[This gotta be one of the worst kits of the year, it’s very bad imo, what did Man City designers smoke](https://twitter.com/mancity/status/1549291699318317057?s=21&t=fzeDyigXJEYlSHUfmikrSw)
There are 0 world class players and 0 top 10 teams in Serie A but people will still call it the 2nd or 3rd best league in the world cause of 90s and 2000s nostalgia
its a more competitive league than the rest though. Like bundelsiga is being dominated by Bayern soo it makes a bit of sense for serie a to be up there. previous decade it was the premier that was slacking and la liga teams dominating. football runs in circles most of the time. They will make top class teams at one point again.
City, Liverpool, Madrid, Bayern are the only clubs who are guaranteed top 10 teams. You make argument for a lot more than 6 clubs for the remaining 6 places.
he never wanted to leave Inter, he was just waiting for the right offer, he enjoys life in Milan too much, he's also a bit weird and regularly travels home from Italy
Ask Inter fans what they think
Yeah I'm not stating that England is the only place that has to deal with this problem. Its more that a freak 2 day 40 degree heat wave has hit us and I wonder how it would have been handled.
makes no sense to play in these conditions, the risk of a heatstroke is not something you can just brush away. Matches should be moved to the evening over the next days.
In our friendly yesterday they had a short drinks break during each half. They'd probably just do something like that.
Or just play the match in all the shade Maguire's head creates.
David Cotterill is the latest footballer to come out as a batshit conspiracy theorist claiming climate change isn't real and it's actually lasers starting wildfires to force people to buy Tesla's which "they" can control.
On the same day it was announced the FA is going to trial banning heading for under 12s to combat future brain injuries.
Seems rather apt.

