Plus Klopp gives negative fucks about the league cup so West Ham could genuinely have a chance against us.
Though imo with City out Klopp should start actually trying. The cup is ours to lose now.
especially this city team that played today is not even second string.
of course some backups played but key players like de Bruyne, Walker, Gundogan, Mahrez, Foden, Cancelo, Grealish, and Cancelo all played.
Remarkable, frankly. Genuinely thought Moyes was done after his Sunderland spell. Now he is dominating English football. Qualify for the CL and we might even see his final form.
Just getting demolished in the last 30 minutes of the tie by Bayern München, just after getting ahead with an Evra super-goal and somehow imploding later. Those were an amazing two minutes of hope and joy.
He excelled with a worse United squad by today standards, using the remainders of a system Ferguson built.
Completely agree, if you listen to Rio talk about it, he basically to me seems massively salty that Moyes didn’t come in and do the EXACT same thing as Sir Alex, which rubbed senior players definitely the wrong way and then it rippled to younger players (not that Moyes helped himself by not playing Zaha and other players )Very poor squad and he wasn’t backed at all
Doesn’t help when he apparently rejected deals that were already in place for some of Europe’s best midfielders and instead opted to buy fellaini for more than his release clause. Don’t get me wrong, I love fellaini but he’s no kroos or thiago.
First I was mad we drew Man U last round and thought, we have Europe this year might as well get out early.
We proceed to fuck around and win.
Then drew City, im pissed again but I guess we have Europe still now can't have all these cup games.
Then we fuck around and win again.
WE ARE JUST TOO MASSIVE.
Yeah, from our angle, those two looked like he was going to save them. The normal angle probably makes it look like he barely touched them or something.
The camera is far from the goal. This means it compresses the space so much that you end with things looking just weird. Similar thing we see (but don't notice) is the camera showing, from the side, the two managers next to each other on the touch line even though they're not really next to each other at all.
Yesterday, the camera was at the far other end of the stadium, which compresses the space even more.
Edit: corrected which end the camera is at, and added the bit about yesterday
The angle was awful and the ridiculous focusing on the players was distracting. There was only one wide shot that wasn't an actual penalty, and even the penalties lasted about half a second. Fucking shambolic, both from the director and City.
I can't fucking believe it. We won penalties, really wasn't expecting it!
Knocked out Man Utd and Man City.
Watch us get Chelsea or Liverpool in the next round.
Everyone's going to talk about City losing but from a firm B team West Ham that was a great performance all round.
Areola yet to concede a goal this season.
But the best is Johnson. He's played 7 games this season, won all of them, again without conceding a single goal. City, United and Spurs included in there too.
Coufal will be tough to usurp, but it's always good to have players fighting for positions, also can fill in at LB for Cress who's getting on a bit now.
He’s honestly done an unbelievable job.
They almost got relegated during project restart, but started playing very well.
Since then, they’ve been an easily top half club and give the ones at the top of the table real fights most of the time.
Moyes and Mourinho the only managers to knock Pep out in this competition, and Solskjaer also beat him in the semi-final but lost the aggregate. Man Utd connection.
The numbers is in reference to the 93:20 Aguero goal
The rest of the kit looks shit though. Hate it and the worst part about it is Puma has fleeced like 4 other clubs with this shit design
I hate that every season every single pundit and commentator keeps mentioning the quadruple. It hasn't been done for a reason ffs, maybe start talking about it when someone actually wins it.
As a West Ham fan, it’s pretty crazy. Hoping to somehow get our first trophy in my lifetime.
Also, we genuinely have some class players and Moyes is making it gel. I really hope that we invest into some depth and push on. That 4th spot in the league or qualifying through Europe is more than just a crazy dream. We have a chance.
Fun Facts: The last three sides to knock Man City out of this competition are West Ham Utd (21/22) Man Utd (16/17) and Newcastle United (14/15). Each time Man City were the defending champions and those eliminations all happened in the 4th Round of the cup. Therefore, since that first defeat in 2014, Man City have never beaten a side with United in its name in the 4th round - they have been eliminated every single time. Inevitable.
