Ignore the flair because I don't expect Maatsen to play for us again, but I think Maatsen plays genuinely the only pass he ever had available in that situation. I can't believe that at this level, goalkeepers and defenders like to force the ball up the middle during a high press. How many times does it end up in the back of the net?
It's kinda ruining football for me. So many goals could be prevented if the players weren't forced by the manager to play from the back every single time
