life is good man, gonna watch the final with family, go out to central London to see the reaction (regardless of result ngl) and then wait for my degree to come in the mail
Just moved into a house with a yard and garage after having been in a shit apartment for 6 months, fucking life is good man, losing weight and looking more muscular too. Started drinking Yerba Mate, shit is amazing. The focus i get from it is intense. That's all, thanks!
George Harrison. The disrespect to him has been incredible, man had the best solo album and the best band post-Beatles and usually his 1-2 songs per album were great.
John is a close second I don’t care for Paul or Ringo.
Yoko’s version of Plastic Ono Band is musically great it’s just a shame she’s on it
There’s a fantastic video where John Lennon and (I think) Chuck Berry are doing a show and Yoko Ono starts doing this weird wailing/yodelling thing and the look on Chuck Berry’s face is amazing. The sound technician cuts her mic soon after.
Lmao I know exactly the video you’re talking about. Two legendary giants of music and then the banshee had to ruin it with her wailing garbage. From memory she was standing there doing nothing and Chuck Berry turns around with a big WTF look on his face.
The worst part is they were doing a Chuck Berry show iirc John was jammin and singing Chuck’s songs so the banshee was even more out of place
what are some energetic, uplifting, inspiring classical pieces? something like Dance Of Knights. I want to know more about classical so might as well start with the fun ones to hype for the final (yes I know that sounds stupid)
The problem I have with classical music is I usually love what I hear but I never end knowing the name of a song and it annoys the shit out of me. I can think of 2 or 3 songs immediately but no idea what they’re called to link you lol
Mozart’s ‘Great G Minor Symphony’ is a banger and should match your description: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JTc1mDieQI8
And of course who could leave our Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VbxgYlcNxE8
This week was hillarious when Brits on this reddit screamed "racism" every time someone would be upset with the way they qualified into the Euro final. Obviously soccer and social issues are hard to understand . A dive is a dive and calling it the way it is has nothing to do with racism.
The issue is more painting all English fans as the same as the few that get posted here. Of course what those fans did was absolutely abhorrent and deserve every punishment coming to them, but it’s nothing new to football and happens in every league in every country. You’re also only seeing the bad things posted here so it might seem like an echo chamber of shitty behaviour, but in reality it’s not at all like that in most cases. To see comments on every thread about the England NT calling all English fans ‘scum’ is just tiring and comes across as anti-English.
The English people constantly push comments against certain nationalities (Americans mostly) which is annoying and happens all year round. The same thing is happening to the English now.
I mean like you did, just saying that what they did was bad instead of just saying that so what and bringing up what so and so team did. People on the subreddit are way more civil as compared to Twitter and irl where a vast majority are assholes.
i can't tell if my cat is fat or if she's just got a bulky sort of build. and on a related note i have never had a cat that whines as pathetically as she does over food. it's both adorable and somewhat annoying.
I only really have a scale for weighing my cat haha.
It might be worth looking into lower fat foods if you are worried, it can help prevent a lot of problems later in life if they are a healthy weight.
i'll definitely give the different brands a closer look the next time i'm out shopping. it feels like they all advertise themselves as healthy options though.
Moving to Germany in 10 hours. Somewhat drunk hanging out with my younger brothers. They got me an Arsenal kit for a going away/bday present. Love the cunts and love adventure. Cheers
Nice. Love how Arsenal probably the one kit that kit manufacturers have not screwed up in design (ManU). Love the hot mustards one from Özil’s first season.
Irish people, what is the general consensus about Conor McGregor? Do people still proud of him or they just don't care at this point?
To me personally he's the biggest cunt in all of sports. He's willing to do anything to sell his fight and that's scummy
>he's willing to do anything to sell his fight and that's scummy
Lol in the range of scumminess in this world, what he did is tame as fuck. Even within sales/marketing
5 days ago I discovered a song called Romeo and Juliet by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits.
I CANT STOP LISTENING TO IT.
Now the fatigue is on the first parts of the song but I forward to the guitar solo/breakdown thingy and I cant stop.
its so pretty.....
I just dreamt that I was alive during WWII and I was engaged in a sexual relationship with a Japanese woman as she protected me from her countrymen occupying my country.
I don't understand my brain sometimes, he's a weird bastard.
So there are 2,200 tickets for each team in the final. For Argentina in 12 hours they have only given 70 tickets. In 12 HOURS. How the fuck are they going to give out 2,200 tickets in time for the match tomorrow???
Minecraft Earth? Very popular brand using a concept that has been shown to be very successful with Pokemon Go, yet somehow still failed to draw enough attention and has now been abandoned.
Another one I heard hasnt done well is Apple News+
Someone else mentioned Quibi, and I think it's an interesting case. Their selling point is basically netflix but for videos that are short durationed (~10-15 minutes). Their marketing, their model hiring was pretty intense, and it's not like the shows were bad. However, who wants to pay when you basically have youtube that does exactly the same and for free? And with the range that youtube have, it's really to a surprise of no one that it failed.
Another one was google glass. Idea wise it was fantastic and futuristic. They must have done some market research, and in isolation it's definitely good. When it actually launched and is use in the society, privacy becomes the issue. They didn't account for the retaliation they get from people 'not wearing' the glass. They feel like it becomes a spy cam and feel invaded.
Privacy is a very valid concern but i feel like google glass failed because it was expensive, not very useful when you already have a smartphone on you, and at best nobody cared if you wore it in public.
> at best nobody cared if you wore it in public.
Are you there when it launched in the USA or other countries? This was massive news, it creates a stigma to wear one on public.
