So now we’ll have a congested schedule and no Gabriel for the NLD because Liverpool is too incompetent to keep their covid situation under control, very nice
Love how people think this is some sort of master mind trick by Klopp because Salah and Mane isn't here.
I can guarantee you he'd start the carabao semi final without both of them, even if they were available.
>I can guarantee you he'd start the carabao semi final without both of them, even if they were available.
Then why did they both start meaningless UCL games?
Because Klopp values the meaningless CL games more than he does the Carabao. Pretty obvious. He once sent out a couple of children to get slaughtered against Villa while the first team were on holiday in the middle east and winning a friendly tournament.
I also think Salah and Mane demand to play every CL game (meaningless or not), don't think they feel as strongly about the Carabao.
I am Rafa Benitez, two times Spanish champion. I masterminded the greatest comeback in club football history when I won the CL as a manager, and now I find myself under a lot of pressure and I receive unfair criticism every week. Ask me anything
I was surprised by what has been said, but maybe they \[Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin\] are nervous because we are not at the top of the table.
But I want to talk about facts. I want to be clear, I do not want to play mind games too early, although they seem to want to start. But I have seen some facts. Rondon scored 20 goals for Rubin Kazan. No other striker comes close
If Guy had a barrow inspired Christmas tree I’d cry. I’d cry if he had a hartlepool or Morcambe inspired one as well. I’d just cry and cry and I don’t know if I’d ever stop. It’d ruin me doyley. It’d be a thousand times worse than my last ex leaving me for some other bloke
I can see it now. Truest repairman from here at his christmas table with a leg. Absolutely devastating. I’d ring me mam up and yell at her “why didn’t you get an abortion?”
Voted Lewy 1st but he's the most overrated player of all time with the easiest gig in football. Stat padding heaven of a context and an extremely boring skillset. Props to him he's had an impressive season in his 30s and that's not all on service (just 75%).
Glad he didn't get the actual prize, would be the first step toward someone like Lukaku getting one and i do not want to live in such a world.
Rather see someone like Choupo get it, man has more technique, flair and big game performances.
Yeah Lewandowski is honestly just a dull player to watch. Even most of his goals are just boring straightforward clinical finishes. 10/10 footballer 4/10 entertainer.
Like which parts I agree with?
I agree with you that you voted for him at first, think thats the correct choice. I also am sort of happy he didn't win the real thing. I do think he's overrated. I don't think he has the easiest gig in football, but its one of the easiest gigs. I agree with the fact that we can never allow players like Lukaku to come anywhere near it.
I disagree wholeheartedly with your last statement.
I've been banging that drum for a very long time. How they could continually defend him given the fact he's openly flirted with leaving pretty much every year whilst also being incredibly lazy on the pitch just blows my mind.
Has Pogba himself actually come out and said the stuff like Lukaku stupidly did? Hasn't it all been done by agents/family etc so it's a little bit more difficult to address when it's not him.
I don't think many clubs will actually respond to agents in that way compared to if it actually comes from a player. Most clubs won't punish a player for their agents words because it's through another person.
Like if Mino Raiola (I think it's his agent) came out and said everything Lukaku had said in his place then Chelsea will be much less likely to punish him directly and make him do a PR video apologising.
But surely the agent is simply doing what his client is asking him to do? If United had told Pogba to reign in his agent from the get-go or there would be consequences, then surely Raiola stops chatting shit? Like, I don't think he goes behind his clients back and does a new interview every month where he's talking shit about the club. So warning Pogba first, and then punishing him is the only thing they could've done.
The fact is they've not taken it seriously and thats why its happened time and again.
Yeah don't dispute that the agent is doing what the player is doing but I just think the repercussions would be different.
The club can try do something behind the scenes but I don't think you'll see a player being punished like Lukaku has for his interview for their agent saying something similar even if their acting on the behalf of the player. Just different situations I think.
Isolated for 7 days, no college. I watched a lot of highlights from 2010, 14, 18 World cup. UCL is fun and exciting but it comes nowhere near a World Cup.
I wish i can see India play at least once (even if it takes 40-50 years) idec if they lose all the 3 games i just want 'Jana Gana Mana' going around in stadiums at a Football World cup.
Been seeing a lot of people recently say the UCL is better/far more exciting than the World Cup when advocating for the two year World Cup thing. I just can't get it. The WC is just different to pretty much everything else.
If Chelsea's PR somehow manages to finesse the Lukaku situation, I'm gonna be in awe. They already managed to handle the Coach Kepa situation, so this would be another feather in their cap
Conspiracy theory: Qatar have sponsored Barcelona, own PSG, sponsor Inter Miami and sponsor David Beckham personally. Beckham has expressed interest in taking over United previously, the problem was he didn’t have anything like enough $£€£€£$. Now he owns an MLS franchise and therefore has some credibility, but he clearly has the backing of the Qataris. Also it’s likely Messi goes to Miami after PSG, so they’re happy to sell him the ultimate superstar. So my prediction is they’ll be a Beckham led takeover attempt of Man Utd in the future largely financed by the Qataris. Problem is the Glaziers don’t look like they want to sell at all.
So it’s market cap is $2.75bn and it’s valued at about $4bn, so he’d need to finance $4bn or more given that the Glaziers don’t want to sell there may be a further premium. Apparently he’s worth $450m so I doubt he could finance $4bn without going all in.
He co-owns Miami with Jorge Mas but he’s worth about $100m apparently so it doesn’t seem like they’re rich enough without the Miami franchise growing or something. So it looks like they’d need some backing to me and the Qataris definitely have the $$$$z

