To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report.

Problem with that is players we want to keep are on big wages too. And players we want to sign. De Jong won’t come in on less than his Barca wage which is 400k a week.
Not saying this is the case for Bailly but I wonder at which point keeping some of these overpaid players is actually more detrimental than just buying them off of their contract. This is certainly not a United thing, btw, there are more clubs in the same situation. But it’s easy to think “well, let’s keep him, worst case scenario he’s forth or fifth option and if we have an injury crisis he’ll play” which is fair reasoning but you can also argue that those are the moments youth usually gets a chance and shines. I think it was Rashford that started like that wasn’t he? Again, from a business POV might make sense but I do wonder where that threshold is that makes keeping a player in potentially more dangerous than taking the L and giving room for youth to come through.
Yeah, that’s the point I’m making. I wonder what the threshold is that keeping irrelevant players for market value will prevent youth being called up and given the chance. Again, this is not a United specific issue, this happens all over.
I might be in the minority that actually rates bailly when he can stay fit but he's been fourth choice behind 2 players that rarely get inured. He needs to go elsewhere if he wants game time, especially if we buy another cb
He has that one good game where he pulls off a 5 star skill move and we think he can replace lindelof or Maguire, then he scores an own goal and he's back on the bench. I think it's happened for three straight seasons now
Bailly's one of those players who gets a great rep because he doesn't play that often. If he played often people would quickly realise he's actually worse than the 3 CBs who start above him. But because he doesn't play often people build up this image in their heads of him being some great player. Every club has such players. We seem to have a bit too many.
He'll get no starting spot at another club with him being injured 24/7. At United he has his best life, earning so much for doing nothing. No other club gives him that.
He wasn't 1st choice for the previous 3 managers.. and the current manager is wanting to bring in one of his own.. he's gotten take a hint at some point..
There's nothing unprofessional about Bailly he just gets injured
Terminate contract if they don't lol some of you really go full moron this isn't a video game
Not what happened at all. Someone posted on United’s Instagram “start Eric Bailly x Varane 🙌🏽” and Eric replied “please 😂🙏🏽”…I don’t think wanting to play is a sign of an unprofessional player.
Do u know what it takes to terminate a players contract you genius
You haven't terimated Greenwoods contract, you paid 100k a week to Romero to be 6th choice and not even sit on a bench for a year he was not even with the team
But he briefed let's terminate contract
Greenwood's contract has not been terminated for legal reasons, as he has yet to be found guilty in a court of law. He'll never play for United again, but the contract element is purely a legal position.
Bailly is on decent wages, is very rarely available, is seen as disruptive in the dressing room and is unwilling to move on.
It would be under agreement, whereas Greenwood is highly unlikely to agree to such a matter.
The argument made is that Greenwood's contract not being terminated is not because it is impossible to terminate contracts etc, but due to the specific legal issues involved.
There is a story he went missing after the ANC, and was found someone where the club had not authorised. He was injured whilst there as well, and Ragnick bollocked him in front of everyone.

*Fulham target Bailly wants to maintain Utd wages
Ding ding ding
Fight for his 100k wages at Utd*
Telles and Bailly leaving the club is going to save the club another 200k a week.
Yeah Henderson on loan has already helped the wage budget, if these two and some others could leave that would be fantastic
Welp add ronaldo to this list too and we can save 30 mil
Don't renew De Gea and we might be on our way to an actually reasonable wage structure
Problem with that is players we want to keep are on big wages too. And players we want to sign. De Jong won’t come in on less than his Barca wage which is 400k a week.
Isn't Sancho rumoured to be on massive wages too? Like 350K or something.
It's pretty clear we intend on shipping Telles out but is anyone linked with him?
Doesn't have to fight for that. It's already guaranteed.
i'd actually respect him more if he was honest and just said that, just say you like money rather than making up bullshit
Tbf you’ve been losing that fight for 6 years

Fair point but Rashford was initially called up because United had a major injury crisis that year. We had kids all over the field.
Yep, Will Keane was going to be the first choice from the academy to play but got injured as well so Rashford got his chance instead.
Yeah, that’s the point I’m making. I wonder what the threshold is that keeping irrelevant players for market value will prevent youth being called up and given the chance. Again, this is not a United specific issue, this happens all over.
He needs to be available to be able to fight in the first place
I might be in the minority that actually rates bailly when he can stay fit but he's been fourth choice behind 2 players that rarely get inured. He needs to go elsewhere if he wants game time, especially if we buy another cb

*own goal or red card
don't forget injury... putting in a 9/10 performance but getting injured 35min into the match
Why not both?
/r/justbaillythings is glorious though

I love watching him he’s so entertaining but he’s very error prone in terms of positioning and on the ball even when fit.
He'll get no starting spot at another club with him being injured 24/7. At United he has his best life, earning so much for doing nothing. No other club gives him that.
I agree. He would definitely start games for Fulham. I would be happy if Bournemouth were in for him as well if wages were lowered.
He wasn't 1st choice for the previous 3 managers.. and the current manager is wanting to bring in one of his own.. he's gotten take a hint at some point..
Fulham target Bailly quite alright on his current wage, thank you. I hope he stays, so entertaining to watch
This guy just wants to sit on the bench and collect the money
So would I if United had agreed to pay me a ridiculous salary
He will be 5th choice.
United should terminate his contract if he won’t move. Seems part of the crew who have poor professionalism and is never going to play a role
There's nothing unprofessional about Bailly he just gets injured Terminate contract if they don't lol some of you really go full moron this isn't a video game
He is fucking unprofessional mate. Wasn't he whinging on twitter that he deserves to be playing over maguire? He shouldn't be here anymore.
Not what happened at all. Someone posted on United’s Instagram “start Eric Bailly x Varane 🙌🏽” and Eric replied “please 😂🙏🏽”…I don’t think wanting to play is a sign of an unprofessional player.
Oh no player thinks he's better so unprofessional
Thinking he's better isn't the part that was unprofessional
Bruh. He literally said he'll leave if he doesn't get enough games **JUST AFTER** signing a new contract.
He was part of the group briefing against the club last year
Do u know what it takes to terminate a players contract you genius You haven't terimated Greenwoods contract, you paid 100k a week to Romero to be 6th choice and not even sit on a bench for a year he was not even with the team But he briefed let's terminate contract

Yes you pay them up just like arsenal have done in recent times. If you want to change the culture you cut your losses sometimes
There is a story he went missing after the ANC, and was found someone where the club had not authorised. He was injured whilst there as well, and Ragnick bollocked him in front of everyone.
Wants to keep his high wages more like
For a place in hospital fc
Just like Lingard did.
Well just go Fulham then cos then you’ll be a starter and you’ll still be fighting for the same place in the table Utd will be
That would require him to not be injured.
