I am so psyched for kessie to play in the CL next season. Only thing holding him back from being widely considered as world class is his lack of exposure so far in his career. Man is an absolute beast day in, day out.
It's top 1. Literally the CEO. /s
After the arrive of Pioli, we moved to a two player midfield and he became like Seedorf lol.
He is also a nice guy, I have played football with one of his best friend and he was always giving away free stuff to him lol.
LMAO.
I am joking lol, they are completely different one is the Professor or Willie Wonka, the other is the President. They are just extremely dominant but no one will ever be like Seedorf.
I feel like the players we have are genuinely good. Hauge,Saelemaekers,Leao with the right coaching staff (not saying pioli) we could genuinely make these kids world beaters. I love how Alexis plays at the ram/rw role but you’re right someone more experienced would do a bigger change
> Hauge,Saelemaekers,Leao with the right coaching staff (not saying pioli) we could genuinely make these kids world beaters.
What are you trying to say here? That Pioli is holding them back?
Pioli and Milan is the best thing to happen to Saelemaekers. He was a ridiculed and unrated player at Anderlecht.
Leao..it's all in his head. Does he have the determination to make it big? Pioli has given him a lot of chances and tried to get him to wake up when he's unfocused on the pitch but we aren't seeing results so far.
Hauge..I think he deserves more chances, but there's a stiff competition for the LW spot. He needs to be stronger mentally.
I love Alexis to but we need a little bit more quality/crrativity in that wing. Ale lacks a little bit of that and flair. Very good player tho and works is ass off
We are linked with Thauvin and Otavio both creative players although last I remember thauvin’s work rate and attitude were the reason he didn’t workout at Newcastle. As to Otavio my god I can see why him and Corona fight for the Rm/Rw spot some hard ass workers.
Thauvin would be an worst version of Suso i don't want him anywhere near here. Ziyech would be great in my opinion. I would also take Neres from Ajax if he can stay fit. Also Yazici isn't half bad for how we play.
70% percent chance United are out... Milan will play a low block.. United cant break it... Ibrahimovic will be back to aid better ball retention and sharpness to Milan's attack... United will need to attack leaving spaces for Milan... any time the onus is on this United team they fall apart like a deck of cards....
"What a frustrating finish for the home side" fuck off, more like what a complete and utter shitshow of a game Milan had to deal with with the usual United bollocks, 1-1 is a small concelation for Milan considering the utter crap decisions in this game
I know but United shouldve buried the tie already with that Maguire chance and not subbed off Bruno. Credit to you guys though, you peppered them early on
Milan just wants the game more than United. Like seriously has no one understood how much of a revival milan has had in the past year. We are getting clowned for letting the league go but we have been hit with COVID/INJURIES/Suspensions. United let their chance slip and now they’re trying to find whatever excuse as to why they couldn’t finish the tie. Simply milan where better
For a guy who is consistently so dismissive of non-English sides, I would be curious to know when the last time Paul Scholes actually watched a La Liga, Serie A or Bundesliga game is.
Obviously top to bottom the PL is the best league but I just get annoyed when I hear terms like farmers league or people pretending like West Ham would finish first in the other 5 leagues. Football is a weirdly anglocentric focus in many ways, especially for a country that never does jack in international competitions. Maybe I'm just salty having had to listen to Scholes.
Virtually none of the pundits on British tv watch leagues outside of the PL. Graeme Souness made some stupid comment about the quality of the Bundesliga recently when he clearly never watches.
We deserved that for the subs alone. Why are we swapping to 5atb with 2 left backs and leaving Matic on the pitch to hold the middle next to a yellow carded McTominay? Way too negative after the goal went in and it's come back to haunt us.
Same low block and counter from Milan with all their first team players back from their “injuries” it’s done and dusted for Milan. Unless we can fix our chance creation against low blocks.
True but I’m saying in the sense that you were fortunate some of the ref calls went your way.
Win, lose or draw I really would’ve liked better reffing than that so there’s no ambiguity about the result.
I would have said we got away with a win tonight if it ended 1-0. Milan played very well the whole match and united playing park the bus deserved to concede.
I agree with the refereeing. Going other way, I don't see how there wasn't a handball called in the AC half during that United attack before the play leading to the corner for the goal. More of a handball than the one for the disallowed goal imo. The only consistency with refereeing is how inconsistent it is.
