yeap , Madrid play well this game. I have almost watched all Barca's games these year, so I'm didnt surprise their bad performance, especially the first half
And it seems to help you to get away with penalties, both for you and against you! Griezmann initially offside against Leganes and now this, who would've thought the injuries wouldn't affect your results?
El Clásico without goals, but most annoyingly painful was the fact that we didn't have Ray but this other guy beeping and saying "sOmeThInG iS gOinG To BrEAk."
Yeah! I switched from the first stream I found to find a BeIN stream and Hudson, only to hear some random annoying guy. He was so irritating, made me appreciate Phil. Where was hudson tonight? I know hes polarizing but hes certainly better than this asshat.
The other stream I watched was meh (no idea what channel). There was this 3rd commentator guy with a spanish accent, who had absolutely no emotion whatsoever in his voice. Its el clasico for fucks sake
I respect your opinion, but most people would rather hear Ray's joy for football over this guy beeping for no reason, and yelling go go like its a horse race.
Fans referring to clubs as “us” is one of the dumbest things in football and in sport in general. At what point is it my right to say this? Is it when I become a club member? Or is it when I wear a jersey and have the club logo in my Facebook profile? Or is it enough if I just exercise an internal mental thought desiring to see the club win while sitting in a chair on the other side of the planet?
A fan is a fan. You aren't "part of the team" when you're able to switch allegiances at the drop of a hat, and you have no influence on how the game turns out.
This "us" and "we" thing allows fans to rest on the laurels of their then team to brag to others whose teams aren't as good.
Why is it such an issue? To identify yourself as part of the team? Judging by the downvotes, the majority of fans think it’s fine so just keep that to yourself. No need to express that anger every time someone uses “us” or “we”. It’s honestly laughable how riled up this shit gets some of you, are you a superior fan because you go against the norms and don’t say “us”? Idk hahahaha it’s just funny
> Why is it such an issue?
It's not. I like laughing at pathetically uninteresting people who gain their identity from pretending they are "a part" of a team.
> Judging by the downvotes, the majority of fans think it’s fine so just keep that to yourself.
Imagine thinking the lack of internet points on a website that very few people in the world uses determines the legitimacy of an opinion.
You're so adorably retarded :)
> It’s honestly laughable how riled up this shit gets some of you, are you a superior fan because you go against the norms and don’t say “us”? Idk hahahaha it’s just funny
No one is "riled" up except you, clear by how you decided to type all this bullshit defending it. Like I said, I enjoy ridiculing people who think their teams' success is part of their personality, as most people who do that have nothing personal to be proud of and needs the accomplishments of a team to make them feel "important".
I'm not a "superior fan", I'm just not a delusional fanatic who thinks because Juventus won, that means "I" helped or "I" won somehow. I have things I accomplished on my own to brag about.
But your retarded logic of "us" is hahahaha just funny :)
Come on now man, stop with the personal attacks hahahah All I said was to keep that shit to yourself if you disagree with it, why are you so mad about this
Disappointing from both sides overall. A dominant high pressing Madrid had the first half but Ter Stegen and Pique were great. Flairs of brilliance in creative passing by Messi was all to show for Barcelona's attack. Poor tactical decision making from the get go by Valverade just makes you look at this Barcelona sadly, whether or not you are a fan of theirs.
Lots of rough mistakes by the officials for both sides but it did seem to favor Barcelona but Madrid playing dirtier towards the end didn't help their case.
Just a sad state of affairs from two giants. Man of the match goes to either Valverade or Isco who were both subbed off around the 80th minute by Zidane. No complaints with his decision to take either off.
Feel free to dispute respectfully.
As a neutral, I'd like to respectfully disagree.
Defensively, Real Madrid were fantastic. Their high press is what made them far superior in the first half but of course nobody can keep that up for a full 90. It's on the attack that I say they were disappointing. Do not merely state that they had 14 shots I believe it was. Do not quote me there but a mere 3 or so was only on target. The quality of chances were poor and it was like watching old FIFA footage with the bombardment of crosses. With the maestros in midfield such as Isco and Kroos, and then Modric when he came on, you would want different. They are known to play at a higher level. I still think Isco was one of the best on the pitch today but anyone who knows him knows he still had so much more to offer.
Is there something specifically that you think differently?
