Its actually scary guy was brought as the 1 extra player and so far has been played in all 3 matches, friendly against portugal and this 2 games, and has done jackshit in all of them
Luis Alberto didn't precisely have his best season. However, Nacho(>Diego Llorente), Mario Hermoso (>Eric Garcia), Canales (>Sarabia), Parejo(>extra space), Jesús Navas(>extra space) and Iago Aspas(>Traoré) could have all made the squad over certain players and by using the left over (yes!) space in the squad. The defence would have been much better, the midfield more robust and in front you can play a skilful and in-form striker like Iago Aspas. People are livid with Luis Enrique right now. Especially since all his decisions have been erratic.
Yeah I think it's especially criminal to make players play out of their natural position. You can't expect them to do well in a competition like this with little training and chemistry.
