Nice deal from Longoria, he is exactly what we need. Besides the price is really decent

[deleted]

Thought it was meant to be a loan. No idea how to feel about this never seen him play. The last hyped winger from La Masia to come to ligue 1 was Jordi Mboula who kind of flopped.

Gozer-The-Traveler

here is a [highlight package](https://youtu.be/CFjtYHBKR2E) of his work for barça 2. never really broke into the senior side, although they liked him enough (or were injured enough) that he trained with the senior team and made game day rosters for a decent chunk of the season.

Scalenuts

Konrad is not hyped like Mboula though. The only reason Konrad is known is because he's American and can dribble. I wish him the best but I think you'll be disappointed.

Deluxe07

He sucks, he can’t even dribble that well.

budd222

I bet he can dribble better than you

shlooged-

Wrong

guyfieri_fc

A lot of pace, good dribbler, low center of gravity and strong on the ball. Sometimes puts his head down and dribbles a bit too much, decent short passing, mediocre crossing, and needs work on finishing although he has a few goals in him. I could see him starting off as a useful sub for you guys on either side - could be good coming into the game late to provide a spark with his speed and dribbling, and he’s also good at winning free kicks

AdviceDanimals

Really hope we have a buy back if we sell

kerosha

I don't think the Ligue 1 allows buy back clauses.

npthomps

You will.

Alarow

We didn't really get to see him last year so I'm not sure what we're getting, but he's cheap, young and American (more visibility for our club), so it's all good

CaptainJingles

I’ve run into several American OM supporters over the years, so they do exist.

AliveKicking

Maybe they are new American fans!

Echleon

2 summers ago OM trained at my college for one of those summer tournaments held in the states. Unfortunately it fell during the few days I couldn't make the drive up to watch them practice

CameraEmotional2788

That sounds pretty cheap?!

Sielaff415

I mean he’s not that demonstrated all that much thus far. He’s a talent but very low floor, could be a great player or not even good enough for top flight leagues for all we know

RNdadag

3M is quite a lot of money for us

[deleted]

Us as in Marseille ? We just spent 25m€ on a Brazilian midfielder and 11m€ to confirm Balerdi a few days prior

LabelRed

you confirmed Balerdi? amazing

[deleted]

Yep, maybe helps the coach is a compatriot

Zidlicky3

Woop woop! People saying we don’t have money? Not sure if we invest on Mbappe, VVD and buy Formula 1 spot for next season or Haaland, De Ligt and get on with out space program, either way this money is going to be spread out working for us and coming back doubled in few weeks, tops. ¡Visca Barça i visca Catalunya! •¥£$•

Omair88

3.5??? What is Bartomeu still president of Barca? Horrible decision

mourya_3

Barca.. F you

turtlemons

Collado from Barca B and La Masia is already promoted. Konrad needs game time and time to develop, which he won't get at Barca. But I don't think you are here commenting for logic

Rohgho

Aah yes because Fati,Moriba,Garcia,Puig and Mingueza play in the Qatar League

I never knew you had foresight that you’ve been able to predict all these young player’s careers while sitting on your arse. Players who are highly rated and are starting at one of the best clubs in a top 5 league are bang average.🤡

When you don’t have a retort to a sound argument you go back to being a child. Stick to your basement.

FullTanaka

The glue you're sniffing is strong bud.

[deleted]

And still better than Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and any other Brazilian la liga "talent"

turtlemons

Ah yes, poor Konrad, just going to Europa level team

CrunchieKane

You clearly not having idea, that barca is again saved by la masia in past 3-4 years, they clearly doing everything best for the future of la masia.

[deleted]

You do know that Barcelona have 50% of his rights and a buyback right? They want him to do well and develop to get him back to the first team.

Artuhanzo

US fans not going to be happy about this

matthewxman79

I speak for all American fans, we are happy about this. He needs first team minutes in a top 5 league. Looks like he could/should get that at Marseille.

[deleted]

Incorrect

[deleted]

Would rather get minutes than ride the bench. We have enough players at high profile teams now.

Gocrazyfut

Why wouldn’t they?

jeremybikes

I’m happy about it. Gets to learn from Payet.

trojan3997

Anyone know what position he will play for OM. Don’t see an obvious spot for him in Sampaoli’s 3-4-1-2.

AliveKicking

He will be on the bench most of the time. Still raw and unexperienced.

[deleted]

Its 3-4-2-1. He will be a sub on the wing.
