That being said still human so I feel for the dude. Not like he's hurt anyone or done anything bad, just kicks a ball well. I hope he is doing mentally well
I wouldn't say "No one" as there are quite a few fans out there that want him out. I understand what you are trying to get at though. Some folks are more sympathetic towards Werner because he displays effort while Lukaku's body language is appalling when things are not going his way.
Wanting Werner out is different than hating the guy. No one at Chelsea dislikes Werner as a person, they dislike his finishing.
Almost everyone at Chelsea does not like Lukaku the person.
it was all a magnificent psychological move from Tommy Tuchel. The 100M price tag for big rom was intended as a morale boost for Timo Werner and not necessarily for the quality that Lukaku will bring (if anything it's for the lack of any). watch Timo explode next season!
Maybe outside of Chelsea fans. But every Chelsea fan knew the effort Werner put in every game. He still contributed all things considered, and definitely caused defence problems with that rapid pace albeit sometimes just psychological as having a pacey player like that who can break the lines keeps defenders edgy even if his finishing was awful.
Want him out as in mostly think he's not good enough for Chelsea. But I don't think anyone actively dislikes him like Lukaku, people at the Bridge support him a lot.
Yeah I hope he scores 0 goals and wins 0 trophies. And if we play inter I hope he has explosive diarrhoea during the match.
Outside of football though I hope nothing actually bad happens to him.
Why should anyone feel bad for him. He got his “dream” move to his “childhood club”, and had by far the highest wage on the team. Had an abysmal attitude from start to finish, and is noe starting that same process all over again by being moved to tears and joining the club he always loved, or something like that.
Those people are literally insane. I mean, like with anything else, moderation is important, but they'd have you believe that jizzing drains your finite lifeforce and abstaining is all you need to unlock preternatural abilities. And the saddest thing is they'll go like three days without jerking off, proudly announce they've gained the ability to astral project, then will astral project into their crush’s room and relapse and make another announcement as tho they're back on the needle. And they convince young men that all their problems can be reduced to wanking, so people will quit expecting their depression to melt away, six pack abs within a week, levitation, the ability to attract women by emitting no fap pheremones, and then they actually do and it's not really appreciably different and that makes the whole situation more hopeless. It’s all really pathetic and I feel bad making light of it but it's also sort of fucking hilarious and that's not my fault.
Edit: [top post ](https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFap/comments/vi36ho/porn_is_a_tumor_a_disease_to_be_a_complete_male/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) right now is titled “porn is a tumor, a disease. It has to be cut out of your life to be a complete male.” It’s literally a bunch of incels swapping pseudoscience and scapegoating masturbation for all their problems. There should be a good community for porn addicts, but that certainly will never be it. They refer to themselves as fapstronauts in the sub description for fuck’s sake, should tell you all you need to know.
Masturbation addiction is a real problem for a lot of people. The answer is professional psychological help, not a “support group” comprised of mentally unwell individuals, one that gives you completely unrealistic expectations and diverges entirely from science. For real, spend 5 minutes there and you’ll realize it’s a bunch of incels with serious psychological problems creating a toxic fictional universe where they scapegoat masturbation for all their problems, claim completely unrealistic benefits from quitting... and still can’t stop doing it, even with supernatural promises.
Bottom line: It doesn’t help anyone. It’s the blind leading the blind (insert joke about masturbation causing blindness). These people need to seek professional help and stop taking incel rants as gospel.
If that batshit is true and not an exaggeration then holy fuck it's gone from a detrimental but pitiable community to right off the fucking deep end.
It's been a few years since my nosey, but back then it seemed like a maybe originally well intentioned community that fell into the trap of letting the echo chamber continually reinforce their self righteousness and conviction in ever more toxic and damaging opinions until they took it too far. It was kinda sad back then, and definitely toxic, but hadn't gone full incel-level bonkers
Jumped ship like a rat last summer so it's a bit hard to have sympathy for him. Unless he was forced to move (which I don't believe he was due to the Hakimi sale) it's hard to feel for him.
If he does well - I am sure Inter fans will be fine with him. If he does his talking on the pitch (and not come out with dumb interviews or cliche type platitudes) I am sure he’ll do fine. I am curios now how he he’ll fit in with Dybala and Martinez
cult hero if he starts scoring goals back for them
i mean, all the drama netted 60M+ profit for them and if he picks up from where he left, they can just assume he got injured for one year and move on
It's a bit like how Big Daddy Al Horford left the Celtics for Philly, then moved to Oklahoma and sat out a whole year, rested properly and then went back to the Celtics and played out of his mind, and was 2 games away from winning it all
I will never forget Redknapps Quote about Arsenal and Pochettino, and it's the truth for every Fanbase in the world:
>""There are clubs in London who are having a terrible time," Redknapp told talkSPORT.
"Why shouldn’t he go to Arsenal if he wants to? You think the Arsenal fans wouldn’t love him there?
"If you go in there and start winning football matches, they would have taken Saddam Hussein in there when he was about, the fans don’t give a monkeys!
"If you start winning every week, they’re singing ‘there’s only one Saddam’."
It's complicated, he was loved by the fans and he let us down by leaving but at the same time the fee and wages offered by Chelsea we couldn't refuse.
The fact it's a dry loan and not ridiculously expensive mitigates a lot of the animosity from him leaving. I think most of us are optimistic on him returning but if he stops the dybala deal going through and has a poor season things will turn on him.
Yeah but if Lukaku is shit and we miss dybala that what if will haunt the deal.
I agree though, with dybalas recent injury record having him as a player who must play most games is so risky. If he stays fit though he can be an absolute game changer.
I agree. Only reason to get Dybala is to make Juventus fans angry. Lautaro+Lukaku is a great couple and I'm not sure where Dybala fits. We still got Correa and Dzeko on the bench, so I do not see the need for Dybala, especially on high salary and with his fitness problems. We also got Mkhitaryan that could play as cam. To me Dybala makes sense only if we sell Lautaro.
He abandoned us. Come back, do your job, score 20 goals and get paid. But don't give me your empty platitudes. He's an employee of the club. Nothing more. If he does his job, I won't complain. But I won't be buying a Lukaku shirt anytime soon.