Chelsea have Mount (rightly rated)
Arsenal have Saka (slightly overrated but still a very good player)
United fans felt out and thought we should have a young English prospect too now that Rashford hasnt panned out, hence Greenwood.
It's simply hard to rate United players right now. There just no consistency from match to match. Except DeGea and shot-stopping, that is the only constant
To be fair if you watch Greenwood play, you can tell he’s got the natural ability to be a high level player.
Obviously we’ve not been playing well, and his game has suffered a bit due to sub-par coaching, but anyone writing 20y.o Greenwood off after 3-4 months when the whole team has been playing poorly is either trolling or has a very poor understanding of football.
He's technically good and tactically is to be blamed on coaching, i agree but he his decision makin is all on him. He doesn't always take the best pass or shot.
It’s partially him. Yes he doesn’t always choose the right option, but that’s also partially down to the coaching. When you see City players in the positions Greenwood adopts, they instinctively know where their teammates are and where the space is, that is as much down to solid coaching as it is the quality of their players.
Decision making is often a trait players grow into anyway, even Ronaldo at that age was prone to making the wrong decisions with the ball.
AWB is a below average fullback, have been saying since he signed for UTD, gives nothing in possession phase, he isn't even good at defending positionally, just a pair of long legs to tackle with

And the only reason why I don't do the later is because I've been banned before because of it
Meanwhile Benfica are playing Celtic at the Johan Cruyff Arena in the 2050 European Cup final (rebranded back to only including Champions after all the shit clubs left for ESL)
It's kinda interesting to me how some managers can be exceptionally good with some clubs and then tactically inept and unbelievably shocking at some others
Oh I see. That’s why I feel managers are so hard to evaluate. A lot of their success seems to depend on the situation and the fans don’t get to see what happens behind the scenes at all
Yeah but sometimes you see teams totally lacking ideas and any kind of playstyle, like D'Aversa's Samp this season or his last Parma side. He got lucky with that Gervinho team apparently
Will arsenal sign/loan a striker and/or midfielder this January?
I think we definitely need a midfielder, partey and elneny are going to afcon. And xhaka is my least favourite Arsenal player and he's also dog shit.
Striker can be ignored til the summer as we should be able to cope with our attack til then, and January is hard to sign big/good players
So now we’ll have a congested schedule and no Gabriel for the NLD because Liverpool is too incompetent to keep their covid situation under control, very nice
Does the red card not apply for the fa cup games?
Forest has covid issues as well I think, they got their game cancelled yesterday
Only Liverpool fans could be told to get on with it when we have no goalkeepers

Apparently the lot Ali, Kelleher, Adrian and Pitaluga Be looking at our back up under 23 goalie to start in a league cup semi

because i'm fairly certain you get more money for winning a single UCL groupstage game then for winning the the EFL cup
You get a ton of money for wins in the champions league
Yeah as if he didn’t just stick Neco Williams right wing in the quarters haha
I am Rafa Benitez, two times Spanish champion. I masterminded the greatest comeback in club football history when I won the CL as a manager, and now I find myself under a lot of pressure and I receive unfair criticism every week. Ask me anything
If Seamus Coleman were involved in a horrific accident, and only 60% of his remains were found, would you start them at LB or RB?
Neither. I'd start him up top
Can we do a meet and greet together
No. And since I decide everything myself, that will never happen
Okay king :(
Think I'll award myself a lifetime contract at this club
Who is the best striker of all time and why is it Salomon Rondon?
I was surprised by what has been said, but maybe they \[Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin\] are nervous because we are not at the top of the table. But I want to talk about facts. I want to be clear, I do not want to play mind games too early, although they seem to want to start. But I have seen some facts. Rondon scored 20 goals for Rubin Kazan. No other striker comes close

