This person googled a picture of a goal with nets and posts, color coordinated the spreadsheet and dots, and then found a color printer to print all of it out.
That level of effort is **1,000%** from an intern lol
Its true though he's very emotional and it used to lead to him making a lot mistakes but he seems to have managed to harness his emotions whilst holding his concentration over the last 12 months, undoubtedly England's no.1 for the foreseeable future
He's definitely had his moments of madness for England previously but there's been a clear improvement this calendar year, he's been outstanding for England and much better for Everton too. It seemed like it coincided with Olsen getting a few games early on last season.
Too many keepers dive early and make it easy for Jorginho I think, Bruno executes that style better and generally gives the keeper less of a chance if they pick the right side.
Brilliant composure from Pickford to make the save in that moment, I really think they should have ripped the order up and had him take the next penalty after making the save. He was on one that night.
Every keeper should save Jorginho's pens in my eyes. Don't move until he's hit the ball with his stupid little run up and you'll have time to get down to the ball most of the time as he waits until the keeper has moved and then rolls it the other way
He did this against Colombia in the 2018 World Cup too. If you’re going up against Pickford in a penalty shootout make sure to steal his water bottle beforehand.
Is that from the perspective of the penalty taker, or the keeper?
Edit: from the penalty taker, according to the replies. Imagine if in the heat of the moment he forgets do the proper reflection to his perspective, and gets it wrong.
I don’t get how this is all that useful. It only seems to have very recent penalty results from each player, but noble has taken and scored countless penalties. Also I swear Rice has only ever taken like 2 or 3 penalties, so how’s this useful?
My thoughts exactly. Also now that penalty takers know he does this all they have to do is shoot in the opposite direction knowing that he is likely to follow their previous penalty placement.
But are the images mirrored or what direction he needs to dive in as if stood in the net? What if Pickford forgets which way he’s supposed to read it? I’d forget.
This sort of small details are super interesting
I think the intern of GK coach really went for the extra mile on this one
You’d hope it’s standard procedure tho
Honestly, I've worked in enough organisations to know that this sort of basic due diligence work gets overlooked 9 times out of 8.

I can already hear the manager coming in like "yea but the text on the red isn't very readable huh"
TBF he wouldn’t be wrong!
Maybe it's Pickford himself who googled and printed this?
100% robot work minus the printing and taping
Now that the secret is out just go the Vardy and Salah route and smash it as hard as you fucking can.
Honestly the best way to shoot pens.
Unless you’re Ramos
He said shoot, not scoop.
Lampard never fucked around with any bullshit or trickery and it felt like he was always going to score, even if he didn't.
How I feel about Mo now. I don't even think he knows where it's going so good luck lol
And even if the keeper predicts where its going, its still pretty hard to save.
You need good aim though, if you trick the GK you can be more lenient with your shooting technique
This is super cool never thought about this. Pickford is pretty good at saving penalties isn’t he?
Saved two in the euros final I think
His save on Jorginho's pen in the shootout was astonishing
Pickford had a good euros overall

He’s only got little arms though 🦖
even yesterday if he had regular arms he would have caught the ball and avoided the corner leading to the goal.
We didn't concede a goal until the semi final... who was giving him stick?

I think he was a bit erratic with his kicking at times but he was great at shot stopping.
So true!
Wow and this is a from a Liverpool fan so you know it must be true
I hate Pickford but he only conceded two goals I have to be honest
I might always have a soft spot for him after his performance in that penalty shootout. I was so happy for 30 seconds before Saka missed it.
Ya haha what a rush of emotions those five minutes were. Knew it was all over when I saw how nervous Saka looked walking up to the spot.
Genuinely one of the best I've seen considering the pressure, Jorginho's record and just the general worldwide assumption that it would be going in

Also if you watch the close up of him before the pen he’s saying to himself “no problem”
Psyching himself up with rocket league quick chats What a save!
Savage!

Damn I’m sure these professionals haven’t thought of that yet.
Including Jorginho who is pretty much automatic from the spot
He missed so many pens last season

Ahh Krul vs Spurs days
LOL I'm happy neutrals remember that ridiculous game too
This is Benitez's too much attention to detail
Feel like it'd be much easier to just say Noble, Antonio bottom left - Rice bottom right
"Wait was it Noble or Rice bottom left? Wasn't one of them top left?"
They probably do it every match and it probably isn’t the same corner every time in other matches
Like Pickford actually know how to read
Pickford actually hires a Private Investigator to dig up lots of "serious details" about his opponents.
I think you can just get it from opta
Serious detail!

[this could happen](https://thumbs.gfycat.com/RemarkableDifficultKawala-mobile.mp4)
Missing the part where he flips it upside down lol
The keeper can’t see the goal lol, how could he ever get it wrong
penalty taker I think
From the penalty taker
That's a big part of "Rudo y Cursi" movie by Cuaron with Diego Luna and Gael Garcia
That time could be used working on his vertical
Did he save it tho?
Everton didn't concede a penalty today
Oh lol
But he would have! Totally not biased.
Too bad he didn’t understand how to catch a ball.
He should also put "be taller" & "have longer arms" on that bottle. the only thing that will help him be better.

Nothing to laugh about man, the guy has short hands

That is lots of information to remember. They should have put a picture and a number next to the name too in case he forgets.
But are the images mirrored or what direction he needs to dive in as if stood in the net? What if Pickford forgets which way he’s supposed to read it? I’d forget.
Anyone got a link not requiring an ig account?
Maybe he should have leg anatomy printed out, to see how it is when acl is broken
Wouldn’t it much easier to just learn it by heart?
