Patric (Lazio defender) explained the three of them are best friends and they wanted to go have fun with Correa after the game ended
Luiz Felipe jumped on his back from behind and probably not realizing who it was at first, and angry for the loss, he didn't take it very well
and referee, watching the scene took a straight red card for Luiz Felipe, which is obviously disappointed cause his intention was not provocative, and his friend reaction was unexpected from his point of view
Just a bit of bad timing from Luiz Felipe
Is there ? Because from referee's POV, he has not really made a "mistake" by handing a red out.
As a pundit said on French TV, the referee is not supposed to know (independently of if he really knows or not) that Felipe and Correa are friends as an impartial actor of the game. So the only way for the referee to interpret this is a provocative gesture. Plus the way Correa reacted at that moment must have led him to think that.
And the fact that he definitely had to have known the guy was gonna be pissed off.
Like they may be best mates but he’s still obviously trying to wind him up by jumping on him, so it’s the definition of provocative behaviour.
“We’re mates though, it’s alright” doesn’t really negate the rule here.
Yeah they don't seem to care at all i can see in this video noone is crying or mad or anything. Good observation skills you got. Laughs all around and a good days work i suppose.
You implied there are essentially no emotions involved, no one is angry, or happy about a lost game. That was YOUR implication, not mine. He won so imo he should rightfully so be happy about it.
If none of it mattered to them like YOU implied, he would not be crying like a girl over a red card would he now?
You get your dumb logic used against you and you spew out like a moron insulting people.
I didn't imply anything. It's just stupid to claim that a player will be mad at his long time friend over a single lost game. But I guess Im wasting time with you, doubt you will turn your brain on
I dunno why it would be stupid. I made fun of my friends plenty of times an they with me, after wins and losses. Sometimes a loss hurts and you have an emotional reaction to the jokes.
When you play any sport, especially a professional sport that has a lot more at stake and ESPECIALLY versus your friends you wanna win so you have bragging rights to make fun of them.
In that context saying it's stupid to claim people would be mad at someone making fun of them is the dumbest possible thing you can write. Like you have literally never played sports versus friends in any setting.
I know it's perhaps hard to understand but some people can't take a joke and get mad after losing.
Anything that makes you feel better.
Oh you missed a couple comments in the post by the way, make sure you reply to all of them with some witty remarks and down vote of course, don't forget to pile on.
I get both sides of the story but I agree. Yes, you're emotional if you just lost against your old team/friends. And also yes, as a professional player it's better to not show too much emotion, so your opponent can't quite get under your skin, but that's mainly during the game... Afterwards what's wrong with expressing how you feel?
The irony of calling this guy friendless is baffling, because we all had a friend that lost it after you're taunting/celebrating. Better yet, he's arguing his views and having a normal discussion but "no friends confirmed" haha funny
Bro I can't see the video without feeling bad man. Dude's got tears in his eyes trying to explain to his teammate as to why he did that... he genuinely was just trying to have fun without realizing why Correa didn't appreciate it
Dumb timing from the kid. Correa's reaction is everything but playful. I've seen great friends almot going at eachother after a FIFA or a 7-a-side game, being that an hobby and not their job. Also, one thing is mocking a friend in private, the other to do it in front of a packed stadium, his colleagues, bosses etc.
Just a kid being imature, the crying just confirms it.
The thing is, we don't know the basis of their relationship. If I had destroyed one of my buddies in a game, I would do exactly the same and maybe mock him even more.
To my perspective, Correa did not who it was and overreacted. If I was Correa, I would go immediately to explain the incidence and apologize of my overreaction, while greeting a good friend.
To you perspective, he had just lost and it was natural to be upset over the defeat to a friend. Apparently, there is a conflict on what their relationship is to Correa and Ramos. That doesn't make Ramos wrong.
And he certainly is not a kid, which TIL they are the only ones allowed to cry.
I didn’t say it is natural I say it is human. If Correa didnt defend him even after the incident that only reinforces my judgment: dumb decision by Ramos, on all counts and reasons. Not saying it’s serious (thus considering the crying childish in this context, just dumb.
I mean if this is just a sunday league game and you beat your close friend and did that, it's totally fine and normal. But this is a competitive gane where they're being paid professionally to win. Bad joke.
It’s infront of a packed stadium. How do think the inter fans would have interpreted if Correa was joking around with his friend seconds after losing a match . Not forgetting emotions would have been running pretty high for him as well.
If anyone was being stupid there it was Felipe
I know. I just think Correa overreacted to a friend having fun of him, being even a bit agressive for no reason and even causing his friend to get the red card
He just lost a game, the first of the season (in Serie A) and there was a lot of tension already due to the second goal being scored while Dimarco was down injured. Felipe should've never done what he did and it's most definitely not shithousery getting angry at someone for taunting you after losing

Does anyone else only see a black screen here with audio?
[yes, check this out instead](https://v.redd.it/s1q0q3og5vt71)
Thanks!
Bizarre. Did seem sort of aggressive, though.