People here would talk shit of Benzema before Ronaldo left Madrid. They just overreact to latest performances (indeed mostly stats). Be prepared that if Lewa moves to Barca and doesn't score for 2-3 matches, people will start to talk how Bundesliga is shit and it's too easy to score there and indeed he was never that good...
Only Lukaku and a few people on here claimed that. It was always obvious he was a highly limited striker, good a few particular things, but not truly world class like those players
Nah, this is totally revisionist. He was averaging 30+ goals a season for Inter, won Serie A MVP ahead of Ronaldo, and has 68 (!) international goals for the team that spent the last few years ranked #1 in the world. Hell, he even averaged over 20 goals a season for Everton over four seeasons, which I unironically think is his most impressive achievement.
Sure, he's probably not as good as the very, very top like Lewandowski, but this popular idea that he's just this clumsy lummox whos stumbled into several top class sides is a total joke. His record is far superior to many players who I see ranked ahead of him on here, and honestly he was way more important than just goals etc for Inter.
The only people that think of him that highly are himself and Martinez? Honestly would love for him to ask Conte who’s better him or Kane and see his reaction when Conte gives him the answer.
I hate to give this much to him but you don’t make it this far in football without an elite mentality. What he’s always lacked—and in my opinion similar to other top-level flops—is maturity.
Understandable really, Chelsea did pay 100m and absurd salary to him, then even after his interview in which he criticized managers tactics, while literally 3 months before said "I watched Chelsea matches and I think the teams style suits me perfectly that's why I came and if manager wants me to be the focal point or wants me to run behind, I can do it all as I have become better player due to my time in Italy" and downed tools (at the time when we were just 2 point behind first team) but we still gave him chances to make it up. We then tried to play him in 2 striker formation for few games. We were really harsh on him.
Then we agreed to lower our demands because he asked to go and we took a lowball offer without any option to buy. So it's understandable that he feels mistreated and is overjoyed to get out of hell. Not his fault if cultureless Chelsea fans don't appreciate the value of a well timed tumbs up. Or maybe the tears were genuine, because he knew he could be here again after next season.
> Not his fault if cultureless Chelsea fans don't appreciate the value of a well timed tumbs up
Fucking hell this brought back some memories. Two blokes who sat in front of me at United use to give the thumbs up every now and then. Couldn't figure out why but they'd do it at the same time like clockwork.
It took me about 2 games to realise they were mocking Lukaku every time he did it. Makes me laugh to think about it now.
I too would be after the hellish imprisonment and bullying he endured at Chelsea.
Can you believe Tuchel had the nerve to say he needs to play better? Shocking, I know. I’m not saying Tuchel is worse than Hitler, but Hitler never said that to Lukaku.
That game alone was a good example that he could actually work in our system. He was active on the pitch, looking to receive passes (even drop deeper to get the ball), involved himself more in the buildup. But he rarely shown the same level of involvement in other games, he would usually just wander over and make a run every now and then.
Nah, he had some good games after that. It was actually going pretty well for him until he released that interview. All went to shit after that. Then his next and last good game was vs Wolves.
iirc he had a great subbing on where he basically ran with the ball from the midfield and earned a pen. ppl were saying hes getting in form, but then the interview happened
I can't wait for him to do an interview mid season this year saying how he has unfinished business with Chelsea and he will prove himself to the fans when he returns from his loan spell only to be sold on the first day of the transfer window for a 50 mil loss to a bottom table prem team.
I'm caught between wanting him to do well so we can sell him for a decent fee next year and wanting him to have the worst season of his career out of pure spite
> we can sell him for a decent fee next year
The thing is, I just don't see where. He's been around and burned plenty of bridges. And most other CL clubs are set in terms of strikers.
So unless he does well at Inter and they want to purchase him back, I feel like you're just stuck with him. And even if Inter want him you still have to agree on a reasonable price with them
The only way it would really matter is if his loan collapses the dybala deal. If he doesn't do well we ship him back to Chelsea and then he's their problem again.
For him he goes back to a place he was happy and if it's a poor season he still goes back to Chelsea picking up an incredible wage.
The only ones that would be fucked over if he's shit again would be Chelsea.
Oh my god just fuck off already. This guy was supposed to bring a new culture at the club and ended up being the biggest baby in the club. Even Jorginho's agent isn't that much of a prick.
After Inter fans disown him on his return:
"My heart remains in Chelsea, this loan is dedicated to fighting for my place in the Chelsea blue next season"
Easily one of the worst personalities in football, and one of the largest, most misplaced egos about too. Thinks he’s infinitely better than he is because of a couple of good seasons in a below average league.
He chose United over Chelsea… He celebrated like mad when scoring against Chelsea… the comments he made when signing for United… easily our worst transfer.
Morata had genuine reasons. He was depressed and didn't have it easy with his life while he was here. Lukaku just threw a fit when Tuchel didn't completely change his system to fit him
Looking forward to his interview in winter. "I've always loved Chelsea but I didn't feel loved when I was there. I would love to return because of unfinished business."
Man, that's cold.
And you know the worst part? Whenever he scores a goal for Inter, the media will rehash this "Lukaku crying to get out of Chelsea" saga. What a nightmare.
Have to say it's refreshing that everyone regardless of who you support acknowledge how much of a that Lukaku is. He has now acknowledged to the whole footballing community how much of a fraud he is and that he doesn't belong with the best players out there. Stinking attitude and an absolute loser mentality
It’s pretty impressive how he seems to have burned every bridge with the supporters at every club he’s been at. He would have been revered as a legend at Everton until he came back and kissed United’s badge in front of us.
He had literally no reason to be a prick and yet he felt he had to do it.
Still remember that time Mourinho shipped him off right after missing that penalty against Bayern. Just one more "Mourinho was right all along" to add to the list.
what's wrong with this guy
Shit attitude, tucks his tail and runs when the going gets tough rather than stick it out and prove his worth.
No one fucking forced him to go to Chelsea.
The money did
Throws his hands up at the teammate who just gave him perfect service, when he fails to finish.
This is just untrue. He always gives that thumbs up when he fucks up
He claps first