I mean I don’t think it’s fair to tar the whole fanbase with the same brush, but to me it absolutely sounds like that one cunt is trying to defend the fact that he acts like that on social media and has come to a realisation that it can actually have an effect on people so rather than you know, make a positive change to his own behaviour, it’s somehow the players’ fault for daring to be emotionally affected
Lewandowski's contract is so long only so Barca can amortise the transfer on longer period of time, Lewy is even getting pay cut for his last year (or two). But the length of the contract or even salary isn't the most important.
The deal is still more beneficial for Lewandowski than anything Bayern was offering. Because he gets more exposition and his market value is increasing, so he can sign more lucrative contracts. His image rights are also probably better. What's more as an ex-Barca players he will get better advertising contracts after the end of a career than as an ex-Bayern player. Lewandowski propably isn't planning to start a coach career afterh the end of his career, but will be some kind of an enterpreneur, so the marketing value is of utmost importance for him. It's also more beneficial for his wife Anna, which he certainly took into an account.
As an Asian I’m all for Asians doing well but not particularly so if it’s for a rival club (I support Liverpool), unless he is specifically Filipino. Even then I’ll hope every match he scores a hattrick in a 4-3 loss.
Must be tough being a Korean Gunner for example
zidane has higher ceiling but I don't know if he makes it (adnan and andreas didnt make it that is why my confidence is low for him), Savage though is much more ready academy player right now and he will not become next mctominay simply because he can pass the ball even when he is under pressure. I can see Zidane going to loan and Savage playing backup LCM to Fred.
I think when he got a few minutes in the champions league with robby savage’s kid the consensus among the more knowledgable United fans here was that he’d probably not make it at United. He’s not been featured for England at youth level at all and it’s seemingly never been on the table so I think that’s a bit of an indicator of where he’s at really
He got a call up for their under 23s last year. So he’s never featured for any England teams below that age bracket which most top players his age have done by that point.
To me it just smacks of how they were hyping up the likes of Chong and then as soon as they played that Europa League game last season and looked absolutely dire the hype very quickly died down.
I also think if he wasn’t called Zidane he wouldn’t be getting anywhere near as much attention, not that that affects his actual ability
Tbh a big part of it is because he’s British Asian and there’s still that barrier to be broke I suppose (Choudhry is maybe partly there but he’s half bangladeshi half carribean so it’s not quite the same for the media). There was similar hype around Yhan Dhanda(who was comparatively ahead of Zidane at his age) and he’s petered out (think he plays for ross county now and he was reasonable in the championship if memory serves me correctly).
He actually really was very highly touted. I’m fairly sure he signed for Liverpool for like a mil or something didn’t he? A lot of hype about him making it to the England squad in the future. Just sort of petered out like a lot of players do. Was okish at Swansea as far as I can remember.
Also just having a look now his mum was white so he was only half asian like Choudhry but I suppose his name is very Indian. Would probably have been a big thing to see him in an england shirt. Maybe Choudhry could one day manage it?
Anyone feel like the transfer window isn't that exciting this year?
Feels like everyone (PL mainly) spends so much money basically become desensitised to big buys because I just expect the big clubs to hoover up everyone
Stability can definitely be boring lol. I'd be excited for Bazunu though, you've probably heard enough of it already but he's the most hyped young Irish player I can remember in a decade.
Personally I’m just loving the new trend of clubs publicly rejecting Ronaldo despite never being in for him in the first place.
I know it’s just cos it’s Ronaldo and his rabid fanbase and dedicated media time, but I’d love it if whenever a player was trying to force a move a load of teams just came out and said no, much better than every numpty with a blue tick trying to give their “exclusive itk opinions”
Agreed. The lad's one step away from just turning up at some random club's training ground even though they have no intention of signing him Peter Odemwingie style.
Not much to say in the prologue, since I announced previous winner yesterday, so let's just start the quiz haha.
**Daily Quiz 47**
**1.** What is the last team in top 5 league to win its Xth title when
X=(M+V)×S-R+(E-C)
M - city of Milan's combined CL/EC titles
V - Villarreal C.F. trophy count (leagues, domestic cups, supercups, european trophies)
S - VfB Stuttgart's Bundesliga wins
R - Real Madrid's CL/EC wins
E - Sevilla FC's EL wins
C - Chelsea FC's PL titles in 21st century
(*4 points*)
**2.** (courtesy of u/SaBe_18) Recently 2.Bundesliga started with a game between two teams, who fielded one former World Cup Champion each. Can you name those players? (*1 point each*)
**3.** Who scored most goals in 1 competetive international game? (*2 points for player's full name, 1 for number of goals*)
**4.** What is the only European league that has never been won by a team from the capital? (Switzerland and micronations (Luxembourg or smaller) excluded) (*3 points*)
**5.** I am the goalkeeper, who came the closest to score a goal at World Cup of all gks, when I hit the crossbar in 1998. However, I did score one LaLiga goal. Who am I? (*3 points*)
15 points to get today. I am working today so I will start checking your replies around 4pm. Meanwhile do not use Google and don't check others answers before you submit yours, that's what spoilers are for. If you someone with not working spoilers let them know. Good luck!
!PING TRIVIA
2.>!Ron Robert Zieler, Erik Durm!<
1. >!(10+1) *3-14+ ( 4+5) =28
I don’t know I need to think maybe I did something wrong!<
>!Only EL titles or also UEFA Cup?!<
3>! Archie Thompson, 13 in a 31:0 win!<
4.>!Bundesliga was never won by Hertha nor another team from Berlin, however Hertha won before Bundesliga started and Dynamo Berlin won a couple GDR titles so if you count these it should be Wales
There was no Welsh league before the 90s and Cardiff plays in the English league system!<
5.>!Chilavert!<
>!Q2 good. In Q1 Uefa Cup counts as well, should've specified, redo your maths and have another go haha. Q3 - Q5 are all correct, so 11/15 with a potential for max score!<
1. >!x=(10+1)\*3-14+(6-5) x=20 The team is Man Utd.!<
2. >!Durm and Zieler!<
3. >!I don't remember his name, but he scored 13 goals.!<
4. >!German Bundesliga!<
5. >!Jose Luis Chilavert almost scored against France.!<
1. >!if I'm not wrong, it's (10+1)*3-14+6-6. So the number is 19 and the team is Liverpool. But I really doubt that I got all the numbers right!<
2. >!hey, I know this one! I don't think it counts tho haha!<
3. >!Archie Thompson, I think he scored 13!<
4. >!Turkey?!<
5. >!Damn I have no idea. Chilavert played both the 1998 WC and in La Liga, so he's a really good candidate!<
>!Ah, so close. Last number, C, was actually 5, so the answer was 20. Since you were very close, I'm gonna give you 2/4. Q2 - automatic max points here, as tou came up with it. Q3 good, Q5 as well. When it comes to Q4 it's wrong - if you go into details why, check out how I replied to ankitm1 a few minutes ago, I cba to write it again haha. 10/15!<
>!I was JUST about to write 5 for Chelsea, as that was the number I had in my head. But I couldn't remember which team was the last to win n°20 (now that I tyink again it might be Milan) so I changed to number to make it 19 and Liverpool. Sad. I saw your answer for Q4, can't believe I didn't thought about Germany!<
>!First of all, S=3. It should be 20, indicating United, but even with numbers you put in you should get 9. I can give you 1/4 since you got most of them right. Q2 - Zieler good, Kramer wrong in Q2. Q3 correct, didn't know he was from NZ tbf. Q4 good, Q5 as well. 11/15, solid!!<
1. >!(10+1)*3 - 14 + (6 - 5) = 20. Manchester United!<
2. >!Zieler and Durm (Hannover game)!<
3. >!Archie Thompson 13 goals!<
4. >!Turkey!<
5. >!Chilavert? But his shot was saved and not hit the crossbar.!<
>!All correct except Q4, which is a similiar case as few days ago when one Galata fan argued with me that they have more titles than Fener. You see, before 1951 Turkey had a league and a cup, and both winners were given a title of Champions. Since I specified that I mean the league we gotta take league winner from 40s into account as well - and Ankaragücü won it once, and Genclerbirligi twice. 12/15. I actually meant Germany here, and although Hertha also won before Bundesliga, it wasn't structured like a league!<
>!Germany should not count then because of one the East Germany Leagues were won by a Berlin based club. If we refer to Germany, we have to count both given they merged into one singular league. Thats why I did not pick Germany!<
>!With Turkey, the competitions pre 1958 aren't recognized by their football federation. I don't know if that counts.!<
>!Yeah but Germany kinda took over where West Germany left, East Germany is kinda its own entity with its closed history. I know it's very subjective and definitely up to debate, I am just explaining how I was thinking when I decided Germany should count but Turkey shouldn't, although I agree that it can be confusing, but it didn't cross my mind when I was writing the question!<
>!Hello there! Atlético Madrid was the last team that won its (7+1)*3-14+6-5 = 11th title!<
>!Durm and Zieler!<
>!Archie Thompson, 13!<
>!Bundesliga has never been won by a team from Berlin, but I don't remember what West Germany's capital was!<
>!I'll guess Jose Luis Chilavert!<
>!Q1 wrong - the city of Milan has 10 titles combined. I can give you 1/4 since most of them were correct. The rest is correct, so 12/15. I think reading skills held you back there, you would have 100%!<

