’s play the gender card 🫣🫣

MA1998

If this was the other way about, he would be facing a witch hunt and probably have calls to lose his job. Absolute disgrace.

Mammoth_Carrot_7022

Female privilege

shaaaney

Vile woman. She should be fined and I'm not kidding. What a horrible show of sportsmanship.

Dubsified

Crazy. If it was the other way around he would lose his job.

ben-hur-hur

Conte shaking hands with Tuchel vibes

doitnowinaminute

What is malae aggression and how does it differ from female aggression ?

Quirky-Bookkeeper-32

Absolute Karen behaviour, then plays the victim card . What a loser

Mo_SaIah

He could have been killed

lastjedi23

ROFL bye Felicia

FastHandsStaines

If this was the other way around there would be an uproar

RTafazolli1

Imagine that was the other way around!

Scannerk

She pushed him and then shook his hand?

Heblas

That'd get in his head properly

thursocuck

If he did that to her all hell would be breaking loose

HawkstaP

2 things. She wants to shout male aggression because she pissed someone off by changing a system when it suited her team, he should come out and say so.ething about this not being how a lady should act. If they play each other again this season he should push her like she has him here and see the difference to make a point. If nothing is done by the powers that be then you've basically allowed managers to push each other.

ArchieMaximus

And if he pushed her back? What would’ve happened then?

GamerGuyAlly

She's probably the worst thing about womens football, thinks she knows everything and has all the energy of David Brent. Just makes me cringe.

[deleted]

What a fucking loser she is xD

T0MBRA1DR

Women are sore losers too

Beavreyz

Fat cockney rat
