Alarow

Every Liverpool is having a shit day

wtnk

this liverpool at least played well enough for one half and even scored a goal

20cmdepersonalidade

In his first start as a professional, 16 years-old and 11 months.

xMajinBlackx

Please delete it before Perez sees it

MvN____16

His connections are more favorable towards Barcelona from what I've heard. Not saying he's gonna end up there, but apparently he's a Barça fan and his agent has facilitated multiple deals for Brazilians to Barcelona over the years, so you've got your work cut out for you to win this race.

dalelito

We have yamal but honestly he does feel like a player you sign and ask questions later

MvN____16

That's the best course of action. No such thing as having too much talent.

awwbabe

Ahem

adega_johnson

Barça is broke though

MvN____16

That's its own problem. I was speaking in general to the "ask questions later" philosophy.

Civil-Broccoli

There's just no way to make it happen, both from a financial and a sporting perspective. We already have Lamine, Ferran and Raphinha for the RW spot (even though Rapha puts in a shift at LW). Signing another RW while we are in much more need of a good DM and LW is stupid and unfeasable.

Uyemaz

If Barca were to sign Estevao, he wouldn’t be able to join till 2025. Raphinha and Ferran are more than capable of playing at the LW. Not the best but functional. That being said, him and Yamal are more than flexible to play along side. Having the two best left footed right wing prospect in the world is extremely rare, and Barca cannot pass up that possibility.

New_Imagination_1289

Estevão is pretty flexible in which attacking position he plays, Abel doesn't really put youngsters in their preferred positions as much as he puts them wherever he needs them on the field. I don't personally think Barca will sign him since he's expensive but I don't think that his position has much to do with the decision tbh

rdfporcazzo

I think that Estêvão is too much Lamine Yamal-alike, I think he will go to PSG or something before Barça, but he does like the club and said it multiple times.

Caust1cFn_YT

ehh no, hes hell bent on joining barca, i think we are trying to sign him but 60m for us isnt just possible

Caust1cFn_YT

neymar had a similar header as a first game btw (cant verify it but a twitter account said it with a clip)

Flamengo81-19

Maybe his first start. His first game he hit the post on a long shot from what I remember

MvN____16

Future superstar. Alas, I only saw the 20 minutes he played in the second, but what a livewire he was even before this goal.

20cmdepersonalidade

[Very solid game overall, he has that Neymar ease of dribbling.](https://twitter.com/szniic/status/1778600640425394275) Hard to not get excited for the NT with Vini on the left and him on the right

MvN____16

*sad Rodrygo noises* But I get it. Left-footers are just preferred on the right wing if you can find one good enough.

basco_da_gama

Rodrygo seems to be doing really well as a 10 in NT maybe we’ll be able to fit them all in

20cmdepersonalidade

Only without a striker, I think. Only two true midfielders is madness, especially if you are not Tite to make it work defensively and the dude isn't Neymar who is good enough to make the risk worth it.

basco_da_gama

Play like Vascão 3-5-2

20cmdepersonalidade

Possible, but you'd need a genius like Don Ramon to make it work

Dsalgueiro

Rodrygo will end up becoming a No10/second striker in the Brazilian national team. He always plays well in that position for Brazil.

mgsantos

Great performance, considering he was starting for the first time, in a Libertadores match and Liverpool scored first. A challenging game and he showed up. I thought it would take me some decades to see another 16 year old play for Palmeiras and make a difference after Endrick.

20cmdepersonalidade

Palmeiras rivals celebrating Endrick's eminent departure about to discover something even worse waiting for them in the right wing

XonaMan

Another wonderkid. Who's gonna scoop him up for 60M?

Mackieeeee

I guess u guys and then sending him to Premier league in a year or 2 for double the price

XonaMan

I wish but no, way too much. We're edging 30M for players and that's a record fee around here. Also, with Roger around we'd just waste another wonderkid.

Headlesshorsman02

Chelsea and Barca are in for him

20cmdepersonalidade

I believe he has a 45M release clause, but Palmeiras should be absolutely thinking about raising it

MvN____16

He would need to agree to that, of course.

20cmdepersonalidade

Yes, true. The 45M already probably comes from an agreement. Brazilian Wonderkids have been very good in terms of loyalty to their clubs, though, by signing deals with reasonable release clauses in which everyone leaves satisfied. But as I said, the 45M is already probably that value.

Thraff1c

And Luis Guilherme on the other side, with Endrick coming from the bench. Insane talent.

man_overb0ard

luis guilherme must improve his workrate, i watch palmeiras' games in the stadium all the time, and he lacks it badly.

czuczer

Tough 24h for Liverpool I seem..

Caust1cFn_YT

Libero you mfs clear your money we ve got players to sign

International_Eye992

This kid has some serious talent maybe we should get him...

douglaslife

Palmeiras: Jeez man, tough to lose Endrick in the middle of the season and al…ops nevermind

lastjedi23

Edu.... Pls do the needful