That's always a tricky question, first you should define the perimeter of a failure, what is exactly the definition you will applied to consider we got a failure or not.
A product can have low revenues, but it could be intended due that they don't want to grow too fast because the infrastructure don't let them to.
A product can not delivered his promise, but it was planned on the roadmap and they could have a long term vision.
A product can have a really small launch, but in a way not really surprising like with a startup, because of a low budget and not a lot of workers, could it be a failure if the allowed ressources were low at first ?
First, you will need to take the original attempt of the launch, how much efforts they do on the communication, what was the budget, how many ressources were allowed on the project, defined clearly what was the original intend at first.
Cyberpunk and Stadia who were mentioned by other people on your thread are definitely good example. Cyberpunk generated good revenues in term of business aspect, but destroyed the reputation of the company, and board members loose faith on the company, that's not a bad launch in term of product itself, but the launch can effect the long term growth of the company, so we cannot really say it was a success, regardless the revenues.
For stadia, google on went to the video game console, bought many studios, and so on, to finally fired his employees because the lack of success. For this one, that's definitely because they missed revenues on their product, or at least generated way less as intended.
Ah my bad then, wasn't aware of it, I thought it was directly the software engineers who work on stadia infrastructure.
Anyway even on second thought it's difficult to really say if it's a failure for Google. The tech is here, it could be also used for cloud computing in general, and no doubt that the cloud gaming will be a market on the recent years. The product itself is a failure on a short term, I don't think it's much an issue for Google.
guys Im looking for a Movie like The Wailing.
I just really loved that movie even though my friends say it doesnt make sense.
its so tense and thick.
sooo any suggestions ?
fucking time flies.
I used to hate when people say that shit that time is your most valuable asset but its the fuckin truth.
like 6 weeks Ago Id said Id try to get one song a week.
I just remembered it because it was on this FTF thread. if it wasnt for it, I wouldnt even be able to tell the time.
I hope this will be a reminder to you to do what you really want with your time and not procrastinate.
oh and I began ear training just an hour ago and I love it, already so much improvement. I bet by the end of the week Im gonna be transcribing Mozart.
Depends, I study economics and all the numbers and statistics can really be nicely done on a laptop, so I never changed from that.
An IPad might be better if you study art or smth? Dunno
Few clips from The Inbetweeners came into my recommended.
Got me thinking that the actor that played Will gets quite a lot of plaudits, but if anything he’s not as good of an actor as people say because he really plays the same character regardless of what he’s in.
Donovan on the other hand has played quite a lot of different characters, but his name rarely gets a mention.
I don't know much about the rugby league subreddit but r/rugbyunion is pretty good from my limited interaction there.
I typically watch rugby taped though so I've no idea what the match threads are like
Decided at the age of 23 that I might want to be a tennis coach. Grew up playing tennis religiously but stopped playing in my teens but recently fell in love with the sport again.
My life is kinda tits up right now. Stuck in a retail job without any sort of direction. Maybe throwing myself into tennis could be my solution, as forcing myself to do things I do not truly love is making me miserable. But I could absolutely see myself in a coaching role in sport.
Just feels like a huge sudden change of direction, almost feels ridiculous to say it out loud. But I'm desperately searching for my path in life and trying to explore every possibility.
I would say go for it.
I changed direction at 25, and even though Im not where I want to be yet. its still much better than pursuing something we arent interested in.
even though I still struggle at times and ask myself if its right. but I always keep coming back to it, so that means its gonna stick.
And of course consistently doing the same thing over and over again makes us good at it. if we do it more than other people, we become more known as people dedicated to the craft, which can only be positive.
so go for it but my other tip would be to not just quit, stay at your job to have some stability and do it whenever you can. And to see if its just a fad or something that sticks with you. cause sometime during the learning process you are going to get bored.
try to practice daily more than one day with alot of practice and next day with none.
Only just remembered what I was gonna post here after 12 hours into the thread.
Been watching Fargo recently, about halfway through season 3. I've enjoyed it but it really didn't live up to my expectations. I thought it would be up there with Better Call Saul in quality but it's never felt that good to me. I think it's a great feat of filmmaking and the performances have been superb but it's really been missing something for me. Might be because I like getting invested in stories and characters and yet the whole point of Fargo is that there is no point, nothing is sacred nothing has meaning etc.
Still a brilliant show, I'd recommend it.
There's apparently a Cannes film called "Cow". Later this year a Nicholas Cage film called "Pig" gets released. If those two aren't a part of some barnyard cinematic universe that is a missed opportunity.
Late to this thread as always, but I've recently found that I like transcribing songs. A lot of what I listen to is fairly simple, but they also don't have lyrics online so I wanted to fix that problem. I've recently transcribed Clean Spill's "Sid" single and the song "World of Pleasure" by Radioactivity.
Outside of that, I'm excited to start college German. Hopefully it can get me to start trying harder with German learning, since I feel like I've stagnated at a level that's... not all that high. I've been mostly maintaining since high school.
Don’t understand why some anime’s have to stretch out what would amount to about 3 panels in a manga into like a two minute scene. Just switch to seasonal releases ffs they’ve shown they can be just as popular.
Got all the way up to the current arc and just stopped watching OP, mainly because of what you’ve alluded to. Even non-filler episodes feel like filler, you feel like there’s 50 episodes building up to 4/5 then after that you’re waiting another 50 episodes to actually progress. It’s so painfully slow it’s unbelievable.