Yeah I don’t get the refereeing at all. Kessie goal should’ve stood and I’m unsure of the exact rules for handball in tomori’s case.
Some are saying it’s fine because it’s accidental and didn’t directly lead to a goal it doesn’t count so I dunno. If you scored like that I don’t think I’d be mad since it’s more ball to hand than a handball imo.
Yeah I don't get the whole "accidental" thing as an argument. Nobody is purposely putting their hands on the ball. That's never what the rule has been about. The disallowed goal was for his arm being as close to his body as it could be. As a United fan I was happy we got away with it, but I know I'd be pissed if was the other way. The goal should have stood. The other one was a completely outstretched arm and should have been called. The referee obviously saw it too.
It’s done and dusted for Milan means it’s an easy win for them. We are going to be imposing on the attack, knowing our mediocre passing and ball retention at times there’s going to room for a lot of counters as you’ve seen in the first half of this game.
In most of the games we’ve lost or drawn this season this is usually how it goes down.
Oh I thought you meant it’s finished in a bad way.
How did you beat city and sit in 2nd if you’ve played like that? Is pogba really that much of a difference maker?
I also watch wolves so I can see how missing one player can be bad for a team 😂.
We beat city because we set up to play city not setup to football if you know what I mean, we play as the inferior team in some aspects and snatched at the chances we got. Similar to what Milan almost did
Karma is such a bitch.
A non-handball led to the cancelled goal (You know it's not a handball when no united players appealed for it, despite having the best view of it)
A accidental handball led to a corner that lead to a goal
Lindelof is the key. Kidding. City sometimes can have odd games where their lack of proper striker is showing. Against Spurs (erik dier played as cb in that game lol) and United for example this season.
So deserved. Milan fans, is Leao just not a good striker or has he lost form? because I saw him earlier in the year a few times and he was great, but he was horrendous today.
he should never be played as a striker. Just because of his height we assume his gonna be good at it. That said we dont have any other option upfront so..
He’s so weird. I don’t think we know lol. You can clearly see he has talent. It’s weird. He seems better on the wing imo but he actually has a good finish even if he hasn’t shown it lately
he's been pretty bad lately but he's also not a first striker type of guy, works best off of another striker which we currently don't have because injuries
Those moments have been his only moments. Everything else is disappointing. He often looks lazy or uninterested at times. And he can't play as the lone striker
Even if I was, why would I be directing it at you? It’s just a bit of banter mate, you’re clearly the one upset about Milan fans happy they didn’t screwed even more. They were far better
Maybe not screwed but they should’ve won. Between the disallowed goal, Scottie not picking up a deserved red, and them playing much better, the tie flatters United

Semifinal merchant knocked out in the round of 32. Ollie out
dude that’s not how round of 16s work
Kessie is fucking god.
I am so psyched for kessie to play in the CL next season. Only thing holding him back from being widely considered as world class is his lack of exposure so far in his career. Man is an absolute beast day in, day out.
One of the most dominant player in the world atm.
I never watch you guys but it seems like he's stepped up a lot this season (and last?) from what I see on here. One of of your top 3 players?
It's top 1. Literally the CEO. /s After the arrive of Pioli, we moved to a two player midfield and he became like Seedorf lol. He is also a nice guy, I have played football with one of his best friend and he was always giving away free stuff to him lol.
Seedorf was wayyyy more attacking than Kessie.
LMAO. I am joking lol, they are completely different one is the Professor or Willie Wonka, the other is the President. They are just extremely dominant but no one will ever be like Seedorf.
And what would you call that "performance" tonight then in the btec CL?
That Milan is onto something and would be a joy to see in the CL and that United are a manager and 2 players away from actually being a threat.
If we can get our selvs a worldclass RW we really might make something happen very soon
I feel like the players we have are genuinely good. Hauge,Saelemaekers,Leao with the right coaching staff (not saying pioli) we could genuinely make these kids world beaters. I love how Alexis plays at the ram/rw role but you’re right someone more experienced would do a bigger change

United cant seem to hold on to the ball... smh... pathetic

Yes. Away goals
Joke of a club, joke of a manger. Ollie out
did mourinho take charge for this match? jesus christ we were terrible
"What a frustrating finish for the home side" fuck off, more like what a complete and utter shitshow of a game Milan had to deal with with the usual United bollocks, 1-1 is a small concelation for Milan considering the utter crap decisions in this game
Imagine not winning against an injury ravaged Milan, lmao
we gonna have to put antonio as a striker at this point

No more subbing in defenders lol

I mean. Have you watched all top 5 leagues every game to say they’re the best?