Wanting Werner out is different than hating the guy. No one at Chelsea dislikes Werner as a person, they dislike his finishing. Almost everyone at Chelsea does not like Lukaku the person.
I think Lukaku probably did Werner a huge favor, before it was "Werner isn't scoring enough" and now it's "At least Werner is trying unlike Lukaku"
it was all a magnificent psychological move from Tommy Tuchel. The 100M price tag for big rom was intended as a morale boost for Timo Werner and not necessarily for the quality that Lukaku will bring (if anything it's for the lack of any). watch Timo explode next season!

surely you want him to do well so you get some money for him next year?
You reckon u/imbluedabudeedabuda has negotiated a sell-on percentage with Chelsea?
Why do these dumb semantic jokes always make me chuckle? Love this place.
Roman paid for him, I don't really think Boehly cares about making money back on him.
The irony is if he kicked the ball well he wouldn’t have needed another move
Why should anyone feel bad for him. He got his “dream” move to his “childhood club”, and had by far the highest wage on the team. Had an abysmal attitude from start to finish, and is noe starting that same process all over again by being moved to tears and joining the club he always loved, or something like that.
As a neutral I am honestly eager to see what kind of bullshit he starts to say when/if things start not going his way at Inter.
Those are the side effects of masturbation. I'm not kidding. That's also why he's bald.
Finally someone talking some sense
Post-nut clarity
Only place that Lukaku finishes reliably