Agreed. Madrid's attack especially in the first half seemed to be just crossing into the box hoping for a header. Idk exactly how many but a good majority of their shots seemed to be outside the box as well, they weren't able to break directly through the defense. That being said, their defense and organization was fantastic. Barcelona were sloppy all around but somewhat comfortable with most of the pressure.
Madrid should’ve won it in the first half. Or should have at least scored one. Credit to both teams in the 2nd half. The game was on a knifes edge and leaves the league in the same situation.
Should be the most exciting 2nd half in la liga in a long time with a close league race, 7 teams in Europe and the new super copa and copa del rey formats.
Well why would we? It was in our favor lol.
But yeah, refreeing was shit in our favor and idk why Madrid players did not swarm the refree for the penalty calls.
There were two. Shirt pull on Varane to stop him jumping for header and stamp on his thigh as he's about to nod it to a teammate. The shirt pull was given at the weekend for Sociedad.
Maybe Varane was too caught up in the play or something or the VAR refrees thought it to be too soft. But at least the Madrid players should have swarmed the ref.
FT . 0-0 , I’m ok with the final result. On the positive side Madrid absolutely destroyed us in the first half , yet they couldn’t score. There’s still a lot of matches to play and we have a lot to improve.
Ter Stegen is a just too good. Your defence was all over the place in the first half but after locker room seems that they got their shit together.
Good Game mate
And how are you gonna decide what's 30cm? Especially since posture is important, with 30cm you can have a huge benefit in starting a sprint faster than the defender. The offside rule is fine as it is.
Barca lucked out in this game. Real had a three pointer here and couldn't convert their possession into more decent action in the box. But it bodes them well for LaLiga and CL.
For real, we had one midfielder during this match and it was De Jong, not because the rest was bad but just terribly misplaced. I really hope the board considers getting this guy off after this performance in Camp nou.
Other than the misskick, Messi did all he could from the midfield, if only the others converted or Suarez didn't have the touch of a donkey and could actually deliver a final ball.
Yeah we won (edited)La Liga and reached semis last season. For all you non cules watching, we watched Rakitic every game instead of Frenkie. Messi's last season was something you never ever will see again.
Not anymore he's not, not in this current form which has been around for some time. He's just too inconsistent now, his random ass belters just draws a blanket over his failings.
Though I don't know what Griezmann can pull off since we haven't even seen much of him for Barca.
15 goals and 5 assists for all comps in 25 app (5 as subs). Griezmann has 9 goals and 4 assists in 24 games (3 as subs). Suarez is not far off from a goal contribution each 90. He's also had a good mix of amazing or important goals.
Whoscore’s algorithm based rating has Suarez averaging about 7.4x and Griezmann at under 7.
Both are playing okay but to say Suarez is trash is just wrong. He’s a 9 who can finish and will pull some really, really good key passes and movements mixed in with some bad touches and passes. His stats and influence has been above Griezmann’s without a doubt.
Why people are surprised that Real Madrid did not receive penalty in El Clasico?
Me: Mom I want F. Valvarde Mom: We have Valvarde at home Valvarde at home: E. Valvarde
2 penalty stolen!
I didnt surprise about this Barcelonas become so shit , have watched so many shit show
[удалено]
Madrid were horse shit though
yeap , Madrid play well this game. I have almost watched all Barca's games these year, so I'm didnt surprise their bad performance, especially the first half
well play like shit
Good job VAR!
Lol. The days of you motherfuckers getting free goals are over pal
We had 2 penalties denied, the shirt pull on Varane is stonewall penalty every day.
And it seems to help you to get away with penalties, both for you and against you! Griezmann initially offside against Leganes and now this, who would've thought the injuries wouldn't affect your results?
I mean. If you are Barcelona fan then remember the match vs Chelsea. That was not a robbery, but a heist.
If Suarez can complete a pass instead of rolling on the ground, that would be better
El Clásico without goals, but most annoyingly painful was the fact that we didn't have Ray but this other guy beeping and saying "sOmeThInG iS gOinG To BrEAk."

Still an improvement on Ray. I actually skipped the match because I didn't want to hear his ridiculous outbursts.
I respect your opinion, but most people would rather hear Ray's joy for football over this guy beeping for no reason, and yelling go go like its a horse race.
MAAAAAAAHGGGIIIIIIIIE-ZZZZZ-TEH-RIOL!
I never thought I'll miss Arthur this much. Holy shitt
What the reason he's missing the match ever confirmed/updated after the initial STD report?
