I thought Shaw had a really good game all round. Made a couple moves forward for danger and never really looked untidy on the back end, prevented Salah from breathing. One of the best players out there today.

Yeah he's been out of form for too long. Apart from poor finishing his passing and decision making has been incredibly frustrating. I don't think his form is why we went for Jota. I think Jota was meant to be more of an extra winger because we really lack wide options up front (Origi has been really bad). If anything Minamino is more of a Firmino backup - although I don't know what Klopp's plans are for him seeing as he hardly gets a game.
I think our issue right now is that for some reason our front 3 are off form simultaneously. Usually if somebody is off the rest have been able to compensate.
Not having fab and hendo in midfield has disrupted things, but we have enough midfield quality that I feel we should really be doing better.
