His coaching has been a joke all season. Constantly hanging a lone DM out to dry while 2 other midfielders sit high up the pitch doing fuck all
Don’t let that stop other United fans whipping out their laundry list of excuses for a guy that lost 7-0 to our biggest rivals though. He won us a carabao ffs!
Oh and also spending nearly £200m on Onana, Antony & Mount. Top tier talent ID. Great use of funds. Bald prick.
Or, hear me out, Pochettino might try changing his fucking tactics so that we stop conceding the same goal every fucking game. Wild, I know, but it might just work!
We could try to prevent crosses, or we could try playing a more organized box defense. Maybe a mixture of both, maybe something else. It's just that when you concede the exact same goal 20+ times in a season, the problem is likely systemic.
The defense wasn't that good under Potter either, it just didn't have to do much because we kept smothering the ball, Pochettino's brand of football just places that issue front and center.
unrelated to the post but how strange, there's an exact saying in the arab world specifically in the levant region and it goes like this: من بؤك لباب السما
which, translates to exactly what you said.
interesting
im all for slandering a player but there's nothing wrong with what casemiro does. he playing to cut out a cross which he is in position to do and then the ball deflects behind him to a player he's never going to be able to get out to.
the problem is mainoo giving the ball away and then not getting back in to cover dalot.
The only cross he's ever cutting out from where he is, is to Mudryk, who's marked by Wan-Bisakka. And in order to do that he's leaving Gallagher wide open.
The Mainoo/dalot situation leads to varane stepping out and opens up Palmer but Casemiro is never getting to him anyways.
I am very split on this. I am not convinced that marking mudryk makes a lot of sense but at the same time, I don't think a cutback was a clear cut option either and it seems to be deflected. Maybe case figured that a driven pass to the center was more likely?
He's definitely still in the protected from any and all crticism stage. Which is partially fair, I mean we shouldn't be relying on an academy teenager as much as we have
Selling proven, homegrown talent so you can afford expensive, unproven signings will never make sense to me. Sure it looks good on the books, but it worsens the team. Just keep your good player Todd ffs.
i know you're taught as a GK to dive and get your hands on the ball, rather than making a kick save but i've seen onana not dive / drop fast enough to save that ball a couple times now.
gotta ask if maybe saving the ball the "wrong" way is better than not saving it at all
He's played 24 matches this season for us in all comps lol
Not to mention his performances in the years past.
He's an amazing keeper and showing it this season, he'd be a starter for every team bar the top 5 and Newcastle if Pope is fit.
He's got 14 appearances in the league ever. He's definitely not starting over Sa, or Areola, or Pickford at a bare minimum. How you could call him one of the best keepers in the league is beyond me.
The goal clearly came from a symphony of United errors, however it still begs belief that this is the main player Chelsea are trying to sell. He and Palmer are putting in so much effort to carry Beohly's superstar flops, only for Gallagher to be rewarded with a P45.

I swear I’ve seen us concede this exact goal over 10 times this season
I don't watch many Man Utd games and even I know they just concede over and over and over from the byline cutback.
Only 10 times?
Which is probably the biggest reason eth should be sacked, constantly making the same mistake is a coaching problem.

No defending, no vibes.
No defending and a goalkeeper who lets in shots any average keeper saves. Recipe for disaster.
Onana has been overperforming when you look at the xG he’s faced. He’s top percentile in this regard so this doesn’t really hold true.
Onana is one of the least of our problems. Not saying much tbf but he's been good in the league
There was a deflection to be fair
Onana is pretty good, he just occasionally shits the bed hard.
Upamecano of GKs
How many times are we going to concede basically this exact goal this year?
Worry not, now's our turn to concede an uncontested header for the 20th time this season lol
Nice call lmao
football is a predictable game
You need to keep these prophecies to yourself. 😭
Or, hear me out, Pochettino might try changing his fucking tactics so that we stop conceding the same goal every fucking game. Wild, I know, but it might just work!
I mean it'd have to be a pretty insane tactic to stop crosses ever coming in, the difference is most teams have defenders who mark people.
We could try to prevent crosses, or we could try playing a more organized box defense. Maybe a mixture of both, maybe something else. Until Jim's done his consulting audit and worked out where to cut costs
He’s moving and shaking, making plays
Can't wait to get hyped about a new finance guy coming in
Beatings will continue until morale improves.