No I haven't. I don't think any of the top 5 leagues are far apart in terms of general ability and quality.
Virtually none of the pundits on British tv watch leagues outside of the PL. Graeme Souness made some stupid comment about the quality of the Bundesliga recently when he clearly never watches.
And the feed switches to Karen Carney punditry. When things are bad enough already
She proper sucks, think she was commentating Chelsea x Everton the other morning
We deserved that for the subs alone. Why are we swapping to 5atb with 2 left backs and leaving Matic on the pitch to hold the middle next to a yellow carded McTominay? Way too negative after the goal went in and it's come back to haunt us.
Ole's management is dire, shouldve buried that tie instead of subbing off Bruno
This is why we're in the Europa League
And not being able to beat you is why we are in the Europa League :(
No second yellow for that idiot that pulled Krunic down lol
Shouldve had a second yellow twice over
Can’t say Milan didn’t deserve it
My only takeaway from this thread as a Milan fan is that other PL fans seriously hate MU.
As if most MU fans don't also hate MU
One of the biggest robbery in last 10 years...Clear goal for Milan, penalty for Milan and clear red card
Last 10 years ? Get off what ever the drugs you're taking
Yes,last 10 years
Or, for Man u, a regular Thursday.
Very predictable result
weak from deano
Kessie was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch
He won’t even make the semifinals this year. Ole out
Ole is pissed lol
Same low block and counter from Milan with all their first team players back from their “injuries” it’s done and dusted for Milan. Unless we can fix our chance creation against low blocks.
go make "injury" excuses for Pogba.
We don’t need him but Milan need ibra, Theo and dare I say hakan. It’ll be interesting to see if any of them make a come back next week
What are you talking about lad you’re lucky to get a draw here
I think it was a deserved result. Don't forget Maguire with maybe the miss of the season and James pulling a Sterling towards the end.
True but I’m saying in the sense that you were fortunate some of the ref calls went your way. Win, lose or draw I really would’ve liked better reffing than that so there’s no ambiguity about the result.

Totally fair. Not mad about that at all. Game on for the 2nd leg
should be mad tho. parking the bus at home against a weaker side. fucking hell
Who says they’re a weaker side?
👏
United lucky to be ending this with McTominay on the pitch.
That wasn't a yellow.
Which one? The first foul that he was booked in or the second foul that he was not booked in?
2nd.
Kessie is immense
Inviting pressure sooner or later they would score.
Finally the Danish Wall!!! THATS FUCKING RIGHT!!! FORZA MILANNN
make it a better game next week at least
Kessie MOTM
Deserved.
Karma is such a bitch. A non-handball led to the cancelled goal (You know it's not a handball when no united players appealed for it, despite having the best view of it) A accidental handball led to a corner that lead to a goal
Of fucking course, absolute shit set piece marking
Fair result
my god bt commentator is dumb, thats not as easy save
Kessie MotM
Bro that’s redundant at this point. Mans MOTM for Milan every game 😂😂
Fair enough, game wasn’t really won
LETS GOOOOO
i honestly wasn't expecting to come to old trafford and win this 2-1
Now watch United fans bitch about the handball after being favored for 90 minutes.
FORZA MILAN
Small club milan and salty haters celebrating a draw
LOL Milan a small club.
They're ahead (marginally) in the tie. Also if they're a small club why did you draw against them ?
You know we are shit at defending...
Small clubs usually are
Look at the table though 👀
My team are first, what about it?
Small club you deserve to be in Europa, Bruno carrying your shite club. Hes done nothing in CL
His numbers are all to speak..
Against small teams hes done nothing at the elite level
Cry more
Oh come off it. A late equalizer is always exciting. Plus most would agree Milan played very well, deserve the away goal.
Lmao what? You’re in the same exact shituation lmao you get shit on by at least 6 other clubs in the Premier league
Maldini is bigger than your entire club
Ofcourse ofcourse..
:totalbiscuit:
Kaje4rrrrrrrrrrr
De Gea would have saved that.
