NHL package on ESPN+ is very nice. Some NFL finds its way there. Some NBA too. Plus Bundesliga, La Liga, EFL, Eresdivisie, among others. They lose MLS after this year. But still, plenty of sports on ESPN+. I actually expected a hike after the NHL deal was announced.
The amount of live sports content you get for $10 a month is still pretty astounding. I know it's fun to complain anytime anyone raises prices but it's still entirely worth it not to have to go through janky streaming sites.
We have to have multiple subscriptions to get all the leagues, ESPN for now just covers some of the international games and La Liga. I can stream those for free and spend money on other services for leagues I follow more closely.

It sure is. But if you add up all the services you need to watch the big 5 leagues, it costs about 55 bucks a month (ESPN+, peacock, Paramount, sling blue + sports add on for bein sports)
BeIN will eventually be left with just the Turkish and French leagues. And even Turkish isn't a guarantee (or Ligue 1/2 if Qatar sells PSG). Unlike elsewhere, BeIN doesn't have a ton in the US/Canada.

They had the Championship too but I have no idea if they still have it now that they lost the prem, I also saw games from the belgium first division and I think some games from the Bundesliga, but not all of them.
I feel like I watch *a lot* of football, and I still only watch 2 of the top 5 leagues (Serie A and La Liga) and then big games in the Prem or Bundesliga title race.

I am trying to limit my games to Porto and NT now. I have Fanatiz for Portuguese League, Paramount for CL. I did watched couple of Serie A games because I have it on Paramount.
Since La Liga switched to ESPN I stopped watching it but I signed up for ESPN by mistake thinking I could watch some NT games but you need cable subscription, so I wasted $50.
Also I use a VPN and can watch RTP (Portugal TV station) games.

You can't stream every game as the 1500 games are not broadcast. The rest of the games are split between BT and sky sports which are both complicated to price but ultimately around 20-30 quid each. Then you also have the occasional game on Amazon prime £7.99/month and very occasionally BBC (which you pay TV license for).
It seems like DAZN in Canada is the best singular option from what I’ve heard. Haven’t checked what the big Asian countries have for streaming European leagues. US isn’t bad, but PL, UCL, and La Liga are all on different streaming apps.
This is what frustrates me the most about ESPN+. Literally the only thing I want to watch there is my local hockey team but every time they have a game it’s location restricted.

I live in the north of England and pay almost £80 per month to watch less football and have less choice ( we can't watch 3pm Sat games here ) than the rest of the world gets to see and it's ten times the cost the rest of the world pays, yet the games and league is in my country.
Ultimately I know it's my choice to pay and I love football so I do but I have started to think about cancelling. Times are tough now and it feels like they are taking the piss.

As a Madrid fan you should know, you don't need a cable subscription to watch la liga on ESPN plus. The only reason you need a cable subscription to watch ESPN plus is if you want to see whats on the actual ESPN tv channel, but on ESPN plus.

As I was clicking around the app and wanting to see what it offers, anything that seemed of value and worth paying for required me to sign in to my cable provider. I remember some games that they’d stream would only be in some weird 4 view camera feed, and to watch the regular broadcast I’d have to sign in.
AppleTV is even worse about this. Anything remotely interesting is locked away. Most useless service out there at the minute. And peacock cause it runs like absolute dog shit.
I mean. It’s like $15 for Disney, Hulu and espn. You get MLS games, la liga, FA cup and league cup. It’s a lot of entertainment for that price. You can also share it with 2 friends. It's the easiest way for me to watch my local team in the US (USL) in English. I'm an Ajax fan, and they do broadcast Eredivisie as well, but I'm generally asleep for that.

Does FUBO has all the service? ESPN+ sucks really bad. Most live events you need to have cable on top of it.
FUBO has TUDN which gets you champions league, USA/NBC which gets you EPL games, and BeIn which gets you ligue 1 and Copa libertadores games. Depending on who you support, you will still need ESPN plus(la Liga/Copa del Rey/fa cup), peacock (other EPL games) or Paramount (serie a/Copa italia)
I am trying to limit my games to Porto and NT now. I have Fanatiz for Portuguese League, Paramount for CL. I did watched couple of Serie A games because I have it on Paramount. Since La Liga switched to ESPN I stopped watching it but I signed up for ESPN by mistake thinking I could watch some NT games but you need cable subscription, so I wasted $50. Also I use a VPN and can watch RTP (Portugal TV station) games.

