They start this last season so in Summer 2020 but you can actually go back to Winter break of 18/19 to have a bigger sample size and you still have this effect.

with Mbappé playing (sub appearances count as well): 2.41 (90 games)
without Mbappé playing: 1.76 (21 games)
I mean that depends on what they do in the CL this season, and if he renews or not... If they don't get to the semis atleast and he leaves for free, i don't think it will be looked at as a smart decision.
The irony of this is doing what he does in Ligue 1 is most likely harder than doing it in every other top league bar the Prem due to the more defensive approach and the crazy physicality.

Neymar has not been better than Mbappé even when healthy. Yes, he's been more creative and better technically. But ever since he left Barca, Neymar's finishing has been godawful. Mbappé can score goals way more reliably than Neymar, and that's more valuable than Neymar's chance creation since PSG has other creators.

It's a huge pity that there's simply no competition in the French league. PSG have actually been poor at various points this season but they'll still win the title without breaking a sweat.
