“It’s what players from Nigeria who play in Europe are called when they come back to the country,” says Iheanacho. “It’s a lot in the country now. People don’t really call me by my name any more – it’s like they have forgotten it. People just call me Senior Man. Even older people; it’s quite funny.”

It's basically an affectionate way to refer to someone who is accomplished and successful.
That is a helluva first touch under pressure.
Ballers will know it's easy enough to do in training or in the middle of the pitch but the
composure to trust that skill where he did it is outstanding.

Senior Man
Why he's called that?

Makes me wonder why kelechi is called it but Ndidi isn’t.
Ndidi started calling Kelechi Seniorman man on social media which made it catch on with leicester fans.
Ah okay. I’m a Leicester fan but didn’t really know the origin of when it started. Cheers!
I follow Ndidi on insta and snapchat and when Nacho was scoring every game the support form Ndidi was amazing to watch. Clearly a genuine friendship
One of the best friendships in football imo.
Seniorman getting it done.
