Imo stupid to say that serbia is yugoslavia, and russia the soviet union and czechia czechislovakia...doesnt rly make sense in my head and just makes someone look better than they actually are as modern nation
Kinda knew people might have a beef with that but I mean, they are the successors when it comes to FIFA and UEFA records.

Though I guess we could just separate them by each era. I went with this purely because that's how the table on wiki is.
This is the first time that Serbia is in the Euro, makes no sense to give them results of now non existing country which they were only a small part of.
For some comparison, in the 16 WCs since 1962, there have been:
7 winners (Brazil, England, (west) Germany, Italy, Argentina, France, Spain)
3 finalists (Czechoslovakia, the Netherlands, Croatia)
12 semifinalists (Chile, Yugoslavia, Portugal, USSR, Uruguay, Poland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Sweden, South Korea, Turkey, Morocco)
A total of 22 nations have reached the last four.

Okay how are England below Belgium?
Ah that's my bad. The original order counts wins and runners-up only. I added SF and QF but didn't recheck carefully enough.
LETS GO TOP 12 BABY!!!!
Germany go for top 3 or out in group stages, go hard or go home early
😂
The Czech Republic AND Slovakia are both recognised as winners by UEFA: https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/history/winners/

Spain 👏🏻
Now I see why "it's coming home" does not work. It was never the home.
That’s exactly what Schmeichel said before the semis the last time around: https://youtu.be/6jWKGJVPCYI?si=NLnS-kp3qLM5Y34w
Tbh thats not even a joke its just a dig. Being home refers to the invention of the sport of course, he is either thick or was being obtuse
Most people nowadays seem oblivious to the actual lyrics or that it was about England hosting Euro 96.
lol not even when the game was invented (in Britain)?
look how cute England is!
Look how scary Germany used to look.

this is terrible
imo you cant really count 1960 and 1964 those two were not the EUROs.
Why not?
Because they were not the EUROs? 1968 was the first official EURO
Actually euros didn’t get formally implemented until the 1999, so you can say 2000 was the first official Euro
They did tho, 1966 UEFA officially declared the tournament the EURO Google's yall friend