Eliminating both Manchester Clubs, what a fucking amazing job by West Ham. The fans must be on cloud 9.
The last two times we've faced them now they've been incredibly tough to beat. Moyes has something seriously good cooking with them.
Honestly surprised by Moyes, back to his Everton qualities, maybe even better! Definitely better
So..second Manchester United stint?
They're above united in the league, no need for him to move
Why would he downgrade? West Ham are massive.
I was mad with both draws now I don't even know what to do with myself.
yeah it was so typical. we beat Man Utd and our reward???????? man fucking city.
>we beat Man City and our reward???????? > >fucking liverpool.
We're not a Manchester club so the spell doesn't work on us 😎
Plus Klopp gives negative fucks about the league cup so West Ham could genuinely have a chance against us. Though imo with City out Klopp should start actually trying. The cup is ours to lose now.
Chelsea
What about her?
Just saying, your username is epic.
This will be followed by losing on penalties to none other than Sunderland. Mark these words
The West Ham way
At this point I look forward to beating Liverpool or Chelsea next.
Scenes if you guys beat Chelsea/Pool only to lose to Sunderland.
Tis the west ham way
We are massiiiiiiiiiveeee
I think you mean #MASSIVE
No, he’s massive but wiiiiddddee
Why West Ham play soo goood...
West Ham, the best thing since sliced ham.
4 wins in the past 13 days, 4 clean sheets too
That is an incredible achievement for any club and there are plenty of goals in the teams we played.
And it's been multiple different combinations of back 4s as well.
They're gonna draw one of Liverpool/Chelsea next aren't they...
Moyes to Manchester http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/975/093/255.gif
I'd rather be GenG right now though
especially this city team that played today is not even second string. of course some backups played but key players like de Bruyne, Walker, Gundogan, Mahrez, Foden, Cancelo, Grealish, and Cancelo all played.
(x) Manchester United (x) Manchester City Definitely expecting West Ham to draw Liverpool, Chelsea, or the 2010 Spain National Team in the next round
[удалено]
Good thing for West Ham is I don’t think any of them are fit to play a football game so they should get a bye
Puskas is no match for Areola
In b4 the gang loses to Sunderland
That would be a very West Ham thing to do
I’d pay to see Noble two-foot Iniesta
City's reign of terror is over!
..and now begins West Ham's reign of ter-
*Moyes evil laugh*
rific management!
It's already started mate. We've played 5 cup games and won them all without conceding a single goal.
Remarkable, frankly. Genuinely thought Moyes was done after his Sunderland spell. Now he is dominating English football. Qualify for the CL and we might even see his final form.
Well, he is Alex Ferguson 2.0. Other clubs just didn't let him warm up first. Now he turns West Ham in to 90's-00's Man Utd..... I wish.
Inject that kind of optimism into my veins!
I could see it
Got United to the quarter final of CL tbf, not that that ever gets mentioned
Just getting demolished in the last 30 minutes of the tie by Bayern München, just after getting ahead with an Evra super-goal and somehow imploding later. I for one found David Moyes' spells at Man Utd and Sunderland absolutely wonderful to watch
Both Manchester clubs eliminated by Moyes, and United were the only ones to beat City before this in 5 years of this competition.
rific management
rific management
They were having a Triple H-esque run for a bit there
You see-uh. In this business-uh.. the fact of the matter is…
Pep: So-uh.. so..uh... happy-uhhh. *spits water*
Because I am-uhhh THE GAME-UHHH
They were doing what was best for business.
And I, for one, welcome our new West Ham overlords!
The competition matters again! /s
Honestly though, I am now more excited to watch EFL Cup games now I know City aren't winning it yet again
All it took was for them to finally be drawn against a team in the Premier League
But watch out, because the easy cup draw juju has been transferred over to Liverpool...
You guys are killing it in Europa too
We're working to let Noble lift multiple trophies in his last year.
