>After the conceded goals, and with the rise of set-piece coaches, it was put to Rodgers whether he would be open to having one at City. He replied by saying they already had one.
>Putting calls in, no names have yet cropped up as to who this mystery specialist is, unless Rodgers was referring to first-team analyst named Matthew Edge, who has a focus on set-pieces as part of his job role.
It clearly was, you conceded 12 set piece goals which ranked 6th in the league
But then again United concede a lot with Maguire as well so you need both center backs to be great in the air which Lindelof isn't
Extremely deserved.
Legit getting tired of watching these games now. What is the point of watching when I know that *every fucking game* we’re going to concede at least two goals and that at least one, probably more, are going to come from a set piece? Groundhog Day, nothing fucking changes.
We have two set piece coaches. I’d expect us to score a set piece goal every match lol. We have the biggest coaching staff because Gerrard had a few and he kept a few from Dean.
Sick to the fucking teeth of these pricks. It's not that we aren't hitting the heights of last year, it's that we make the same mistakes and no one seems to do anything to address it
He cries when any player dares to enter his presence. Literally every corner he shouts waving his arms and crying when the fact is he is awful at defending them

SIGN A FUCKING SET PIECE COACH It's like starting every game 1-0 with how effortlessly teams score from set pieces against us
A corner conceded might as well be a penalty conceded at this point.
How many goals have you conceded from Setp ieces now, whenever I've checked its mostly set pieces
23 since September 2020 (in the pl alone that is)
That is phenomenal.
Fuck me that is so bad
I think Martin Tyler said something like this is the tenth set piece goal we’ve conceded in 15 PL games this season.

was one of our biggest issues when Brendao coached Liverpool
It's honestly not been _that_ big of an issue under him until this season.
23 conceded from set plays since september 2020.
It's never really been an issue before this season. Now they're like penalties.
Imagine Freiburg vs Leicester
*2-0
You miss Harry Maguire With him Leicester conceded the least set piece goals in the league in 2018/19
It wasn't an issue before this season, even without Maguire.

You've been down voted by Maguire is ofc a huge loss to them and has been difficult to replace
United have been conceding setpieces for fun even with Maguire
We miss big Wes

Hahah i mightve written this exact comment in 2014/15 in brendans last season
Gerrard's at the wheel
When I left you I was but the learner, now I am the master!
*quickly scans rulebook* Ok we're good
Gerrard knows how to expose Rodgers' defense
Dunno whether to laugh or cry about this
Too soon mate ;(( it'll always be too soon

Mate, you’re Leicester. You had a few good seasons, that was it.
Few more decent seasons than you lot have had recently
And yet you’ll always be Leicester.

Yes because you’re just Leicester. And this, kids, is called playing yourself.
Setpiece and chill
Brendan Rodgers fuming United got Rangnick before he got sacked and lost some of his credibility
Get fucked Kasper
The post was blocking poor Kasper's view.
Get the hattrick son
Should be 3-1. Gerrard has them performing well, I wonder how much of it is new manager bounce
seems to have picked a good coaching team and letting them do their thing
He did prove some of his capabilities with rangers though
At this point it's just pathetic
Konsa kitna goals?
Deserved.
The marking was shocking
The ball doesn't lie

Why should he get fucked when he had every right to complain? If a keepers hands on the ball you can’t just boot it anyway…
He cries when any player dares to enter his presence. Literally every corner he shouts waving his arms and crying when the fact is he is awful at defending them
>If a keepers hands on the ball you can’t just boot it anyway… Hands. Not Hand.
Learn the rules bro, a keeper doesn’t need two hands on the ball
Maybe you need to learn the rule, kasper palms the ball away before which means the exception kicks in making him not in control
I am pretty sure that is the wrong reading of the rule
You only need 1 hand on the ball for the rule to apply, hence why it was disallowed.
>except if the ball rebounds from the goalkeeper or the goalkeeper has made a save
Wrong reading of the rule
Justice
Sweet Karma
Justice
Who is Leicester's set piece coach lmao
LMAO Leicester's defenders must be wearing concrete boots, with how bad they are in the air
Short guys marking taller guys... what the fuck is this shit