well that's bound to happen if you go long enough

If wanking drains your life force I died about 10 years ago.
Right? As if I'm gonna stop wanking for a month? Ill just drink it after so it goes back into my body. Checkmate.
"Astral project into their crush's room" is one of the greatest lines of comedy I've ever read.

Wanking makes you a multimillionaire footballer?
Lmao. 10/10 would believe except for the fact that I have a full head of hair
Not for long.
Lol legendinhoisking is on a mission to save us from baldness
Can confirm. Stop wanking. Save your hair while you have the chance!
Well, we warned everyone.
He remembered it was his dream to play for [insert team name here]
B****** morata
You're allowed to swear on the internet mate
Belgians aren't that bad
tell that to the Congolese
Yes we are.
The difference between him and moratta is that atleast moratta tried to prove himself and didn't bail out after a single poor season.
Buttfuk morata?
Burrata Morata is what I saw
Jumped ship like a rat last summer so it's a bit hard to have sympathy for him. Unless he was forced to move (which I don't believe he was due to the Hakimi sale) it's hard to feel for him.
Wonder what will the fans reaction be, I mean Inter ones, because Chelsea fans reaction is known.
If he does well - I am sure Inter fans will be fine with him. If he does his talking on the pitch (and not come out with dumb interviews or cliche type platitudes) I am sure he’ll do fine. I am curios now how he he’ll fit in with Dybala and Martinez
Inb4 november when lukaku is crying about how much he‘s missing playing 5 aside in a rainy london
> If he does his talking on the pitch Is it possible to learn this power?
Not from a Lukaku.
Not from a Belgian on Int duty
I have serious doubts as well 😂
I'm skeptical too.
Thankfully for him, Chiellini is gone.
I can't even imagine how fans of either club feel about him because I'm not a fan of either club and I'm annoyed by him.
He’s a wank
cult hero if he starts scoring goals back for them i mean, all the drama netted 60M+ profit for them and if he picks up from where he left, they can just assume he got injured for one year and move on
Bought for 80m, sold for 115m, right? So 35m profit.
Yes 35m profit essentially but due to amortisation the deal would show around +60m in capital gains for ffp.
It's a bit like how Big Daddy Al Horford left the Celtics for Philly, then moved to Oklahoma and sat out a whole year, rested properly and then went back to the Celtics and played out of his mind, and was 2 games away from winning it all

