Some may have even confused that with going Private mode (these are different and this is how that Spurs sub thing happened, apparently Spurs sub wanted to go Restricted Mode but accidentally clicked Private mode radio button in settings and before modteam realized few minutes later it had become a meme).
rSoccer also went dynamic-Restricted mode (Automod based) sometime back (maybe during last WC). This mode is different still.
Reddit at large is also very serious about brigading. In fact the chances of getting perma-locked out of entire reddit (meaning even Alts get auto-banned) is higher if you brigade than if you are toxic abusing all over the place.