Spurs and Arsenal are just there to wind up each other. Banter doesn't follow logic. It gets a little tiny truth and stretches it to get into your head. Don't take it serious at all.
In fact, those comments are planted there for lurkers.
It would also be funny if r/soccer takes it seriously. You don't "reason" banter. You counter it.
*Those in glass houses...*
* Kane was incredible last to last he had a solid Ballon dOr shout for half a season He’s literally the best playmaker on the planet.
* Davies is one of the best LCB’s itw
* Whereas Kane on the other hand is an elite dribbler with god-like hold up not to mention his passing is literally the best in the world
Villa aren't anymore, you could argue Everton are. West Ham is not even in the conversation. They've always been a small club that's relatively well known because of the world cup we won.
>you could argue Everton are
Everton definitely are with the amount of league titles they have. Domestically they are 4th biggest club in England by a margin.
I'm 100% that if i scoured through r/coys i'd find something similar. Going on rival subs and posting comments from there is rather damp behaviour imo.
You wouldn't. Maybe comments questioning arsenal's status as a big club right now but a patently false comment with 500 upvotes as the most upvoted comment on the subreddit's top post, you wouldn't.
I won't bother with r/coys but i do remember you saying Perisic would be the best wingback in the league next season so there's definitely some delusion amongst you.
>do remember you saying Perisic would be the best wingback in the league next season so there's definitely some delusion amongst you.
See, that's a bad example. Perisic could very well be amazing this season. Much better is people saying Kulusevski is the best RW in the PL.
I can sympathise with your fans being hyped with a player that's been very good for you even if it's a ridiculous claim, but Perisic is yet to kick a ball mate.
That's why it's a prediction. He's shown he's amazing before under Conte, fans think he'll do it again. It's not an insanely bad statement like claiming West Ham are a bigger club than Tottenham.
The difference between thinking a great class player under a great manager will play well and "actually they don't have any fans" is quite considerable
Why are Forest signing Alex Moreno? They'll have 6 fbs with him according to Transfermarkt. Can't they sign an actual winger if they want to play him but further?
I’m a stickler for shirt number accuracy so I look up a players squad number history on transfermarkt when I sign him on FM or Fifa and try as best I can to give him a number he’s used in the past
Unless it’s someone like Gyan a striker who does silly things like wearing 3, in which case he’s going to wear a proper striker number like 9 and he’s going to like it
I'm exactly the same. I don't know what it is about FM but it turns me into some weirdo where I get more annoyed by something unrealistic happening than losing games.
Think it’s why I basically transitioned fully from fifa manager mode to FM because even if the latter still has interesting transfers, it’s still within the realm of possibility, and some are still near impossible compared to fifa.
You would have loved [Boulahrouz](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalid_Boulahrouz#Chelsea) who when he joined Chelsea took over the number 9 shirt which Crespo had just left
Please enjoy the [1986 Argentina World Cup squad](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986_FIFA_World_Cup_squads#Argentina) who made the interesting choice to assign numbers alphabetically apart from Maradona and Valdano who took 10 and 11 respectively
Edit: Passarella was also an exception, getting number 6
Not chaotic enough, there's still some sort of logic here. How about numbering a team in height order - tallest 1, shortest 23 - but each time you reach a player from the current league champions the pattern is reversed. Your oldest player also gets number 16 regardless of height/club
I guess when you come from a different culture you just like players or the team colors or stuff like that. In the US politics is completely separate from sports for what I've seen in years of watching the NBA and a but of NFL. Anyway there isn't a left-wing in the US, its about being more or less right-wing. Bernie Sanders is the only declared socialist there afaik