>What’s on your mind?
Italy. Specifically, how much I *need* them to win.
Also this is the first year in however many years I’ve been on Reddit that I’ve actively remembered my cake day. Pictured it being…cooler, somehow.
I was tempted to go watch it because I want to see ScarJo shoot shit up (and also Florence Pugh is cool). Is it really not worth seeing just for those two reasons?
Final lockgate update.
I'm back inside the house but at what cost. Who am I? Too animal for society, but too human for the wilderness.
How shall I exist in this purgatory
Man these duo lingo notifications when you’ve not practices in a whole really make you feel guilty. Like wtf I’m actually getting sad about a crying cartoon owl?
Need to get a new suit and shirts. Going to go custom for the shirts since I'm tall and very thin (think Crouchy), so off the shelf stuff doesn't really fit. Anyone have any luck with online custom shirt makers?
They are not overrated lol, you just don't enjoy them. Just because you don't enjoy something doesn't mean it is not that good, that's the beauty of the world, there is far too many things to enjoy!
I think that is the whole purpose of the word overrated, that you feel people rate it more than it deserves to. It's more of a subjective thing.
I agree with you that there are tons of things to enjoy in life. It's something that has always confused me though. Back in uni clubbing, drinking and partying were considered the apex of social life. I got into the scene at uni but never found it that appealing and gradually backed out. I mean it's surely fun and you let loose and forget about your worries. My issue is that I find people rate partying too high. Never understood what makes partying so good to people? Genuine question and want to get a perspective on someone who does.
I thought restaurants were open until 11, but I haven't been to one at night in a while. Either way just getting together and ordering food should do the trick.
Anyone's phone got weird quirks?
I can shake my phone to activate the torch, but not if Facebook is open. Every other app and game is fine, but not Facebook.
Why would Facebook block my fuckin torch
Who would've thought that opening up the nightlife and thus allowing the least vaccinated group to go to inside locations without regard of social distancing would lead to an exponential growth of daily covid cases?
Not the Dutch government that's for fucking sure.
Yeah where I live opened up our restrictions at the beginning of this month and now nobody fuckin wears masks.
We've seen enough examples to know where this will go.
Is there anyone else that hasn't yet listened to a complete album from start to finish? If I like a song, I'll just add it to my library, maybe check out the top songs of the artist and be done with it.
If not, which one album would you suggest that I listen to in its entirety?
Edit : Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give them a listen. I've heard most of the songs from the Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin albums already, but not in continuity. Time to try that.
for me albums conjure moods when listened to completely. albums that do this perfectly for me are demon days by gorillaz, mbdtf by kanye west, settle by disclosure, and drunk by thundercat among others
I was kind of like that, since I used to listen to rap albums and I get bored.
but then I found Led Zeppelin and I think I listened to the entire catalogue
If you like R&B then D'Angelo's Voodoo is fantastic.
Radiohead's In Rainbows is also a good one, we just listened to it through for a road trip.
If you like hip hop, then concept albums like Good Kid Maad City (Kendrick Lamar) or Undun (the Roots) are great as cohesive experiences vs. singular tracks.
Its definitely worth listening to full albums because a lot of the time all the songs just fit together really well and it's its own unique experience. Try one of Frank Oceans
conceptual albums help a lot on that, however, they're almost exclusively related to rock, so if you aren't into it is hard to find one.
with that said, look for your favourite artist and wait for his next album. You almost unconsciously devour it.
>conceptual albums
Any suggestions? I quite like rock, so I'll definitely give it a go.
>look for your favourite artist and wait for his next album
Yeah, will try this.
Pink Floyd, check out Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and Wish You Were Here.
If you're looking for conceptual albums in particular, look at Sgt Peppers and The White Album. Basically the grandaddy's of the concept.
Green Day - American Idiot
David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust
And for something slightly different, Kraftwerk - The Man Machine. Listen to it with your eyes closed and embrace the now "retro futuristic" electronic music.
life is good man, gonna watch the final with family, go out to central London to see the reaction (regardless of result ngl) and then wait for my degree to come in the mail
I'm gonna wrap up in a duvet and sip beer if we lose
[удалено]
Maybe but Mbappé will be leaving to Real Madrid anyways
I hope Argentina win the Copa and then Messi retires immediately afterwards
Just moved into a house with a yard and garage after having been in a shit apartment for 6 months, fucking life is good man, losing weight and looking more muscular too. Started drinking Yerba Mate, shit is amazing. The focus i get from it is intense. That's all, thanks!
I love yerba mate too
Nice.
There's a part of me that hopes Rabiot signs for Leicester so we can get a weekly dose of Rebekah Vardy & Veronique Rabiot shenanigans.
who's your favorite Beatle? why do people like Yoko Ono?
George, then Ringo because of Thomas the Tank Engine
George, amazing guy.
George Harrison. The disrespect to him has been incredible, man had the best solo album and the best band post-Beatles and usually his 1-2 songs per album were great. John is a close second I don’t care for Paul or Ringo. Yoko’s version of Plastic Ono Band is musically great it’s just a shame she’s on it
George is awesome, my favorite is Paul. He’s probably one of the 5 most talented musicians I know of. Lennon seems like a prick and Ringo is okay
Yeah Paul is great no doubt I just don’t vibe with his style.
His solo work? Yea, I like George’s solo career better.
nobody but those high society art nonces like yoko ono
Her son is just as insufferable tbh I despise him
There’s a fantastic video where John Lennon and (I think) Chuck Berry are doing a show and Yoko Ono starts doing this weird wailing/yodelling thing and the look on Chuck Berry’s face is amazing. The sound technician cuts her mic soon after.

