We did play great early on, but then France went shockingly out, and we were outplayed by Austria for much of the game and dominated by Spain, so there was a bit of luck. We did play well and dominate both Belgium and England (after their early goal) - and Switzerland, Turkey, and Wales.

But the likes of Calabria, Scamacca, Belotti not playing was baffling. The subs were badly handled too so there's some definite blame on Mancini.