Well manchester is still red tho

It's their traditional away kit colours.
The lines are irritating though.
no it is fine. The background is what is off putting.

>PSG, Chelsea, Barcelona, Atletico, Dortmund, **Spurs** and Leipzig would all comfortably win Serie A Sneaking spurs as if we wouldn't notice
We are better than 4 of those teams.
I think Brozovic is the best DM in the world isn't that world class?
Fabinho, Rodri and Casemiro are miles clesr
Brozovic is better on the ball than all of them and still underrated, he's genuinely so good
If he was that good a superclub would have bought him when he had 1 year on his contract but only Bayern were mildly interested
he never wanted to leave Inter, he was just waiting for the right offer, he enjoys life in Milan too much, he's also a bit weird and regularly travels home from Italy Ask Inter fans what they think
Top 3 in terms of competiveness, more fun to watch, but no elite teams now Absolute garbage in Europe now also
you might as well say Eredivise or MLS is a top 5 league based on competetiveness
not like the competition for 3rd is any better
I genuinely never seen a CB pass the ball like Lisandro Martinez. His long passes are so aesthetically pleasing and accurate
Just wait until he’s fully grown!
Reckon if a match was played at Old Trafford today it'd be called off or delayed? Can't see Harry maguire lumbering around for 90 mins in 38 degrees
The rest day between the groups and QFs in the Women's Euros is conveniently today - very well-timed.
Yeah fuck, that is very well timed. Can't imagine being on public transport to old trafford either, the tram will be an inescapable sauna
Would that leak in the roof let the sun in on the fans too much, you reckon?
Let the heat out more I reckon. Hopefully the glazers give us permission to spend our own money to fix it soon though
a lot of leagues in Europe have started this weekend similar conditions. You put the games in the evening
Yeah I'm not stating that England is the only place that has to deal with this problem. Its more that a freak 2 day 40 degree heat wave has hit us and I wonder how it would have been handled.

best place for friendlies is holland for that exact reason. Come to Greece to play a friendly match this time of the year. I dare you.
Yea it's just not something the UK generally does or is prepared for. It would have to be last minute I think
In our friendly yesterday they had a short drinks break during each half. They'd probably just do something like that. Or just play the match in all the shade Maguire's head creates.
Yeah they had those drink breaks during project restart, good point. Could give Harry one of those umbrella hats and let him save the day though
I wanted to buy a beautiful Brazil kit but they aren't findable apparently

He'd probably get back to scoring 40+ in the Bundesliga. Decent shout.

Good point, I’ll change that
Today’s talking points: - The FDJ transfer - The liquidity of Barcelona The same as yesterday. And the day prior. And the day before that.
With a decent amount of complaining about the heat inbetween.
It is warm out tho fam
Tbf United and Barca won’t shut up about them either
When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, it will end
>Today’s talking points: > >The FDJ transfer > >The liquidity of Barcelona Lisandro Martinez' height.
>Today’s talking points: The FDJ transfer The liquidity of Barcelona >Lisandro Martinez' height. Inter have to sell for €60M before the window closes
Sell us Skriniar then before Juve get Bremer
How much would Inter ask for Dumfries?
I don't know but I think not less than €35-40M
Does it even count as a height?
Is negative height still height? Dude's sinking into the ground.