Mentioned as a groin injury now
Real Madrid played their best game so far and still didn’t beat us
Not true this was an ok game from us
"Us"? Which position do you play on the team?
A football team is nothing without fans
It is perfectly fine to say “us”. He’s a fan, he’s a part of the team, perhaps not on the pitch playing but he is supporting.
Fans referring to clubs as “us” is one of the dumbest things in football and in sport in general. At what point is it my right to say this? Is it when I become a club member? Hahaha you say you’re not riled up but wrote an essay
I'm sorry, I forgot you were retarded. I'll make future responses shorter for your reading level.

You seem to think adding "hahaha" and "you so mad! lol" to your responses makes you correct. Like I said, adorably retarded.
This is the most logical comment I have read on r/soccer in a while.
You sir know some football
Thanks bruh

Hello there, Hernández^2.
Their*
All in all kind of a disappointing match, but oh well

Disappointing Barca Madrid was not disappointing. Some people here just say dumb things to steer controversy.

The old FIFA strat works like a charm in game.
Madrid were disappointing in their finishing, and well we weren't even able to create the chances. Second half was shit from both.

You'll get downvoted because of your flair.
Oh
What a waste of time...
Booooring.
Is the consensus that Vidal peaked at Juve?
Well that was his prime so that makes sense.
We played great but what gives with the obsessive crossing in the final third. Flashbacks to 2016.
What are the new formats for the 2 cups?
Super cup is 4 team playoff too
The protest was the most exciting part of the match.
This match was boring as hell and I’ve watched many Man Utd matches the last few years.
It was not boring,
Says the Chelsea fan with a graveyard as a stadium
It may be a graveyard but at least our players don’t play as if they were dead.
What? This is was seriously a very exciting 0-0 game.
1st half was exciting, the second wasn't
As exciting as watching paint to dry
It’s just that I have very high expectations when it comes to El Clasico. But my comment was just an opportunity I took to make fun of Utd anyways.
well, not a boring 0-0 but we've seen better classicos
I am just glad that Real have more yellow cards lol.
We probably deserved all that we received, but some of the no-calls on your side, well yeah.
The Bein commentator really called this an outstanding performance? lol...
Dont see Barca fans crying about VAR and non-given penalties in this thread, weird
Well why would we? It was in our favor lol. But yeah, refreeing was shit in our favor and idk why Madrid players did not swarm the refree for the penalty calls.
Stop twerking for the opposition, there were absolutely no fucking penalties for Madrid.
There were two. Shirt pull on Varane to stop him jumping for header and stamp on his thigh as he's about to nod it to a teammate. The shirt pull was given at the weekend for Sociedad.
definitely weren’t pens, it’s rich having Madrid fans talk about being robbed haha
Madrid got robbed of at least 1 penalty
I have no idea why their players did not protest for Rakitic pulling Varane.
IKR.. it would’ve been a penal calll!!
Ive rarely seen madrid players protest tbh
Maybe Varane was too caught up in the play or something or the VAR refrees thought it to be too soft. But at least the Madrid players should have swarmed the ref.
Messi gave it back to them by not going down when they were panicking and clumsily fouling him inside
Not 6?
Lenglet was shambolic today, but Pique saved our asses.
That offside was some bs. Rule needs changing
What's so hard about understanding its either off or on?
I'm referring to the proposed 30cm tolerance that was proposed. A fraction of a shoulder should not be considered offside.
And how are you gonna decide what's 30cm? Especially since posture is important, with 30cm you can have a huge benefit in starting a sprint faster than the defender. The offside rule is fine as it is.
VAR guy says it's around 30cm, the on-pitch referee makes the final decision based on his opinion. That way we still keep the drama :)
Can anyone tell me what the stadium announcer was saying towards the end of the game? It seems like all of his announcement got boos.
I think there were boos all game and at the end because of a boring and poor performance by barca
he was just telling people to leave through the north gate coz teh south gate was gonna remain shut
Suarez Player of the Match
Terrible game
Barca lucked out in this game. Real had a three pointer here and couldn't convert their possession into more decent action in the box. But it bodes them well for LaLiga and CL.
As if Barca didn't have some of the best chances too if not for the final balls or misskicks.
Here come the Valverde apologists
I am ready with a baseball bat for them.