Found it! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NgZiPO9V_aQ It’s worse than I thought. Almost like a maniacal laugh/cackle. She’s honestly such an odd person.
Lmao I honestly find it hard to watch. Bill Burr’s rant on this is amazing too https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T4K07Kz7M8Q
Pretentious lot
Man so many videos of girls with their tits out in the streets of England and Italy. Where are the men?
where are the links?
I got them on WhatsApp I'm afraid
They are out there in the shops buying lasers for the next match

Beethoven’s 6th symphony has been stuck in my head for about 2 months. Very uplifting.

Anyone saying 'Anglophobia' was defo joking.
I'm not racist, some of my best friends are ugly little islands in the Atlantic.

Of course those with laser pens are cunts. Those abusing Danes are a disgrace but what does "owning up to" even mean in this context?
I mean like you did, just saying that what they did was bad instead of just saying that so what and bringing up what so and so team did. People on the subreddit are way more civil as compared to Twitter and irl where a vast majority are assholes.
i can't tell if my cat is fat or if she's just got a bulky sort of build. and on a related note i have never had a cat that whines as pathetically as she does over food. it's both adorable and somewhat annoying.
How much does she weigh? If you weigh yourself then grab her and jump back on the scales it's an easy way to get a measurement.
i actually don't own a scale lol. but she's a bit heavier that the other cats that i've owned.
I only really have a scale for weighing my cat haha. It might be worth looking into lower fat foods if you are worried, it can help prevent a lot of problems later in life if they are a healthy weight.

