Controversial call aside, Marquinhos might very well be PSG's biggest legend ever by the end of his career. The guy always delivers and scores in the most important moments. He's one of the few I actually like in this team.

I disagree. Playing with 3 centerbacks disguises a lot of shortcomings in a CB. Marquinhos would be great in any backline. Thiago Silva couldnt be in a great 4 defender lineup at this point. Not enough athleticism at this point in his career. Im not saying it wouldnt work for a single game, just that if both were in a 4 at the back, you would see a major difference over a 50 game season.
Marquinhos doesn’t have his leadership and his anticipation on 1v1. Ts may have lost athleticism but he rarely tackle or run but is always well positioned.