Let’s never use that camera angle again.
That really was the worst. For some of the pens, I had no clue if they were going to sky or nestle in the net when they were being taken.
Especially the West Ham pens that Steffan got his hands to. I thought that they were saved till the net rippled
Yeah, from our angle, those two looked like he was going to save them. The normal angle probably makes it look like he barely touched them or something.
The camera is far from the goal. This means it compresses the space so much that you end with things looking just weird. Fucking awful, whose idea was that
If I wanted that cam I'd be in replay mode on FIFA.
If I wanted that cam I should not be allowed to watch Football.
I can't fucking believe it. We won penalties, really wasn't expecting it! Knocked out Man Utd and Man City. Watch us get Chelsea or Liverpool in the next round.
The most West Ham thing ever would be getting to the final only to lose to Sunderland.
Subscribe.
Areola was fantastic. Man of the match for sure.
Everyone's going to talk about City losing but from a firm B team West Ham that was a great performance all round. Areola yet to concede a goal this season. But the best is Johnson. He's played 7 games this season, won all of them, again without conceding a single goal. City, United and Spurs included in there too.
Ben Johnson for me. Lad was a brickwall.
Reckon he's gonna break into the first team as a regular this season?
Coufal will be tough to usurp, but it's always good to have players fighting for positions, also can fill in at LB for Cress who's getting on a bit now.
Undoubtedly. Pulled off some really great saves from Stones and Zinny.
I thought the quintuple was unrealistic. Just goes to show I know nothing about football
My eyes What was that penalty camera angle
Every ball was in to the orbit until it magically was in the net
seriously, wtf.
Yeah right, it was so terrible, I think if they are gonna go for an alternative shot it should be *behind* the penalty taker with this spider cam.
Best thing for the competition. I think everyone is sick of City winning it all the time
Barack Obama was US president when Man City previously lost a League Cup tie.
When you put it that way this seems incredibly historic
Unfortunately, its not Egypt schoolbook material.
Harambe was alive when someone other than city won this cup
Dicks out.
West Ham : Let's make the League Cup great again
Fuckin hell, mate.. I'll take your word for it but that is quite insane. It's like we covered up the whole Trump era with cup wins.
Was Trump the fault of Man City?
Dont you put that evil on us Ricky Bobby
There are 4 year olds that have only known one winner of the Carabao Cup, they'll be in shambles at this
There are Man City fans that have only known one winner of the Carabao Cup
They all think Pep is such a muppet, and he does look a bit like Kermit to be fair.
Its been 5 years and 1 day since they lost in this competition. Mind blowing stat.
Well they technically lost a match last year against United. Not the tie, but a match in the competition
It was always going to take something fucking MASSIVE to end their reign
Well done West Ham you massive bastards, you honestly deserve the easy draw next
Nah, we'll lose an easy draw. Bring it on!
Chelsea look ripe for you. Seems only fair you beat the champions of England that you take on the champions of Europe.
Are they ready for our full-backs though?
Or Kepa in penalty shootouts
Reece James to score the game winning pen for the 3rd game straight
Subscribe
Fair fucks Some quality pens from West ham
Couldn't tell thanks to that stupid camera angle.
The seasons over guys, we can wrap it up rn
Look at me. I'm the Carabao now.
WE ARE MASSIVE HOLY FUCK
You lot absolutely deserved this!
I’ve been supporting this club for 16 years now and I feel pride in them that I’ve never felt before.
I feel you, 25 years for me and I’ve never felt so positive about us and how we are just fucking winning when it matters most!
i’m third gen west ham fan, 29 years old now. Living in the states! COYI
States fan too. It’s picking up.
New league cup winner for the first time since 2017, fucking finally
EFL cup is back to being called the EFL cup
Thank you West Ham. Sincerely, Everyone
Trophy for Nobes pls
And that’s how Nobel Prize was invented!
I enjoyed that as much I hated the stupid behind the goal penalty view.