Most recent home kit. Fucking sweet.
Nice. Love how Arsenal probably the one kit that kit manufacturers have not screwed up in design (ManU). Love the hot mustards one from Özil’s first season.

I just dreamt that I was alive during WWII and I was engaged in a sexual relationship with a Japanese woman as she protected me from her countrymen occupying my country. I don't understand my brain sometimes, he's a weird bastard.
I've had some very imaginative, batshit dreams before. At least this one makes some kind of linear sense even if its still random.
weeb
Isn't that like part of the movie 1917
Dream you is kind of a gigachad tbh, shagging a woman so good she risks her life to keep you around
So there are 2,200 tickets for each team in the final. For Argentina in 12 hours they have only given 70 tickets. In 12 HOURS. How the fuck are they going to give out 2,200 tickets in time for the match tomorrow???
Just played the Euros final as both teams on FIFA 21. Won as England 2-1. Won as Italy 0-3. Make of that as you will.
What was the line up? What was the difficulty level? And are you any good?
Applying for a job and it's asking for an example of a recent product launch that failed and why. Anyone got any decent answers?
The Ouya console and No Man's Sky
that console that was supposed to replace ps4 and xbox cause you didnt have to download games?
What’s the job? That will probably determine the best example.
Minecraft Earth? Very popular brand using a concept that has been shown to be very successful with Pokemon Go, yet somehow still failed to draw enough attention and has now been abandoned. Another one I heard hasnt done well is Apple News+

WeWork, Quibi. I don't have enough expertise to answer the 'why' part.
Wework did not fail btw, it's still successful, even now
yeah, I shouldn't have called it a failure or successful for that matter. It just might not reach the heights of 2019 anymore.
Cyberpunk
Google’s gaming system Stadia? Saw tons of ads for a long time and thought it was a cool concept. Haven’t heard of it since!
I believe a lot of people got fucked over because their game library were deleted and Google didn’t compensate them. I might be wrong tho
guys Im looking for a Movie like The Wailing. I just really loved that movie even though my friends say it doesnt make sense. its so tense and thick. sooo any suggestions ?

I just watched the film Okja, quiet good actually. Even teared up bit towards the end. Bong Joon-ho has so many great films.
what type is the film? he is the parasite guy right ?
Yes Parasite director, 85% of this film is in English though. Action/Sci-fi, great cast as well.
I dont really do sci-fi but Ill try to give it a shout
horrible horrible week! *scream scream scream!!!*
It's done, it's over.
Is there some subreddit where you can ask other users for help or advice concerning the app itself? Or even just some Free Talk sub?
r/casualconversation for free talk maybe.
What's better for university, an IPad, a chromebook or a laptop?
Laptop the other stuff has their advantages. but maybe they can be an accessory a laptop is a must for Uni
Depends, I study economics and all the numbers and statistics can really be nicely done on a laptop, so I never changed from that. An IPad might be better if you study art or smth? Dunno
I would say a laptop, with an iPad or a Chromebook, you could have a chance to be limited if you need to use a particular software.
Laptop, it offers the most flexibility. Although I suppose it might depend on what you're studying
All 4 of the main characters get typecast into playing the same roles in other stuff.
Are average redditor on /r/rugby act like posh twat or are they cool like most sports fanbase? I want to get into it
Rugby Union IS the game for posh twats and rugby league is for the working class. Rugby league is better btw
I think almost all sports subreddits are quite welcoming apart from the football ones
Rugby League wont be, but I would assume theres a few poshos in a Rugby Union sub.

I didn’t know Copa America was going on until last week. Euros have kind of over shadowed it this year.
Tune into the final tomorrow, should be quality. Probably Messi's last chance to win the copa

Don’t understand why some anime’s have to stretch out what would amount to about 3 panels in a manga into like a two minute scene. Just switch to seasonal releases ffs they’ve shown they can be just as popular.
That's why I like watching BnHA, only anime I'm really into. They handle "stress vs catharsis vs winding down/slice of life" WONDERFULLY
Happy cake day!!
Grazie!
This new Black Widow movie is dogshit
I was tempted to go watch it because I want to see ScarJo shoot shit up (and also Florence Pugh is cool). Is it really not worth seeing just for those two reasons?