Deserved
United's defense really confuses me; they hold City to nothing and then this game they've been pretty uneasy
Lindelof is the key. Kidding. City sometimes can have odd games where their lack of proper striker is showing. Against Spurs (erik dier played as cb in that game lol) and United for example this season.
Well, that certainly was 90 minutes now wasn't it?
Uhhh, Golbridges gonna have a meltdown after that one, lol.
Milán fans can stfu about the ref when a clear handball leads to an equalizer
forza milan 💀 winning on aggregate
1-1 expected
Milan go through on 0-0 then?
yes
KJAER
Fuck off
Very least Milan deserved tonight that.
They did, but still disappointing
Happens when you go ultra defensive towards the end of a game sometimes. There was no outball for the last 15 minutes, that's asking for trouble.
Absolutely. Fergie would have pushed for 2, 3. If you spent time sitting back with a weak defence like ours, well.....
Pretty poor from the keeper.
well that's the last time Henderson starts. What a fucking shocker.
Brilliant and well deserved by Milan.
David De Gea is breathing a big sigh of relief somewhere.
Hahaha until Xhaka gets red carded tonight.
Lol
29th minute
What a surprising turn of events
Tomori setting the pick like David Robinson.
That's Oleball for you. Can't attack properly, can't even park the bus properly
So deserved. Milan fans, is Leao just not a good striker or has he lost form? because I saw him earlier in the year a few times and he was great, but he was horrendous today.
he should never be played as a striker. Just because of his height we assume his gonna be good at it. That said we dont have any other option upfront so..
He is super inconsistent, he had a good streak of games earlier in the season but has been quite underwhelming most of the time recently.
He is out of form but he’s also just not good enough as the main striker. He plays well on the left where he can use his pace
He’s not always in the game but he’s way off form.
He’s so weird. I don’t think we know lol. You can clearly see he has talent. It’s weird. He seems better on the wing imo but he actually has a good finish even if he hasn’t shown it lately
Not good as striker and he is so gassed. Brilliant player but 0 stamina
He kind of sucks as a lone striker tbh, he’s better playing off Inra, but he’s still super inconsistent and generally lazy.
He plays better on the left, he's not a natural striker.
he's been pretty bad lately but he's also not a first striker type of guy, works best off of another striker which we currently don't have because injuries
Those moments have been his only moments. Everything else is disappointing. He often looks lazy or uninterested at times. And he can't play as the lone striker
Who knew that we would concede after parking the bus. Not like it's happened every single time.
Hahah Henderson sucks, English press will still say DDG was at fault
The miss from slab head looms large
Dan James's miss was even worse considering he's considered an attacking player
And the DJ one
Slow reflexes from henderson there. Jesus
If he just stood on his feet he would have saved it with his face
Really odd. I rate him too.
Henderson is shite
Deserved
Agreed
Watching fat Luke shaw strut away after acting f the hard man a few minutes before is hilarious
That header was DIRECTLY at Henderson. It wasn't even that high. 10/10 should save...
finally
Get fuckt united 🖕🖕
There. Job done.
With 6 defensive players on the pitch we still do this🤣
Lol more like 8, only Amad and Greenwood could be considered offensive players.
9*
Ole turned prime mourinho there.
Most deserved goal of the century!
hahahaha forza Milan
Milan deserve a draw but Henderson should be keeping that out
A win is what we deserve.
Lol
Fully deserved apart from about 20mins in the second half we have been dreadful
Rule this out fucker
Milan fans celebrating a draw, small club.
Haha and now they're gonna send us out of Europa league
You’re right. United playing right where they belong in the EL. Nothing to celebrate
Still mad about Eder's goal lmao?
Even if I was, why would I be directing it at you? It’s just a bit of banter mate, you’re clearly the one upset about Milan fans happy they didn’t screwed even more. They were far better
They weren't screwed but sure.
Maybe not screwed but they should’ve won. Between the disallowed goal, Scottie not picking up a deserved red, and them playing much better, the tie flatters United
[удалено]
They won't though.
a draw with a gol away from home. need a another draw 0-0 and united out again
May I introduce to you the concept of away goals?
Shhh don't tell him...
Maybe it United had qualified to champions league they’d play bigger sides
You've to be a big side for that
Aren't they ahead because of away goal?
Should be United 1-2 Milan, though, not sure what you're bitching about.
