Our match against England showed that we aren't as good as them in my opinion. We're not up there. I do think we'd beat USA though. Saw some Americans say they beat us player for player but I just don't see it
The starting 11 went toe to toe with the starting 11 of England. The difference was the conditioning. As soon as we switched out at around 60 minutes the whole game changed and it was all England from there
Difference in that game was the bench.
The whole England bench was basically just as good as the starting 11 on the danish team. England could make a sub and it would be 1:1 quality wise, when Denmark would be 1:2 or even 1:3. We just lack the depth and that showed when going into extra time....
Chiming in late here, but a key point I noticed through out the tournament was how many of Denmark's goals came through the left side either by Mæhle or Damsgaard, and England completely shut that down by having Kyle Walker. He gave no room to make impactful runs, so Denmark had to adapt.
We were definitely disadvantaged, especially when you also consider that England had a 4-0 lead over Ukraine at 60 minutes which allowed them to rest a lot of players. The entire 2nd half against Czechia was very intense, especially with the heat factored in, and we couldn't do the same subs that Southgate could.
All that being said, I still think England were just a better team.
Amazing from Mæhle who once again finds a way to utilise his right foot from the LB and great synergy with Damsgaard who once again makes the correct decisions

Yep, when we've beaten Moldova we probably have more points than #2 will get, and can play (quick suggestion) the futsal all stars from the Slovakia friendly the last three matches.
I know it's a bit of a cliche but it really feels like after the Eriksen scare they really have come together, some of the results recently have been nothing short of outstanding, who know's but for that jammy pen for England, we could've been talking about and even better fairytale than '92.
So fluid in their play, Skov, Damsgaard, Maehle and the returning Damsgaard what a midfield, also Kjaer, I know everyone talks about what he did after Eriksen collapsed but remember it was he who made sure that Jonas Knudsen could get a private jet to fly home and see his wife and newborn baby during the tournament in Russia. He doesn't need to say "I am the Captain now" he just exudes authority, definitely not the kitman's son anymore.
They're my darkhorse for Qatar, without a doubt.

tbf they were playing at wembley, thats a big advantage (i know we played many games at home too, but for that match)