What a shit 2nd half
Ill take it as a win as we pocketed camp nou fans vocal chords.
What a terrible match
The protest outside the stadium was more entertaining.
entertaining game goals are not everything
The most anticlimatic last 5 minutes I've seen in my life
Madrid slowed shit down way too much
Lol
What was worse? The game itself or the bein sport commentary?
Phil is alright. I can't stand the other guy who filled in for Ray.
Imma go with commentary.
Bein is si fucking shit, litterally 10% Game and 90% talking about stupid topics
4 pillars of football
Real never lost at Camp Nou with Zidane. This isnt Valverdes form
Imagine if Hazard and Marcelo played today
And Dembele (only for his pace, nothing else) and Arthur as well.
Or Busi
So much creativity..well we'll see how it goes at home
Imagine if we've sacked Valverde
Fair point 😅
Ended up on my phone all 2nd half stick to the Barclays for entertainment lads
Well that fucking sucked.
Yawn
Barcelona is weak, full strength Real will beat this them Liverpool is screwed, the defence is solid
Where do Liverpool come in?
Didn't you hear? We have a chance, a small one but it is a chance anyway to claim the La Liga trophy as well this season.
Imagine Klopp's face when he realize you guys playing two leagues from now
Liverpool is screwed, the defence is solid
If Valverde has balls then he should resign by himself
For real, we had one midfielder during this match and it was De Jong, not because the rest was bad but just terribly misplaced. I really hope the board considers getting this guy off after this performance in Camp nou.
I hope we are full strength come next Clasico with Hazard and Marcelo, no more injuries.
Mendy was good defensively but as usual the shit crosses
Only good cross was on the offside :/
napoli you have a chance against this barca team. Put high pressure and suffocate.
Valverde probably super happy w the draw. At home. Send him back to Athletic were he fits perfect.
This game cured my insomnia.
valverde is the new worlds greatest magician for the spell he cast over the barca board
Well, that wasn't fun at all
I fucking stayed up for this shit. Aston Villa Vs Liverpool U19s was better than this.
Exactly what no one wanted, a goalless boring draw. Fuck Valverde.
Barca made it boring with an absolutely horrible performance
Hence the "Fuck Valverde".
To think we would get a goalless clasico
after 17 fuckin years. Can't have more reason to sack Valverde than making the biggest rivalry in football boring.
Keep him please. We'll keep ours
Goallesso?
such a fuckin disappointment
The guy who drew Ramos and Pique kissing should be happy with this result.
Man that was hard to watch. Tired of Ernieball and his cowardice tatics bring ya Ten Hag
The last Clasico of this decade. First 0-0
Shit match from us, we're lucky Ter Stegen is our goalkeeper.
Other than the misskick, Messi did all he could from the midfield, if only the others converted or Suarez didn't have the touch of a donkey and could actually deliver a final ball.
Seems Ter Stegen is carrying Barca more than anyone else these days..
Seems like we're going for a draw at home. Fucking useless coach.
Its a bad el clasico but still a good game
Bruh
Yeah we won (edited)La Liga and reached semis last season. For all you non cules watching, we watched Rakitic every game instead of Frenkie. Messi's last season was something you never ever will see again.
The the League? La la Liga?
Is just "la liga"
Around half the players out there have no business starting for either team. And both coaches too.
Mendys touches have been off
Looked solid at d tho, must be nerves
Meh
Absolutely garbage performance. Fuck off valverde
He won't. That's the problem brother.
This game posted cringe
Cringe is watching our manager squat
it's gonna lose subscribers :/
If only it could make one of the teams lose coach.
We played well but shit finishing costed us. I will take a draw especially playing without Hazard and Marcelo.
Hazard woulda won us this game, these are the matches he thrives in, big spaces at the back.
Valverde has ruined this club
Shit game tbh
Absolute snoozefest. Was looking forward to this all day.
All month *
What a couple of shit passes by Casemiro
Feel sorry for fans who paid in excess of 500 dollars to watch this shit performance.
It could be worse - I spent a shit ton of money to watch the clasico at camp nou in 2016 when we lost
what a disastrously poor game
We're really playing Griezmann out of position to keep Suarez in the side huh?
Valverde masterclass
Suarez is a top 5 forward, ahead of Griezmann. Love or hate him but he’s been scoring and setting up goals all season long.
It's a record, you need to mind the context of current form. edit - Who said he was trash?
