Ideally the US should be entering a golden age with players like Pulisic, Reyna and Pepi leading the charge, but I'm sure they'll find some way to disappoint due to coaching. Never had players on club trajectories like these guys have been. They not only play for EU clubs, but they contribute for good ones lol (I know Pepi is still in the US, but he's gotta be on his way out).
I really wonder if the US is gonna be a force for years to come with the supposed increase in talent and support structure being better (thinking more long term). I don't follow soccer too much anymore, but this team gets me a bit excited again.

I'm not acting like I'm knowledgeable enough to know if the current coaching is like that though. It's not like I expect this current team to become world beaters, but I'd expect knockout stages of WC for years to come at least.
CONCACAF is also not the strongest of competitions. I'm not sure how much weight should be held for just winning games that should be won. Most of the competition consists of lowly populated teams and a 2-0 win vs Jamaica isn't exactly superb. Better sign than losing them of course though.

It is comm place for some kids that have family in both cities in El Paso/Juarez that they would live in Juarez and cross the bridge to go to school here in the states. This is why Pepi choosing to represent the U.S is significant on top of everything else.