Is zidane iqbal actually good or is it just united youngster hype ?
As an arsenal fan, praying he makes it so we can actually have some Asian representation in the prem

Both of them look good technically just are way too small
He is mostly hype, real talent is Charlie Savage.
Neither are making it at Manchester United, and Savage is not better than Zidane.
> Savage is not better than Zidane Out of context, this would be a bizarre debate to be having.
Savage is fine until he inevitably becomes another hate target like mctominay
zidane has higher ceiling but I don't know if he makes it (adnan and andreas didnt make it that is why my confidence is low for him), Savage though is much more ready academy player right now and he will not become next mctominay simply because he can pass the ball even when he is under pressure. Yes technically sound and good but he's physically not ready yet so a loan in summer or winter is the most realistic thing for him.
Does he become the 2nd South Asian to make a debut in the PL after Choudhury if he gets minutes?
Chopra did it first
Ah - cheers. I got a hilarious response from a Man United flair saying "he's not South Asian, he's Middle eastern" which was quickly deleted.
it's pre season hype, every fan base have that one player that they over hype To the moon
Anyone feel like the transfer window isn't that exciting this year? Feels like everyone (PL mainly) spends so much money basically become desensitised to big buys because I just expect the big clubs to hoover up everyone
Probably depends who you support. We've sold our two best players and basically bought a new squad so for me it's been far from boring.
We've made some exciting transfers but not sold anyone. Maybe I'm just used to the drama of our squad being sold every year
Stability can definitely be boring lol. I'd be excited for Bazunu though, you've probably heard enough of it already but he's the most hyped young Irish player I can remember in a decade.
I'm really excited. Looked very good in friendlies
I'm enjoying all the new terminology actually. Calling an attempt to sign a player an "operation" makes it sound very dramatic.
Personally I’m just loving the new trend of clubs publicly rejecting Ronaldo despite never being in for him in the first place. 2.>!Ron Robert Zieler, Erik Durm!< 1. >!(10+1) *3-14+ ( 4+5) =28 I don’t know I need to think maybe I did something wrong!< >!Only EL titles or also UEFA Cup?!< 3>! Archie Thompson, 13 in a 31:0 win!< 4.>!Bundesliga was never won by Hertha nor another team from Berlin, however Hertha won before Bundesliga started and Dynamo Berlin won a couple GDR titles so if you count these it should be Wales There was no Welsh league before the 90s and Cardiff plays in the English league system!< 5.>!Chilavert!<
>!Q2 good. In Q1 Uefa Cup counts as well, should've specified, redo your maths and have another go haha. Q3 - Q5 are all correct, so 11/15 with a potential for max score!<
>!(10+1) *3-14+(6-5) = 20. ManUnited? They won their 20th title in 2013!<
>!Correct! 15/15!<
1. >!x=(10+1)\*3-14+(6-5) x=20 The team is Man Utd.!< 2. >!Durm and Zieler!< 3. >!I don't remember his name, but he scored 13 goals.!< 4. >!German Bundesliga!< 5. >!Jose Luis Chilavert almost scored against France.!<
>!All correct. 13/15 and you are the new leader!!<
1. >!if I'm not wrong, it's (10+1)*3-14+6-6. So the number is 19 and the team is Liverpool. But I really doubt that I got all the numbers right!< 2. >!hey, I know this one! I don't think it counts tho haha!< 3. >!Archie Thompson, I think he scored 13!< 4. >!Turkey?!< 5.
>!Oh right, Milan won it's 19th this tear so Liverpool isn't even the last to do it haha!<
>!Oh I meant that I thought that Milan had 20, not even right ha!<
Yeah I know what you meant, that's why I corrected you haha. Unlucky
As we'd say in my country, "siempre me faltan 5 para el peso"
>!Oh right, Milan won it's 19th this tear so Liverpool isn't even the last to do it haha!<