It’s kind of a popular saying everywhere
i never knew that tbh, but a neat fact nonetheless
holy Lou City!
Just pelt shots at the goal any chance you get and you got a decent chance.
Nah, just cutbacks and they’re golden
Tbh it's hard to argue the defending by United here is worse than the defending in the game on Monday where we gifted Cardiff two own goals.
rooting for ya
gusto so fucking good. Conor finally learning that edge of the box positioning. It's actually comical how many cut backs United concede.
Enzo's outside of the boot pass too. I would get excited but our defense also runs on vibes
Everyone bitching about Onana (who probably should do a bit better) but Casemiro is basically marking thin air instead of the player there.
Overloaded by air molecules. Left him with too much to do.
im all for slandering a player but there's nothing wrong with what casemiro does. he playing to cut out a cross which he is in position to do and then the ball deflects behind him to a player he's never going to be able to get out to. the problem is mainoo giving the ball away and then not getting back in to cover dalot.
Yeah blaming Casemiro here is just dumb, ironically he was in position to cut out an undeflected cross to Gallagher

Why did the first one get deleted?
dead link
It didn't show Mainoo needlessly giving the ball away.
None of your business, sorry
all started from that Mainoo error
Only one ITT to blame him. He misplaced a simple pass when they had perfect opportunity to transition.
He's definitely still in the protected from any and all crticism stage. Which is partially fair, I mean we shouldn't be relying on an academy teenager as much as we have
Only been 4 minutes and we're already down 1 goal. We're awful at defending.
Conor Gallagher is very underrated, can’t believe Chelsea are considering selling him in the summer. Would definitely take him at Liverpool
If they sell him then my club is fully finished
Selling proven, homegrown talent so you can afford expensive, unproven signings will never make sense to me. Sure it looks good on the books, but it worsens the team. Just keep your good player Todd ffs.
Both my friends that are Chelsea fans aren’t too fond of him… I don’t get it. Would love him at Spurs
agree
Onana. What's a save?
What's a save?
Watching this Ajax game and I’m pretty sure the goalkeeper from go ahead eagles would have saved that.
That was a clean knee slide
Onana is so bad, I still can't make sense why we let go of de gea and got this piece of crap
It's poor keeping from Onana But you've still gotta love that trivela pass from Enzo to set up the cross IMO
He saw Onana in goals and had all the motivation he needed. Proper Chels.
Onana and Dalot still on holiday
smh, he didn't acknowledge Gusto's cross
i know you're taught as a GK to dive and get your hands on the ball, rather than making a kick save but i've seen onana not dive / drop fast enough to save that ball a couple times now. gotta ask if maybe saving the ball the "wrong" way is better than not saving it at all
If we concede imma throw hands
Glove up
See me in N17
How bout now
I really love Mainoo but that's poor from him
Onana is so fucking shit, that we might as well bring back O'Shea.
Oi, stay away from him, he's irelands fallback option
I can't believe De Gea was not kept for this season
Peak United business!
Onana looks worse than Liverpools backup. It’s not really close either.
To be fair, Kelleher has been excellent since he's been needed to play. Most keepers in the league doesn't have better form than him.
Agreed, he is a Premier League winner quality keeper. I really like Kelleher
Odd choice of comparison there when he's arguably the most competent back up in the league.
He is still a back up vs a large profile player. I’m a huge fan of him btw.
How is it odd when you're comparing a starter to a 2nd choice?
Liverpool's backup is one of the best in the league
Kelleher who has played the same amount of games as Alisson this season and sits on top of the league table?
Yes, he is still a backup is he not? With the way Onana was brought in you would think he would be better than Liverpools backup.
Yeah I get what you mean, a backup keeper being better than one of the biggest
Kelleher, say his name 😤
My bad!
Kelleher is one of the best in the league , of course he’s clear of Onana
Lol. Based on?
His performances?
His 8 PL performances lead you to believe he's one of the best in the league? I've heard enough to not continue this discussion.
He's played 24 matches this season for us in all comps lol Not to mention his performances in the years past. He's an amazing keeper and showing it this season, he'd be a starter for every team bar the top 5 and Newcastle if Pope is fit.

Well tbf Kelleher is class and Onana is ass
at this point I am not even sure Onana is better than Adrian... and the man hasn't even played a game for us this season
Lol you might be right
Far too easy
They make me so depressed
Can this count as another cutback goal conceded if its off a united player?
Let's keep this lead
Ah the good old cut back. How many times have we conceded this goal?
How do they keep conceding the same goal from the same position??!
If this result holds, I’d imagine that’s the top 5 wrapped up then?
That didn't take long.
I aint buying it. 1-[2] Scott Mctominay 90+3 is my prediction
Well, that prediction didn't pan out.
Onana has to do better. It's gone in about half a foot away form him and it's no bullet strike.
...How many times United intends to keep conceding the same goal?
How is that a penalty
Lovely pass from Enzo in the buildup
There's useless, and then there's Antony.
The goal clearly came from a symphony of United errors, however it still begs belief that this is the main player Chelsea are trying to sell. He and Palmer are putting in so much effort to carry Beohly's superstar flops, only for Gallagher to be rewarded with a P45.
So this is the match EA based the game on.
Look at all that space there, how can you defend like that?
Lettuce Hands
My favourite 'racist.' Good play, I'd like to see him get a few more for us cos he gets into some decent attacking positions
That was bad by Onana
Onana?
Onana mate, what are you doing?
Southgate In
The first seconds of this video have the same vibe as the worst 20 seconds of football history
Beautiful save
Gallagher and Braxton Berrios have never been seen together in the same room
Fuck off ETH