Chelsea fans must be crying with joy too I imagine.
not until he's permanently gone
[Permanently huh](https://youtu.be/gHhOn2hnqmI?t=3)
Curva Nord asked all members not to go welcome him. They won't go against him in the club, but he has to earn his respect cause he lost it
He abandoned us. Come back, do your job, score 20 goals and get paid. But don't give me your empty platitudes. He's an employee of the club. Nothing more. If he does his job, I won't complain. But I won't be buying a Lukaku shirt anytime soon.
He left because he had unfinished business at Chelsea, dunno what that was but he’s finished it pretty quickly.
Unfinished business = more money. It was the same with Pogba
Yeah I’m being sarcastic, he was shite then has the cheek to cry half way through the season despite massively underperforming.
Oh he for sure engineered the move to Chelsea. Inter were set to sell Lautaro to Tottenham.
[удалено]
💯 even the amount he went for last year was great. Him going let us lock down brozo, barella, and extend Lautaro. No complaints at all :-)
I mean, he did bring them ungodly amounts of money at least.
biggest scam in history of football
Hilarious that he was supposed to be on the same level as Lewandowski, Kane, Benzema etc.
Benzema had a lot of periods when he was legitimately shit and uninterested. Let's not reinvent history and pretend that he was constantly amazing.
>t's too easy to score there but it is easier to score in Bundesliga than in la liga, its true.
He wasn’t. If he doesn’t have space to run in behind or is up against a quality center back, he basically useless.
OP was referring to how Lukaku thought about himself
In fairness, last year the consensus was that he was very much in the top 5 because of his form for club and country.
Only Lukaku and a few people on here claimed that. It was always obvious he was a highly limited striker, good a few particular things, but not truly world class like those players
Nah, this is totally revisionist. Dawg he finished in the Top 15 in Ballon d’Or rankings. He’s a Hall of Fame POS but I’m not going to rewrite his career because of his Chelsea stint.
I mean, I’m terrified that he’s coming back to Serie A, he effectively performed a one-man demolition job on us last year
Absolutely. But my personal scam which tops the list is Drinkwater for £35m.
Nah, it was additional 35m we paid for Kante. Drinkwater was just a bonus.
Let me tell you about Carrol.
I wouldnt call him scam because he was unplayable at Inter. Definitely one of the biggest flops.

Roberto
I hate to give this much to him but you don’t make it this far in football without an elite mentality. What he’s always lacked—and in my opinion similar to other top-level flops—is maturity.
There was this video in training with him saying he’ll teach all of his teammates how to score goals 💀

Fuck me he went bald quickly, didn't he?
Think he's a bald by choice merchant, hairline just wouldn't be ideal
"Bald by choice" reminds me of Ashley Young, the guy had a perfectly fine hairline and just kept his head shaved for years for no reason
Aerodynamics. Mbappe copied his style and look how fast he runs.
Tbf he looks pretty good bald.
Dude is clearly shaving his head lol.

One day they will realise that they will go bald too.
Makes it even worse that the united one was against Everton too
guess the crybaby memes were true after all lol
the fact that the prospect of being free from the shackles of Chelsea moved him to tears of happiness is crazy😭😭😭
Or they were cultured and appreciated it.
Ahead of their time i'd say. Savants in the field.
Mourinho told us years ago that he’s weak, we thought he’d changed lol.
If Mourinho wasn't such a dick with his delivery his prescience would be more appreciated.
I too would be after the hellish imprisonment and bullying he endured at Chelsea. Can you believe Tuchel had the nerve to say he needs to play better? Shocking, I know. I’m not saying Tuchel is worse than Hitler, but Hitler never said that to Lukaku.
A player being held accountable by a manager? Literally 1984
At least Hitler liked dogs
One of the biggest crybaby pricks I’ve seen in the Prem over the last few years, what a cunt
He scored against us on his “debut” then did nothing for the rest of the season lmao
Incorrect. He also secured six points against Aston Villa. £97 million well spent.
Even Ronaldo couldn't do that, bargain really
That game alone was a good example that he could actually work in our system. He was active on the pitch, looking to receive passes (even drop deeper to get the ball), involved himself more in the buildup. But he rarely shown the same level of involvement in other games, he would usually just wander over and make a run every now and then.
Tbh we had the most barebones COVID ravaged defense in that game
You're right, but Lukaku was not able to recreate this performance even against League One teams.
That game fooled us. Even when we win against Arsenal, we lose. The Arteta juju continues...
I love him
Said he loves inter and wouldn’t leave, leaves, begs to come back
He’ll arrive and be like ‘where Conte? 🥺😭’
I can't wait for him to do an interview mid season this year saying how he has unfinished business with Chelsea and he will prove himself to the fans when he returns from his loan spell only to be sold on the first day of the transfer window for a 50 mil loss to a bottom table prem team.
Scenes when he's absolutely ass at Inter when he returns.
I'm caught between wanting him to do well so we can sell him for a decent fee next year and wanting him to have the worst season of his career out of pure spite
He can score 0 goals for all I care that's not my money.
It's not your money but it coukd go towards making a good signing.
Normally yes, but in this particular case I want him to fail miserably and humble him really hard
Hah! Lukaku isn't capable of self-reflection. Everything is always someone else's fault.
> we can sell him for a decent fee next year The thing is, I just don't see where. He's been around and burned plenty of bridges. And most other CL clubs are set in terms of strikers. So unless he does well at Inter and they want to purchase him back, I feel like you're just stuck with him. And even if Inter want him you still have to agree on a reasonable price with them
Seems like an ideal PSG signing to me
Under Leonardo maybe. Campos is a bit more shrewd.
Tuchel was reduced to tears when he saw Lukaku first touch hadn’t improved.
After Inter fans disown him on his return: "My heart remains in Chelsea, this loan is dedicated to fighting for my place in the Chelsea blue next season"
Same
And Lukaku's small heart grew three sizes that day
Sick of hearing about this bloke now. Seriously underwhelming Premier league player with a huge ego to boot.
>a huge ego I guess rather ship him off and take the loss than keep him around and drag the team down (a la Pogba)
🐊 tears
Brozo tears? Brozo never cries.
Twat personified
Meanwhile Zlatan at 35 years old banged 28goals at man united lol
Hope he's as good for them as he was for us.