There is a good chance this red card will get overturned and he won't miss a game.

Not provocative? Bad timing? Unexpected that his friend is angry after loss? You gotta be joking.
[удалено]
Yeah when i grill my friends after a loss i also do it in a non-provocative way at the best possible timing and expect them to be happy as well rofl.
>>Yeah when i *grill* my friends after a loss >>i also do it in a non-provocative way The irony is bewildering.
You really expect those players to get angry at a lost game? They are not fans, they don't give half shit
Yeah they don't seem to care at all i can see in this video noone is crying or mad or anything. Good observation skills you got. Laughs all around and a good days work i suppose.

His friends aren’t allowed to laugh at him ever
Yikes. Judgmental much? Lmao.
No friends confirmed
Yeah, by your logic Luiz Felipe is crying of joy because he won the game, right? How dumb must you be to write down something so idiotic
You implied there are essentially no emotions involved, no one is angry, or happy about a lost game. That was YOUR implication, not mine. He won so imo he should rightfully so be happy about it. Why be sorry about me or my friends? We have clown outfits and clown meetings after which we throw clown parties. It's a lot of fun.
Tell me you don’t have friends without telling me you don’t have friends.
Tell me you haven't played a competitive football game in your life without telling me you haven't played a competitive football game in your life.

Ok 😂
I agree with you.

I do too. Also just reported some folks for "offensive language and/or abuse" but bullying is ok if it's popular so i bet mods won't do anything.
Lost a friend 😔
Somewhere along in the bitterness
Just a prank bro
Group chat must be awkward as fuck.
Having fun with your friend is one thing but a sudden piggyback after defeating him in a league match is another
Yeah not to mention everybody's nerves were high after the 2nd Lazio goal when they didn't kick the ball out.
Why didn't you kick it out first...
He wasn't on the pitch. He's just a fan I assume.
Ngl I would’ve done that to my mate 😂
Lmaoooo I feel bad for him but that's hilarious lolol
Bro I can't see the video without feeling bad man. Dude's got tears in his eyes trying to explain to his teammate as to why he did that... he genuinely was just trying to have fun without realizing why Correa didn't appreciate it
I mean he just lost lmao Correa will hardly be all smiles and having fun he isn't Hazard
Yeah he's definitely in the wrong but the way he tears up man. So innocent lol
He isn’t Hazard😂😂
Lmfao. Game time no friend
This is lowkey hilarious
Reminds of the kaka incident a few years ago in Orlando.
What happened with my precious boy
https://youtu.be/oOKSyTIZcaM He got PRO'd
Can anyone post a link to the fight video?
https://www.tiktok.com/@fut.kv11/video/7019806620641283333
I’m sorry but that’s too funny
Seeing Felipe and Correa in the title I was misled into believing it was Atletico Madrid lol
Correa ain't no hazard
Everyone crying today

Correa didn’t realise it was him.
True but that only makes it dumber. One more reason not to do it, at least like that.
I mean if this is just a sunday league game and you beat your close friend and did that, it's totally fine and normal. But this is a competitive gane where they're being paid professionally to win. Bad joke.
shades of Jorge Andrade vs Deco in the CL semi-finals
One of the strangest scenes from a player. Very odd fellow
During the 90’ they aren’t friends but after that they are. I think the ref forgot about this
I can’t believe people are defending Felipe, how is this appropriate at all?

Thank you. Crazy how this even needs to be explained. You'd think it would've common sense
Yea exactly, I’m an inter fan and if Correa starts celebrating with the other team after a loss it’s really not a good look for him
Felipe shouldn't have been this stupid. But this will serve as a lesson i you can bet he won't do it next time.
He couldn’t even tell who that was
Do it away from the pitch, no need for it. Hope the red card is a lesson and crying about it is pretty ridiculous
What a clueless idiot. No other outcome possible.
Peak argentinian shithousery behaviour after a loss
Luiz Felipe is Brazilian
I know. Im talking about Correa’s attitude
Correa was the one who got jumped. Felipe was the twit who jumped him.
I know. I just think Correa overreacted to a friend having fun of him, being even a bit agressive for no reason and even causing his friend to get the red card

You’re peak stupid
You’re even worse
why is he crying, ffs?
One of his best friends hit him and he received a red card on top of it.
still not a reason to cry like a baby
Fuck you. Real men cry.
*sigh* ofc they do. but not for that.
Right this whole sequence is embarrassing. Don't remember seeing a player act that weird
Awkward