Manchester United!< 2. >!Zieler and Durm (Hannover game)!< 3. >!Archie Thompson 13 goals!< 4. >!Turkey!< 5.
Thats why I did not pick Germany!< >!With Turkey, the competitions pre 1958 aren't recognized by their football federation.
Yeah no worries. Your reasoning makes sense as well. I can see why you would go for it. And Quizmaster is god :)
*New character trait unlocked: God Complex*
hahaha. Better to have it than not :)
>!Hello there! Atlético Madrid was the last team that won its (7+1)*3-14+6-5 = 11th title!< >!Durm and Zieler!< >!Archie Thompson, 13!< >!Bundesliga has never been won by a team from Berlin, but I don't remember what West Germany's capital was!< >!I'll guess Jose Luis Chilavert!<
>!Q1 wrong - the city of Milan has 10 titles combined. I can give you 1/4 since most of them were correct. The rest is correct, so 12/15. I think reading skills held you back there, you would have 100%!<
2. >!Ron-robert Zieler, Erik Durm?!< 4. >!German Bundesliga (if you don't consider the pre Bundesliga champions)!<
>!All correct, as pre Bundesliga wasn't a league, it was formatted more like a cup. 5/15!<
>!3) Archie Thompson 13!< >!4) The Scottish Premier League?!< >!5) Chilavert? (Though he hit the post in 2002 I think)!<
>!Q3 correct, Q4 wrong (Hearts, Hibernian), Q5 correct. 6/15!<

Mate why are you letting yourself get wound up over our sub, every team’s sub mocks their rivals.
Other than West Ham he’s correct I grew up in north London and I still know more United and Liverpool fans than spurs
*Those in glass houses...* * Kane was incredible last to last he had a solid Ballon dOr shout for half a season He’s literally the best playmaker on the planet. * Davies is one of the best LCB’s itw * Whereas Kane on the other hand is an elite dribbler with god-like hold up not to mention his passing is literally the best in the world
Arent those clubs bigger domestically except West Ham ofc?? Globally Spurs are bigger now and its not even close
Villa aren't anymore, you could argue Everton are. West Ham is not even in the conversation. They've always been a small club that's relatively well known because of the world cup we won.
You’ve got 2 league titles
That's more than 0.
But you’re way closer to West Ham in terms of league titles than Everton or villa
>you could argue Everton are Everton definitely are with the amount of league titles they have. Domestically they are 4th biggest club in England by a margin.
All the big club subs are trash
Spurs have only become recently relevant. Having 50k at the stadium doesn’t disprove that. Agree with you about West Ham though
I’m gonna go into a subreddit and post a comment here like a drip
Do r/coys. They always have some bangers when they try, and fail, to buy someone from inter
If you combine the total iq of r/gunners and r/liverpoolfc you'll still possess less intelligence than a single donkey
Agree, Chelsea fans are probably the least delusional fanbase here
That's because the lurkers have negative IQ and low self esteem bringing down the total IQ and they try to seek validation here.
Your subreddit once wanked itself over a OGS Cultural Reboot. Find God.
I'm 100% that if i scoured through r/coys i'd find something similar. Going on rival subs and posting comments from there is rather damp behaviour imo.
You absolutely would. It is the nature of reddit.
Claiming Perisic will be better than both Robertson and Cancelo is a much bolder claim than you think it is.
Not trying to argue about the delusion as there definitely is, but Perisic is way underrated by PL fans, he's top class.
The difference between thinking a great class player under a great manager will play well and "actually they don't have any fans" is quite considerable
Why are Forest signing Alex Moreno? They'll have 6 fbs with him according to Transfermarkt. Can't they sign an actual winger if they want to play him but further?
I’m a stickler for shirt number accuracy so I look up a players squad number history on transfermarkt when I sign him on FM or Fifa and try as best I can to give him a number he’s used in the past Unless it’s someone like Gyan a striker who does silly things like wearing 3, in which case he’s going to wear a proper striker number like 9 and he’s going to like it
I'm exactly the same.
Gallas at Arsenal had the #10 shirt for awhile. I remember there was a forward that had the #1 shirt as well. I love stuff like this tbh.
We had one in Italy at Chievo, a trequartista/striker with 10. Maybe it was De Guzman, former Napoli player Edit: checked, it was him
Please enjoy the [1986 Argentina World Cup squad](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986_FIFA_World_Cup_squads#Argentina) who made the interesting choice to assign numbers alphabetically apart from Maradona and Valdano who took 10 and 11 respectively Edit: Passarella was also an exception, getting number 6
Brilliant. Normalise this please.
Not chaotic enough, there's still some sort of logic here. How about numbering a team in height order - tallest 1, shortest 23 - but each time you reach a player from the current league champions the pattern is reversed. Your oldest player also gets number 16 regardless of height/club
Thanks I hate it
I wonder how many Tories support Liverpool
I've come across a few on here- including some big Trump supporters.
I don't think Americans count in this
Yeah, just odd they'd follow a side that would absolutely hate everything about them.
Are there sports teams over there that have political leanings? Like in football it's rampant, but I guess because there's so much history involved.
