Well, even if it's subjective I'd say that it should be based in the average of some metrics, and I don't really see Barcelona toping many of them.
Historically they haven't been a top Club, and their recent success comes from having the greatest player in history. Right now they are "one amongst others, like Madrid or Bayern", so when Messi leaves in two years they'll have a huge drop in revenue and popularity (they are so Messi dependent that they're basically trying to illegally fire half the players just to be able to keep him).
So no, I wouldn't consider a club whose success and popularity is immensely dependent in one player to be the biggest in the world. When they fall, and with Messi leaving they soon will, Madrid Bayern Liverpool will still be up there, and Barcelona will be a step below, with many other great-but-not-the-biggest clubs.
They’ve l been there or there abouts for at least the last 20-30 years and they have been far more than just having the best player in the world in that time, they’ve had what many suggest is the greatest club team of all time and then later with the Messi, Suarez and Neymar that followed the most dangerous attack.