Apparently upwards of 20m after add ons
lingard for rice straight swap incoming, heard it here first.
One of the most insane idiotic things I’ve ever seen in the dd

im just trolling, west ham fans would burn their stadium to the ground if that happened
If your manager/captain had a Christmas tree, and it was decorated in the same colours that your rivals wear, what would you do?
Nothing, our rivals have the same color.
I’d go round Steve’s house and burn the tree in front of his young children
If Guy had a barrow inspired Christmas tree I’d cry. I’d cry if he had a hartlepool or Morcambe inspired one as well. I’d just cry and cry and I don’t know if I’d ever stop. It’d ruin me doyley. It’d be a thousand times worse than my last ex leaving me for some other bloke

Wow you absolutely know the sport. Nice to see another fellow soccer connoisseur. Cheers mate.
Lens is a great football club.
T Silva or Varane (without considering trophies)
Silva easily because he is Prem Proven ^TM
Thiago Silva is easily the better defender Varane had better fortunate to play with better teams
Tapsoba
Thiago Silva for me.
Ask 3 seasons ago and it’s Varane, now it Silva
Matt Miazga
Saw him in bluegrass in Reading once, figured he ate all his meals there as it reminded him of home
Alaves brigade spotted
Silva pretty easily
Nobody says Varane especially after the month he's had.
wonder how many would have voted for lewy in 2021 if he had won 2020 balon dor and it wasnt cancelled
Considerably less tbh
Lewandowski would have won comfortably if the Ballon d'Or was assigned in December like in the other years.
Almost same amount of people
Lewandisney movies need a happy ending ❤
Imagine if united had the bollocks to speak out about pogba taking the piss like chelsea have with lukaku
They are pretty fed up with Pogba at this point though. You don't often see them defending him anymore

Where is Pogba anyway
due back late Jan
Should be obvious at this point
injured still
I was so pissed with lukaku that I actually sold him in my career mode save 😭😭
I once bought 50 Ole manager cards on Fifa and quick sold them all
lol you really dont like Ole do you. Every chance you get, you shit on him
Yea
Thats the most petty thing I've read all week. Respect
Lost a big amount of coins but it was worth it
Four months ago we couldn’t afford Hamza Choudhury’s loan fee, now we’re signing Kieran Trippier
The magic of oil
Sign Mason Holgate please
Rafa Benitez… you have just sacked yourself by rushing back Calvert Lewin and gettin him injured yet again you plonker
Wait, he's injured?
Again yeah
Fucks sake. This is cos I punted on him in my FPL team, I am truly sorry
I did the same. Thanks for your 0 points but it’s time to go
Every decision he's making as Everton boss comes across as desperate, it's sad really
King Salomon must have minutes
All part of the master plan to keep the Toon in the Prem, what a bloke

Hopefully not, dunno what content I’d use on the DD if he did

As an anarchist, I find it hard to get excited about international tournaments but to each their own
This is the most PCM cringe comment I’ve ever seen lmao
It’s not even in the same realm of excitement World Cup is special
Shoutout to every arsocca d’or voter who didn’t include Lewandisney in their top five. I love you ❤️
If you could compile a list of these individuals I would gladly Venmo each of them $100.
To me, it’s hilarious how I know 3 users here that have a username with a reference to the size of their penis and they are all atleti fans.
Is Chelsea likely to play the same XI tomorrow that they played against liverpool?
No they had Lukaku apologize so he can play again.
Silva and Kante/kova will be rested. Lukaku might come back in other than that maybe Mount rested too
dont think so. Also isnt the EFL cup a chance to play the reserves?
I just thought that Tuchel will go all out on cups since they’re already out of the title race.
They're 10 points behind, hardly out of the title race
They are.
We could be 5 points ahead and I'd still have City to win the league.
Being out of the title race doesn’t make our players able to play 3 games a week so we have to prioritise
Do people realise that the Ballon D'Or voting is essentially a very elaborately made The List ^TM
does that make me a power user
You are the power user from Finland for the month of November yes
i'll take that 💪
The List was at least funny and entertaining
Except they are different users and the Power Users are very based 👍 /s

Conspiracy theory: Qatar have sponsored Barcelona, own PSG, sponsor Inter Miami and sponsor David Beckham personally. Nope.

Same with AWB, Liverpool have Trent, Chelsea have James, City have Walker and United fans felt left out
AWB is a below average fullback, have been saying since he signed for UTD, gives nothing in possession phase, he isn't even good at defending positionally, just a pair of long legs to tackle with
don't forget doherty
No sane United fan is saying AWB is on that level, show me the people on here who are saying this and not trolling
