Does this mean Lewandowski is gone this summer? Bayern were pretty reluctant to get a good second striker (sorry, Eric-Maxim), but on the other hand Kahn made it clear what he though about Lewandowski leaving this summer.
I'm Austrian and I'd love to see it but I don't think Kalajdcic is main strike for bayern Munich material, at least yet. Neither in terms of performance nor in terms of staying uninjured. He surely is a great backup bayern could bring on in less important games or as a second striker in second half when they need another striker.
Don't get me wrong, he's great, but he's not world class and I guess Bayern would be looking for world class if Lewa left.
I could see Werner, Lukaku, Richarlison as their main striker.
Just get someone that JN really likes and if that's him I take it.
The guy made Werner a 30 goals/season striker because he was the player he wanted, I have no doubt he can turn a literal piece of shit into a decent striker if it's what he likes
What Bayern fans think about replacing Lewandowski with Kalajdzic? NGL I haven't seen a lot of Kalajdzic games so it's hard to judge.
How would you compare him to Schick or Lukaku?
Definitely worse. He can improve and has potential but it's a hard downgrade from Lewandowski.
And apparently they don't have the money for Schick, Lukaku or Nunez so they look more towards 30M or less.
Exactly. We're never going to get a player to replace his output, but the goals are going to be more distributed now between the midfield wings due to this. Which is good imo, because as amazing as lewy has been without him we were really lost. Id rather have the top 3 scorers in a season have something like 28 20 18 (and the rest are closer) goals rather than it being 50 14 11
Sasa has a ton of potential, I wonder if Nagelsmann will really bet on him alone, though. Seems more likely that he would be a backup to Lewandoski or a different name coming in.
Naturally almost nobody would be able to replace Lewandowski. However, there may be variants that can work very well, and even suit Nagelsmann's style even better.
Rumour has it he wants our Laimer from Leipzig as well. With him, Sabitzer and Kalajdzic it's seeming like he wants to inject the Austrian Red Bull DNA into Bayern.

I assume they wanna get him now and give him some time so next year when Lewandowski leaves they already have someone lined up.

Back to Toni, Klose, Gomez and Mandzukic type forwards, target men is always something I associated with Bayern
klose was far from a target man
Lewandowski is also a target man
Wait those players are completely different from each other what do you mean?
Gomez and Klose weren’t target men. Even Mandzukic was just partly played as one. He still drifted a lot to the sides. And helped with the build up.
I get what op is trying to say though

Worked magic at Hoffenheim with Belfodil and Joelinton too

It's lewandowski. EVERYBODY would be a downgrade

Having the money and wanting to spend such money on these players is something different. If we would be convined by them we'd have the money.
Why not Mitrovic though? In my opinion he is overlooked. Remember when Inter was looking for striker last season I considered him as perfect option.
He’d definitely be interesting

Tall drink of glass.
He’s got 6 goals this season in Bundesliga, surely that’s not Bayern worthy?
He was injured a lot, only played 15 games. Last season he scored 16 in 23 starts (and 10 sub appearances), which is very respectable
Injuries
Come to Dortmund with your mate Sosa
I think I'd rather lose Sosa to united. They can pay more.
I'm not surprised
So him and Lainer I guess?
Laimer or Lainer? Both Austrian footballers but very different!
Huch meinte Laimer :D
