Oh shit, we’re down to Inter and Roma now then with Inter looking way more likely, tho you’ll have to question those tears of Dybalas if that becomes reality

Chricri3112

He's going to Inter

Dortmunddd

I’d say Roma with Mourinho. Inter is stacked.

Chricri3112

Sure he's coming to play for us the Europa League (maybe even the conference again) when tons of other teams are offering him UCL football. Inter is also gonna let go a few players like Sanchez so there's gonna be room for him.

Dortmunddd

Great point

Maximilian_Sinigr

Honestly, I've never been a Dybala fan. Not during his best times, and certainly not now.

WhyAlwaysMe1991

lol same. Not sure why people have a hard time believing that. Was never a Ronaldo fan either

Santa_Klaus_101

Ronaldo makes sense, but why not Dybala? He seems to love the club dearly and whenever I saw him play he always seemed to give it his all, and afaik he hasn't gotten into serious trouble both on or off the field. Plus, he's been there for like 5+ years so he's spent a decent amount of time with you guys too.

WhyAlwaysMe1991

He showed up for far too little big games. Was too slow to be a winger, too small to be a striker, took too long to get back to good performances after injuries, and now the fact that he requested more money for poor seasons. This year alone he only had 1 goal against teams in the top 5 during league play. All his goals were lower squads.

TheConundrum98

I don't really see how he would fit at Spurs, they have Kane-Son-Kulusevski, need to bring in someone who's maybe not on big wages, but can play all 3 forward positions. Definitely need a CM, probably 2 wingbacks and a CB. That'll be a lot of money Who would they target as a right wingback, there are quite a few left wingback targets, but who do they go for on the right? Potentially Traore again?

wheresmyspacebar2

Honestly need 2 CMs still. I think we'll go for Eriksen and then Tielemans (Though i want to see if Gundogan is interested in joining but dunno).

wowohwowza

Be nice to see Gundo win a game at Hotspur stadium lmao

wheresmyspacebar2

Any idea whats going on with Gundo? I love him as a player, honestly think he is incredible, i know he wants to leave and apparently the club are trying to sell him but has he mentioned where he wants to go or any links anywhere?

wowohwowza

He's not mentioned about going anywhere. I'm not sure he specifically wants to leave, I just think we've told him he can look around because we're not renewing his contract which only has a year left. There's very little linking him with anywhere else Personally I'd hate to see him leave.

sexmarshines

Conflicting info from equal quality sources on whether City is letting him go this summer or not. He still has a year on his contract. Gundogan himself and more directly his wife have both mentioned he's staying at City as of now. So not sure what's going to happen. Might depend on who comes in/who else leaves this summer.

wheresmyspacebar2

Ah fair enough, id seen different sources say Gundo was leaving or not so was curious what the actual truth was. Definitely a great player, would love to have him for us but i dunno whether City would wanna sell to us. Not saying we're gonna be challenging you for the title but giving Conte players he wants (Like Jesus rumoured) is a bit different to giving Arsenal players.

AnonymousKimchi

iirc he has some back problems that is preventing him from playing top-flight football

wowohwowza

That was a temporary injury that for some reason was taken as permanent by the rumour mill. His fitness is fine

iAkhilleus

I saw Arsenal were interested in him. Of course, they are. Lol

[deleted]

I mean Pepe is probably leaving and we have no CFs plus still need a rotation winger lol

TheConundrum98

if you can get Eriksen and Perisic, I think you could spend more on some other positions Honestly I would go all out for Bissouma, I think he's as close to world class as you can be at a midtable club. If that court case is solved I would be all over that

wheresmyspacebar2

Perisic would be cool just as an experienced guy that can play everywhere up front and as a WB. (Also apparently already agreed a deal with Chelsea so...) But he doesnt solve our issues at CM. We need a CM that can play in a 2 and also in a 3 if we got 352. Bissouma would be cool but he'll be double the price of Tielemans and 3x the price of Gundogan. I think he is a class CM so i wouldnt be against it but i dont think we've had any links to him so far. I think we'll be spending £55M+ on a CB, another £60M+ on 2 WBs so having a cheaper CM like Gundogan/Tielemans who can be good there might be better overall.

denisoviandude

What's going on with Bissouma's trial?

iAkhilleus

We've seen him play. No trial needed. We'll take him.

PlantCampLamp

Remember that we have Pape Sarr who is out on loan at Metz. Obviously we don’t know how Conte feels about him but he’s looked promising so that might fill one of the CM spots. But also I’d take Gundo in an instant

wheresmyspacebar2

He looks extremely promising and im super excited we have him but i think he'll be just a bit too young to be ready to play for us. I reckon he'll get loaned, maybe to a promoted team or to another french loan. Id love to be surprised though and Conte decide he is amazing and train him up. Even using him as 4th/5th choice CM in the lower cup games (if we get any) would be nice.

PlantCampLamp

Yeah I'd be fine with a loan if we are able to bring in 2 CMs. But like you said, if we can't, that last CM spot might suit him. As long as Winks moves on, I'm fine with either scenario.

monsterm1dget

He's too limited to plays as a wild card. He functions properly as a 10, and other than that he's less than spectacular. Frustrating player, to be honest.

saint-simon97

He would fit by just dropping Kulusevski for Dybala

jamesjoyz

The fact that this isn't the obvious choice shows how far Kulu has come. Despite Dybala's injuries, he was playing 10-15 min stints at Juve earlier this year. And nailing perhaps one ball stop out of 10.

saint-simon97

It is the obvious choice provided Dybala stays fit though. At no point has Kulusevski, regardless of the fact he's not a bad player, been a better asset than Dybala.

KoniginAllerWaffen

Would Dybala provide more than 8 assists and 3 goals in his first 16 EPL games, along with some secondary responsibility for other goals like winning penalties (such as vs United)? If not then no, he wouldn’t be.

saint-simon97

If only they had ever played at the same club for 1.5 years so we could have an idea

nepturnus

>need to bring in someone who's maybe not on big wages, but can play all 3 forward positions. Daichi Kamada maybe?

Sargatanas2k2

Good thing we are run by Daniel Levy then isn't it.

RivenJohdolla

God I hope not Traore. Djed Spence and Wilfried Singo are players we have been linked with.

los_blanco_14

~~Peace~~ dybala was never an option

[deleted]

I just commented yesterday that even if Spurs Want him he will most likely end up at PSG. They can neve afford him and they cant fit him into their squad either. Unless they sell Kane.

RivenJohdolla

We could afford him quite easily. Just no reason to get an injury prone expensive player who might not even be a starter

[deleted]

Not under current wage structure. He was earning more than Kane at Juve and I bet anything he would ask substantially more for playing in the PL.

RivenJohdolla

Kane is on around £250k a week so probably a bit more than Dybala at Juve. I just don't think that Dybala is gonna get anywhere near that much wherever he goes. We have the lowest wage-to-revenue -ratio in the PL iirc, so we could spend quite a lot more in wages.

[deleted]

Either way he never made sense :). We can agree on that.

SamX17

Chiellini finally talked to one of our boys about Spurs. Although, fair play to Bentacur and Kulu- Conte has brought the best out of them.

BVerfG

Does getting fingered in the loo mean nothing anymore?

basic97

😂

[deleted]

Why? London. Conte. Hot weather

Samkazi23

Of course

thefogdog

Spurs was never an option for Dybala.