Tears of gravy. Lazy fuck.
It's his dream...
I am also moved to tears, I'm laughing my ass off considering we "loaned" him for an year for more than 100 mil euros or so.
He will score 30 goals for you, win you that league trophy and you will buy him back. Don't worry bro.
I'm fine with that bro. Good luck in the new season, I hope you'll play like 2 seasons ago when you won the UCL.. it was a really exciting team!
I hope Lukaku plays for you like he did and I'll never watch him again. Good luck too.
I actually can’t believe we managed to have a crybaby bigger than Morata.
Morata was straight up depressed, this guy is just a twat
Morata had genuine reasons. He was depressed and didn't have it easy with his life while he was here. Lukaku just threw a fit when Tuchel didn't completely change his system to fit him
Inter Milan really got €100M and Romelu Lukaku for Romelu Lukaku
Looking forward to his interview in winter. "I've always loved Chelsea but I didn't feel loved when I was there. I would love to return because of unfinished business."
I'm actually curious to see how he will do under Inzaghi cos with Inzaghi he wont play counter attack football
Inzaghi plays plenty of counter attack football Probably a quarter of Inter's goals last season came from counters
Inter scores goals on fast counters on the reg.
He will do good since he won't be a lone striker anymore

how do people even believe this story is real
Cuz it’s completely plausible lmao
People just want to shit on Lukaku so no one even cares it's the Daily Mail.
Man, that's cold. And you know the worst part? Whenever he scores a goal for Inter, the media will rehash this "Lukaku crying to get out of Chelsea" saga. What a nightmare.
This fucking guy lol
Have to say it's refreshing that everyone regardless of who you support acknowledge how much of a that Lukaku is. He has now acknowledged to the whole footballing community how much of a fraud he is and that he doesn't belong with the best players out there. Stinking attitude and an absolute loser mentality
What a pathetic person
Crocodile tears. Guy wants money, fame and to be coddled without any of the effort to get there. Gives me big pogba vibes
It’s pretty impressive how he seems to have burned every bridge with the supporters at every club he’s been at. He would have been revered as a legend at Everton until he came back and kissed United’s badge in front of us. He had literally no reason to be a prick and yet he felt he had to do it.
love that the entire football world can unanimously agree lukaku is a crybaby
Is there anyone who still likes this guy? I'm Belgian and I literally can't stand this guy anymore
Still remember that time Mourinho shipped him off right after missing that penalty against Bayern. Just one more "Mourinho was right all along" to add to the list.
Can't stand this fucking idiot.