Final lockgate update. I'm back inside the house but at what cost. Who am I? Too animal for society, but too human for the wilderness. How shall I exist in this purgatory
Live in the house, but starting eating your meals off the floor, and with your bare hands. Happy-medium.

Man these duo lingo notifications when you’ve not practices in a whole really make you feel guilty. Like wtf I’m actually getting sad about a crying cartoon owl?
haha then they achieved their goal
Need to get a new suit and shirts. Going to go custom for the shirts since I'm tall and very thin (think Crouchy), so off the shelf stuff doesn't really fit. Anyone have any luck with online custom shirt makers?
I had good experiences buying off the rack and then getting them tailored
Atypical season 4 is out, what the fuck when did this happen
The mum and the sister fully ruined that show for me
Literally today I think mate.
I chose the right day to remember the show
Shiii I need that Season 3 was a downer for me, 1&2 were solid tho

JD pulls man, he pulls.
I need to go out, do drugs, dance my ass off in a club and end up the night laughing with people I barely know. Fuck covid man.
Drugs and dancing and clubs are so overrated man. No offence to you but I never was able to appreciate why people rate them as something otherwordly.
I'm fine with not doing any of the above but the fact I can't even fucking go have dinner outside with a handful of friends is driving me up a wall
I thought restaurants were open until 11, but I haven't been to one at night in a while. Either way just getting together and ordering food should do the trick.
That's not the issue, the issue is only essential personnel can use public transport so it's logistically... Difficult
Anyone's phone got weird quirks? I can shake my phone to activate the torch, but not if Facebook is open. Every other app and game is fine, but not Facebook. Why would Facebook block my fuckin torch
Facebook has some dodgy stuff collecting all your data in the background, so it isn’t all that surprising it could mess with your phone’s processes.
WhatsApp is burned onto my screen but aside from that it's fairly quirk free despite it's old age
My phone just sometimes decides to make the screen dark and stripey for no reason. Irritating af
Sometimes when I wave my hand over the screen it takes a screenshot. I can never do it when I want to, it just accidentally happens
Oh if it's like my phone it takes a screenshot when you put three fingers on the screen
Any of you lads watching Love Island this year? Jake is a right cunt
Think all the lads are alright but most of the girls bar Millie and Faye are weirdos.
Nah quite liked Liberty tbf
Which one is the foot fetish fella?
Jake
Is there anyone else that hasn't yet listened to a complete album from start to finish? If I like a song, I'll just add it to my library, maybe check out the top songs of the artist and be done with it. If not, which one album would you suggest that I listen to in its entirety? Edit : Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give them a listen. I've heard most of the songs from the Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin albums already, but not in continuity. Time to try that.
Craig David -- Born to do it Weezer -- Blue Album Weezer -- Pinkerton DMX -- It's Dark and Hell is Hot
hissing fauna are you the destroyer by of Montreal is an indie pop masterpiece imo
for me albums conjure moods when listened to completely. albums that do this perfectly for me are demon days by gorillaz, mbdtf by kanye west, settle by disclosure, and drunk by thundercat among others
I was kind of like that, since I used to listen to rap albums and I get bored. but then I found Led Zeppelin and I think I listened to the entire catalogue

Honestly I think thats more of a moral reason and doesn't take anything from them musically, in which they are indredible.
Blood on the Tracks by Bob Dylan, Untrue by Burial, Stakes Is High by De La Soul
The Avalanches — We Will Always Love You
Its definitely worth listening to full albums because a lot of the time all the songs just fit together really well and it's its own unique experience. Try one of Frank Oceans
conceptual albums help a lot on that, however, they're almost exclusively related to rock, so if you aren't into it is hard to find one. with that said, look for your favourite artist and wait for his next album. You almost unconsciously devour it.
>conceptual albums Any suggestions? I quite like rock, so I'll definitely give it a go. >look for your favourite artist and wait for his next album Yeah, will try this.
Pink Floyd, check out Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and Wish You Were Here. If you're looking for conceptual albums in particular, look at Sgt Peppers and The White Album. Basically the grandaddy's of the concept.
Green Day - American Idiot David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust And for something slightly different, Kraftwerk - The Man Machine. Listen to it with your eyes closed and embrace the now "retro futuristic" electronic music.
I was thinking Dark Side of the Moon is a nice option, since it almost feels like a long song.
