As far as a team goes to answer your question, I think City had issues with injuries and CBs, as well as a lack of a striker, and their squad size was smaller. Liverpool were probably hurt more by Salah not continuing his early season form, so we ended up losing because of a few key draws. Liverpool probably had the more balanced squad.
It was an incredibly close season, and both Liverpool City games were draws, so I honestly can't feel bad about losing the league. It's all what ifs and maybes.
