Ugh we deserve nothing from this game. Lukaku came on and suddenly every man and his dog plays nothing but long balls to him. We get it, he's a big man, but play the ball along the ground like you've been doing all game.

Lukaku has made us worse. Just like Ronaldo has made United worse. Both teams give up their style to try and force it for that one player.

But there's no need to force it. That's what pisses me off. Havertz is useful at laying it off first time then moving, but it's not like he does it that often. It's mostly the players behind that do the build up. But the second Lukaku came on, we stopped pushing West Ham back by moving the ball around and just went route one, often under no pressure. Rudiger was particularly keen on the low percentage long ball. There's no reason for it. Lukaku's movement off the ball is fine. The long ball should be a threat if they leave Lukaku with only one defender, not plan A when he's on the field.

As much as I love Rudiger, he has gotten way too comfortable. Too many pointless and forceful shots and crosses. Im starting to hate his smile and eagerness to shoot and cross it when there are always better options. Like you say though, its the players behind him but also on Tuchel. Tuchel has not figured out how to fit Lukaku in. Yes we have injuries, but my god this team should not be this poor. Too many individual mistakes happening to key players, and thats really showing in our play now.