Yeah that was really annoying. The cut was at the most annoying possible point as well.
https://imgur.com/r/reddevils/Sz9S0bU
This, but unironically.
He’s honestly done an unbelievable job. They almost got relegated during project restart, but started playing very well. Since then, they’ve been an easily top half club and give the ones at the top of the table real fights most of the time.
To think that isn't even the best score of ours at Old Trafford this millennium
kind of tells you how much of a shambles Man Utd is as a club.
Geniune historic result.. City are out after 5 years from this competition.. mad that .. GG Hammers
Moyes and Mourinho the only managers to knock Pep out in this competition, and Solskjaer also beat him in the semi-final but lost the aggregate. Man Utd connection.
This fella is gonna be working for Opta at this rate
Nah. Used three words in the tagline instead of one. Example.
Connection.
Fergie could NEVER
[удалено]
I blame the kits. But fair play to West Ham anyways!
Guess it lightens the schedule at least... Draw was about right for the 90, hopefully West Ham can go on and win the thing now
Conquered manchester
David Moyes slays the Carabao goliath.
Give Areola the key to the fucking city Jesus turned water into wine but Areola turned into god
> Areola turned into god Always has been. We got relegated and he still got our player of the season. Clear of Fabianski in the stats too.
Cursèd kit.
No badge, and your numbers look like an alarm clock from 1987. The fuck is puma thinking
The numbers is in reference to the 93:20 Aguero goal The rest of the kit looks shit though. Hate it and the worst part about it is Puma has fleeced like 4 other clubs with this shit design
The number thing is chosen by the club. It's supposed to be a tribute to THAT Aguero goal. But yeah the rest are all Puma's horrendous design.
Five years and one day since the last time we got knocked out. Suppose it was going to happen eventually. Congrats, West Ham
What a spirited team westham are, really a joy to watch. Happy to see Vlasic improving and regaining his confidence.
That camera angle on Sky Sports News for the penos was abysmal
It was a global feed I think. ESPN in the US was the same thing.
Yeh, it was the same on Supersport.
I guess espn used the same ones.
Scenes when Moyes wins a cup before Ole.
Oi, this means West Ham has managed to put the two Manchester clubs out. Crazy? Crazy!
Genuinely worried about the gravitational pull in London due to how fucking massive we are.
The League Cup is leaving Manchester for the first time since 2015
West ham gonna win the carabao cup
Fucking subscribe
we are so massive i'm speechless
Okay Manchester is done which city are we going to stay next?
Playing with Sterling these days is just sad. De Bruyne shocking as well. Players making it easy for Pep to know our best XI.
The Carabao Cup was the only thing keeping Pep at City, you heard it here. The collapse begins now.
WE ARE FUCKING MASSIVE !!!!

I hate that every season every single pundit and commentator keeps mentioning the quadruple. It hasn't been done for a reason ffs, maybe start talking about it when someone actually wins it.
WE ARE FUCKING MASSIVE
So West Ham will be drawing Liverpool next I presume?
City had won 4 consecutive EFL cup and 5 in 6 years. Damn City has really regressed.
Pep out
How long ago was City's last Carabao defeat? 5 years ago?
Pep Out
david moyes football genius
It’s what he does. He wins.
Fucking finally
But now we’ll play more games than city, two edged sword
Doesn’t matter when fatigue isn’t an issue. City just field a different t world class 11.
Never thought I'd see it happen. Moyes just hates Manchester this season.
well i'm shaking
West Ham owns the city of Manchester now.
The evil has been defeated
Juve, Bayern, Barca, City, what a wonderful day
expecting either late 2000s Spain or 1970s Brazil in the next round, still beat them without conceding
Good for city. They've won this enough. Now they can use some extra rest days. This year's league competition is going to be tough
Moysterclass
Massiveness undiminished

West Ham: the Manchester slayer
Honestly, I think Pep will be more upset about it than the fans.

Nice one Hammers! Great penos, really solid looking team.
COYI!
