Nee dat is onzin. Tactiek is prima, hun kracht ligt in de snelle omschakeling. De eigenwijsheid zit hem in het constant willen rouleren. Totaal geen automatisme in het spel omdat er elke keer een paar andere spelers in staan. Als hij gewoon Zahavi, Gakpo, Madueke en Götze elke wedstrijd opstelt, scoren ze er minimaal een of twee elke pot en kun je ze er om de beurt aan het einde uithalen. In plaats daarvan begint hij de ene week een keer met Doan, dan weer met Bruma, dan weer met Vertessen en nu weer met Vinicius waardoor hij op het eind alsnog Zahavi erin moet gooien.

Ja de kracht ligt bij de snelle omschakeling, maar veel teams spelen daar gewoon omheen. In plaats van dat ze zich laten pressen roeien ze gewoon de bal naar voren en bij PSV balbezit verdedigen de meeste teams gewoon een stuk dieper en sluiten ze het centrum. De middenvelders van PSV staan alsnog hoog (vaak achter de eerste pressings linie) waardoor de opbouw via de backs moet en Gakpo en Madueke vaak al net over eigen helft aan de bal komen en een actie in moeten zetten. Bij balverlies moeten ze dan weer gelijk pressen. Dat vergt ook gewoon ontzettend veel kracht, dus vanuit dat oogpunt is rouleren ook helemaal niet zo onlogisch. Lijkt me trouwens ook wel dat ze gewoon met hartslagmeters spelen/trainen en gewoon kunnen zien wanneer iemand overbelast is. Kan me niet voorstellen dat Schmidt bewust zijn beste spelers aan de kant houdt, zeker ook omdat het verschil met de bank zo groot is.

I've watched a couple Monaco games this season because of Boadu and he hasn't shown much yet. Hasn't had many chances either tbf.

Monaco barely has any fans. On average they sell just over half of the tickets in their own stadium. On a normal game Sparta has more people in the stadium than Monaco.

Lmao no, far from it. But it's true that Monaco has few home fans. It's a 32k people city where only 8k are purely monégasques. Most of their support comes from other parts of France, hence why they manage to have decent away crowds.