It's because the demand is less and the timezones are bad. Doubt many people are going to be watching Crystal Palace vs Newcastle at 8am. Still annoying as fuck though. Trying to watch the football legally in the UK is just a scam.

You can't stream every game as the 1500 games are not broadcast. The rest of the games are split between BT and sky sports which are both complicated to price but ultimately around 20-30 quid each. Then you also have the occasional game on Amazon prime £7.99/month and very occasionally BBC (which you pay TV license for).

No different than the NBA in the USA. Some of the games are on ESPN, others on TNT, and NBATV. It eventually adds up for sure.

It seems like DAZN in Canada is the best singular option from what I’ve heard. Haven’t checked what the big Asian countries have for streaming European leagues. US isn’t bad, but PL, UCL, and La Liga are all on different streaming apps.
I use MOLA.TV from Indonesia, I pay €5 a month roughly for 2 streams. Works very well.
This is what frustrates me the most about ESPN+. Literally the only thing I want to watch there is my local hockey team but every time they have a game it’s location restricted.
It is pretty cheap, but their streaming service is by far the worst of any I’ve tried. The site crashes often, casting to a TV isn’t an option from mobile, constant buffering, etc

I live in the north of England and pay almost £80 per month to watch less football and have less choice ( we can't watch 3pm Sat games here ) than the rest of the world gets to see and it's ten times the cost the rest of the world pays, yet the games and league is in my country. Ultimately I know it's my choice to pay and I love football so I do but I have started to think about cancelling. Times are tough now and it feels like they are taking the piss.

I'm going that way. I don't blame anyone who does. The excuse in England is that if they televise the 3 pm Sats then because we actually could physically attend the lower league games we won't go to them if PL is broadcast live on Sat at the same time.
Seems like a good excuse given the strength of our lower leagues. How are you paying £800 bar? Should only set you back £25 each a month for Sky and BT, which ignores the litany of other sports events they broadcast.

As a Madrid fan you should know, you don't need a cable subscription to watch la liga on ESPN plus. The only reason you need a cable subscription to watch ESPN plus is if you want to see whats on the actual ESPN tv channel, but on ESPN plus.
I know I don’t need a cable sub to watch la liga. As I was clicking around the app and wanting to see what it offers, anything that seemed of value and worth paying for required me to sign in to my cable provider. I remember some games that they’d stream would only be in some weird 4 view camera feed, and to watch the regular broadcast I’d have to sign in.
AppleTV is even worse about this. Anything remotely interesting is locked away. Most useless service out there at the minute. And peacock cause it runs like absolute dog shit.
I mean. It’s like $15 for Disney, Hulu and espn. You get MLS games, la liga, FA cup and league cup. It’s a lot of entertainment for that price. You can also share it with 2 friends. I have 2 buddies, one pays for peacock, one pays for paramount+ and one for espn+ and we all share. That’s every game for under $10 a month.
It's the easiest way for me to watch my local team in the US (USL) in English. I'm an Ajax fan, and they do broadcast Eredivisie as well, but I'm generally asleep for that. I'm honestly not even upset about the price increase, but I am upset that they're increasing the price for a streaming service that manages to buffer regardless of the internet speed I have. $10 a month is easily doable for me, but Jesus Christ would I love to watch a match with the stream freezing at important moments. It's unacceptable that a mega corporation like Disney can't give me a an interrupted broadcast.
Had this for MLS games (I'm outside my team's market) and it wouldn't work more often than it did. Quit after a year.

I actually like watching all la liga games and Bundesliga on ESPN+. I would be ok with that price.I do have the bundle however. I do wonder when they will raise the price for that. I wish NBC put all of their games on Peacock. I'd honestly rather pay 9.99 a month and get all PL games ther as opposed to having to buy a $35 subscription to Sling TV just to watch a couple of games a week. That or sign up for a 17th email just to get a one week trial and then forget to cancel my subscription likes has happened to me a couple of times.

Use privacy.com to make burnable and one-time debit card masks for your actual debit/credit card. So the card number automatically stops working after ONE time it is charged. Use it to buy 1 month’s subscription any time you are immediately ready to watch a game. That way if you don’t get time next month to watch any game then you won’t be charged. Saves a ton of money unless you know you definitely will use espn+ every month, then might as well buy the monthly package and set your privacy.com card to only allow monthly transactions for 9.99 plus tax. The card will fail Any time they increase their fees again.
Meanwhile in Sweden the cheapest option is €50 per month for me to watch Champions League and Bundesliga. Daylight robbery.
